Most women cannot comprehend what its like to be a man so they cannot have true empathy. Empathy comes from development but as young woman are largly protected from the brunt of society they do not develop it as well or at least at the same rate as men in society. I dont think its till they have a son they start to develop empathy to men and the same can probably be said about men haveing daughters.

    1. You can piss while standing up
    2. You don't have to shave your legs.
    3. You don't have to walk back and forth as much when moving atuff from one place to another, as you can carry more weight.
    4. You are less likely to get raped, you just get murdered instead.
    5. The bois. I don't think women can understand fun with the bois.

    My ex left me via note. Shes older than me.
    Sbe got annoyed with me because i had just got home from going to the shops for her and she gave me a billion instructions simultaneously
    Before i could sit down she asked me to roll her a joint, make a tea, get her biscuits, find a takeaway menu, roll her a cigarette, phone up and order the food, then asked to get more biscuits and roll another joint and i was so overwhelmed and i said "i'm just going into the courtyard to drink my tea just for 2 minutes of silence, I'll be right back"
    She flipped out at me when i returned saying i had no right to feel overwhelmed by her instructions. Insulting me telling me that im cruel, worthless, stuck up and dumb.
    Doing the whole "who do you think you are to be able to dismiss yourself from me when I'm giving you instructions?"
    Then later that night she flipped out again because i fed my neighbours cat. She accused me of sleeping with everyone on the block and i got a text from that neighbour asking "is everything okay".
    so my ex was like "you're obviously sleeping with her too! Nobody your age will ever like you because you are loser and you should k*** yourself; this world will be so much better without you in it".
    And i cried and asked "why would you say that?"
    She said "stop crying p××syhole" and kept shouting at me about how i am a bad person
    She left the next morning and put a note on my table saying "Alex for f××× sake you are so depressing i can't take it. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and grow some b×ll×cks. If you are really so depressed then just give me all your money and i will k×ll you properly. Goodbye"

    Very true, I went through a major health crisis with a brain cyst. No one called me, and no one but my parents cared. Literally, I was told possibly my personality could change completely if the cyst needed to be removed and there would be brain damage caused by the surgery. None of my "close friends" could be bothered to come to visit me/ call. The girl I was seeing ghosted me too. I ended up spending months completely isolated yet surrounded by "friends and Family". I told a close female friend about how scared I was about possibly having to under brain resectioning surgery, and she made fun of me for being emotional. After I found out I didn't have to have surgery, everyone acted like they were there for me the whole time. I ended up getting jumped and nearly beaten to death at my celebration party a week later. No one called the cops, and I was locked outside to die by the same people who told me hours before they would never turn their back on me again. If you're a man, no one is there for you. Even my female therapist who I was paying hundreds of dollars a session told me she could see me anymore because I was "drug-addicted". I smoked weed a couple times a day to help me with my ptsd. I feel like my experience would have been different if I was a woman.

      @@idkmlb7735 I have seen some feminists actually consider such issues as men's consent. It's rare but it happens. Of more concern from an, "I care about men too." perspective is that the messaging from every aspect of society is off. It doesn't help much for an individual woman to be willing to consider individual males when every male can clearly see in every single media throughout society that no one cares. On The View on of the 'ladies' stated that ,"Men don't feel the same way women do so Women shouldn't care about men." If anyone even tried to reverse that they would be canceled before they were done speaking. If you really are serious about helping men be willing to call these stuff out. Men aren't going to be willing to trust you until you earn it. Most of us know that women who do this are going to take a LOT of stuff for it, but you will also earn some trust for doing it.

    Since I was about the age of 12, when I started joining the internet and social media, I have been taught that I am a threat to society because of what's between my legs, that I can't show emotion, that I have to be the one to provide, that I have to be the "man of the house". I was also taught that women had the power, not by people saying it but by how people act around women compared to men. If someone insults a woman due to her gender, or in fact anything about her, she will have hundreds of people come to defend her and those people will full out attack the person who said that mean thing, If a man gets insulted, you might have a few people defending him, but the majority will probably agree with whatever the insult is, often claiming they're "taking down the patriarchy" and those people wont attack the insulter, especially if it is a woman, as then they will be attacked back ten fold. Through this whole thing, from the age of 12 ish, I have been conditioned to be scared of women, the fact that every time I'm walking along a street or a hallway and a woman is in front of me, I make an effort to not be behind her for too long out of fear that she might get scared or start to suspect me, I'm constantly afraid that I will start to scare women because I am a man, I'm barley 17 and this is how life is for me. I've also been the target of casual sexism as long as I can remember. I personally have a lot of mental health issues, and I've often heard from a lot of women "He doesn't want help, he's a typical man" when all I wanted was help, I just didn't know how to say it or how to explain my feelings because this was the first time anyone would ever listen to me, even my own mum said this to me. "He can't multitask, he's a man" "You never listen to me" are some other phrases I've just come to expect. In this day and age, men are afraid of women, and women are afraid of men, most of the time, this isn't because of personal experience either, people are just told stories about 1 man doing something he shouldn't have done to a woman and therefore all men are pigs, a phrase I hate, along with kill all men. Do you have any idea the uproar there would be if that was said about women? Being sexist towards men has just become acceptable, whereas if you're sexist towards women, even slightly or by accident, you are called a pig, you're disguising, you will be harassed and attacked. It's vile. It's also clear that women don't trust me as much because I'm a man. If I am fully honest, I am terrified of women, because they could ruin your life by just saying one sentence, "He took advantage of me". One of my ex's went nuts after SHE broke up with ME, not the other way around, she managed to convince all my friends that I had used my mental health to get my way, that I threatened to take my life if she left (something she did to me actually) that I once followed her around her house after the break up. At one point I was scared she would straight up say that I had sexually assaulted her, because if she could convince my closest friends I did all that, then what was stopping her from saying that too? This isn't to say my friends are bad people and aren't good friends, it's to say that men are scared of women and have been conditioned to trust them by default because only men can abuse and sexually assault women right?
    There's so much more I could say and rant about but I just had to get a load of things off my chest after watching this video, society is fucked up and the rulers capitalize on this by pushing the agenda because it makes them money. Thank you to anyone who read all this, I hope you have a good rest of your day, and if you're struggling, whatever race or whatever gender you identify as, don't give up. Because once you reach rock bottom, the only way you can go is up.

The BS plus workload drained my entire energy I could hardly think of anything else but sleep. Suddenly it hit me that men like my dad who work even longer hours, not supposed to complain, gotta be tough, man up, gotta be wise, can't cry, gotta take heavier load coz physically stronger, n take on the responsibility as provider. I just shudder at the thought, no way I can survive that way. Now i understand my dad's temper and why he smoked 5 packs a day. I never see him cry or talks a lot like I do with my girlfriends. I completely relate to what the men in the articles are describing, but in reverse... I was born male then transitioned to female in my mid-20s, and for the most part, my life has gotten much easier.
    Some men do talk over me and disregard my opinions more than they used to, but they're few and far between, and on the whole, it almost feels like people are more likely to listen and take me seriously. I work in IT and spend nights working on a biomedical engineering degree, so a lot of the time I'm the only woman in very men-dominated spaces; when I do speak my mind on something it almost seems like everyone stops and listens because I bring that different perspective. On top of that people seem to care, like really care, about what I'm feeling and how my mental health is. Also, just like the men in your article, people take my opinion far more seriously when it comes to minority issues... or even political issues. I'm very pro-second amendment, when I used to discuss the political issues related to it, people used to stereotype me as 'just another gun-nut guy', but now people who strongly disagree with me on political issues are far more likely to listen to my stance and have open good-faith discussions about the nuances of the issues.
    The only big thing I feel like men have that I had to give up was the brotherhood close guy friends can build. I'm a vet (Marines), and I had that close bond with my brothers I served with. When I transitioned they didn't see me the same and they all pushed me away. It's easier for me to make friends now, but it's not the same with girls... I used to trust that if life got crazy and everything fell apart, you could turn to your brothers to watch your 6 no matter how dangerous. There isn't anything quite like that for women as far as I've seen, sadly.

    • @lexabaldwin3122
      @lexabaldwin3122 3 ปีที่แล้ว +23

      @Michael Dinneweth a lot of it really just comes down to the guy... the ones who talk over me usually either don't realize that they're doing it or else they do it because they're insecure. A few guys really are what the radfems blow the whistle about, but most are just good guys who don't mean anything by it
      I think a lot of the girls who complain about 'mansplaining' really just don't get the way guys talk; it's not like how us gals talk where there's a lot more give-and-take with us cueing from each other, with guy style communication it's a lot more staccato and direct where if someone has something to say they have to interject it. I think a lot of the girls who think that they're being talked over just are trying to talk girl-style in a guy style conversation and they don't know that they have to be more assertive to get their point out.
      I do consider myself a feminist because there are some places where inequality does exist, especially the third world, but the radicals really give us a bad wrap by attacking men over misunderstandings like that. They have to accept the ways men are different and learn that that's a good thing ... hell, that's what diversity is all about, haha!

      @lexabaldwin3122 3 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      @Michael Dinneweth I don't think you're sexist/misogynistic/old-fashioned at all :)
      It's true, a small portion of the trans community takes an extreme version of the narrative and tries to re-shape society with it. There are a few people (some trans, some not) that believe gender is 100% socially constructed or that there are infinite genders... but really most trans people, myself included, just want to live a normal life in a normal society doing normal things. It's just that the extreme faction gets more of the spotlight because they deliberately refuse to blend in. For most of human history, trans people (when we weren't being killed) just tried our best to go unseen and unnoticed. For most of us, that's still the goal. The way trans women like myself see ourselves is that we're women who just happened to be born with a body that didn't match our female brains. If what the fringe was saying was true and that "gender is socially constructed", trans people wouldn't really exist because it wouldn't make sense to have a female brain in a male body if male and female were made up. Most trans people are quite aware of the fact that sex and gender exist, but we're stuck with those activists trying to argue us out of existence. From my point of view, they hurt a helluva lot more than they help anyone :/
      Just know that for every 1 activist there are 50 trans people like me who are just normal folks. It might seem like that's all I've been talking about here, but that's just because that's what this thread is about. Being trans is just a tiny part of my life, and outside of internet-land, my identity is shaped around things far more meaningful to me: I'm a USMC vet, Biomedical Engineering student, and a gun-loving red-blooded American. I just happened to have been born trans, but it's only a tiny part of who I am as a woman :)
      There are some cases where activism could help... like the murder and harassment rate of trans people as well as the hurdles to accessing basic health care, so I don't know why the activists don't focus on that instead of picking on well-intentioned good people and "cancelling" random people on Twitter.
      When all's said and done, the best thing is for people on both sides to talk through the issue. Most of the problems in our world these days come from the left and the right not having good faith discussions and trying to learn what the other side believes. We all have waaaay more in common with each other than most people realize and we all just want what's best for our society, we all just see things slightly differently, and having a healthy assortment of viewpoints come together with a shared focus on doing good is how we can make a strong and healthy society.
      Edit: I forgot to mention: I wish you a healthy and happy 2021 too!!

    One of the biggest times that I’ve really hated just being a man, was trying to get into university. We went around to different universities and all of them had all these programs for women and catered a lot to them. When it came to awards and scholarships. They had many awards specifically for women but no men’s only awards. Scholarships and reimburses were no different. They gave us a pamphlet with all of them in it and just under half of them were for women only. When it came time for their presentations. They all said that women and minorities had first dibs. My marks unfortunately were a bit lower than they usually were for me because of different health problems and what not. So I didn’t get in, but I knew guys that had 94%+ averages which were way above the minimum to get in. Yet they still almost didn’t get in. Then once they got in. They found out that some of the female students got in way before them with 70-80% averages

    I was talking with my mom (a woman grewed in the 60/70ies, when femminism arised in the mass culture), and i said that women are better than man (thanks to the mass media brainwash, who represent men like beasts and women like angels).
    She stared at me, with a very serious expresion, and she said "Men and Women can be both good and bad, but they are good only if they collaborate harmoniously with each other".

      You know its rather sad how many people can't see that simple fact these days, Uomo. My mother once told me she was the same way in her youth. She was tough and hated men because she lived in a sorority and saw many of her female friends get used. She also grew up in Detroit around the time that it went to crap and was sexually harassed constantly in high school. Her hatred remained into her college years. However, one day while she was ranting, a male student turned to her and said the simplest thing, "You know...we aren't all that way." For some reason, that quick comment woke her up. She started to give men a chance again and see them as people. She's been married to my dad for over 40 years now and is the textbook definition of a loving and kind mother. While they have had their ups and downs, their teamwork has gotten them through everything life has thrown at them.
      Yes finding a mate is a minefield, but surely there have to be some good people out there, looking for other good people.

A group of living beings can repopulate so long as one male survives and plenty of females survive, but the opposite cannot happen, as if only one female survives in a group full of males, best case scenario the population will not grow enough to survive, and at the worse, the males will fight one another until one male remains. Being a man is painful.. we get blamed for everything. A woman can say "all men are the same" and their claims get backed up, while a man that says "all women are the same" get trash talked and told to "man up" we get told our feelings don't matter, we're expected to wait on a woman hand and foot and if we don't we're told "we're selfish and don't care about a woman's needs" if we're reserved and closed off, we're told we need to be more open about our feelings but if we're "too" open about our feelings we're told to "stop being a baby". Even when it comes to children, a woman could be a horrible mother, could constantly beat and abuse their kids and nobody bats an eye but a dad yells at his kids and everyone loses their shit. Even in court, the MALE judge will side with the mother. Even if the father is the SOLE PROVIDER.

It's hard to say the West is becoming increasingly misandrist when there hasn't even been a female president in the US (this doesn't mean the West is misogynistic either). Men and women are privileged in different ways. Patriarchy has historically created problems for men (e.g. men can't express their emotions), matriarchy will create problems for women too. I have always thought about men's rights equally to woman's rights and that's why I was never a feminist because it seemed too separatist!! Also, I lived for years experiencing gender dysphoria when I was younger and always wanted to be feeling closer to myself as a naturally born woman, but always felt many woman were extremely judgmental, rude and impatient with men, even those closest to them. This made me value becoming a woman who cares about men equally as we should woman and I wish to pass that on to future generations!
