    Really interesting. I'd say the bike held up great after 3 years. Thanks for posting.

    I've got over 4,000 miles on my XP in 10 months, still going strong, changed tires, upgraded brakes, added suspension seatpost. I'm 215 lbs, and have a bike rack trunk bag loaded with gear, more weight. I ride daily for exercise.

      Dang 4000 ! How is your battery? I have 1250 and thought I was doing a lot of miles.

      @@mmd6708 using an after market 14Ah battery with about 3,000 miles on it, it's showing a little voltage sag, but still hanging in there!

    Thank You this is good information. I am a life long biker. Run that back tire till it's smooth if you want too. WD 40 is a cleaning agent. Chain lube is better for the chain. Ride safe everyone.

      I use dry chain lube. WD 40 is bad for chain because dirt sticks to it a makes chain go bad faster.

    I replaced my rear tire. It was only slightly more involved than the front. One trick is to use a white paint pen to mark the side of the connector before unplugging it. I also took a lot of pictures while disassembling. The work is best done with the bike up-side-down.

    Good job on the 2K, 3K, and 4K mileage of the OP and the commenters. I'm at 1K and so pleased with my bike. Nearly 11 months of riding. Two rear tubes, one set of brakes, and one nasty spill at 20mph is my history. Bike serves as my car 98% of my week. 👍

    Swap the 2 tires front to rear and you will get over 5000 mile on the set. It is so easy to change the tires out. I have had my rear wheel off a few times, to change the freewheel, to add tire liners and a 3rd time to put street tires on it. So easy to do yourself.

      What street tire did you go with?

      @@only1gumpy941 I have the Vee Tire Speedsters. Love then so far. Very quiet and smooth compared to the stock tires.

    WD 40 is not a good lubricant for chains, there are better products out there. Well done thorough review, thank you.

    Was it mentioned how many miles have been put on the bike?

      @@xiangdongluo9361 wow that’s impressive battery performance then, tries as well, perhaps by keeping them at a pretty pressure I wonder... thanks for sharing!

    Can't really tell at what state your battery is if you look at voltage. To know how much battery is still left you would need a charger/analyzer so you know how many ah your charger is able to pump into battery.
    Also dont use WD 40 on your chain

  • @HackHunter1835
    @HackHunter1835 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You pulled the charger plug out of the battery BEFORE unplugging it from the wall. Thats a no no in the ebike world.

      This was true years ago. New controller have chip designed to prevent current spike if battery is plugged first. I wouldn’t worry about it
