Negligence? This kid needs her own parents 2 constantly supervise this liability jerry
Is she going to be ok? Expected to make a full recovery? They left out the most important part of this story
perhaps drop a ski glove to confirm placement .. regardless, there shouldn’t be any blame when the guest let go too soon for the crew to position
Hope she recovers soon
I love how they stopped the lift like go forward or back to get to a lower drop! Every person should have a seat belt!
having seatbelts on a chairlifts is the stupidest thing you could've said
Tell me you haven't been on a ski lift without telling me you haven't been on a ski lift
@@rosie684 I snowboard so yeah I've been on a lift no seat belt tho I guess I'm an adult in my thinking lol
@@1234crevis I'm 40 and have been boarding for 25yrs. I'd never deal with a seat belt on a lift. There'd be more accidents with them as people would be taking them off last minute and tripping more. Or forget they're even on and try to jump off at the top and get tangled up. Not to mention skiers trying to hold their poles and fiddle with a seat belt or the belt getting wrapped around the pole.
@@rosie684 yo its just a thought chill lol and anyone that rides on a lift for 10 mins could put a seat belt on then have an auto system that releases the seat belt so u don't have to. Its 2024 not 1950s so things change. Lol
l hope she full recovery ❤️🩹
so maybe they need a better net.
maybe a larger radius one with a air bag type deployment system under it to help.
This happens so frequently I don’t know how this is on the news as “news”
I saw the net clipped. Facial injuries aren’t good !
Also how does anybody slip out of the seat like that
Maybe it was rainy outside, and the seat was wet 🤔 almost happened to me…
First find out why she was hanging and not seated properly. Was it the lift speed or something else? Then schedule optometrist appointments for the rescue team.
Hundreds of other people got onto the lift just fine. She didn't use the safety bar. Her fault.
That sounds like a plausible explanation. @@cvn6555
She was tiktoking her and her friends playing musical chairs.
This reminds me of Frozen movie where 3 friends stranded inside the cable car few feet from the ground and the only option they have is to jump
I recently saw this movie. If it was the same "frozen", the jump of approximately 30 feet resulted in a compound fracture. Then the guy was eaten alive by the wolves. A nasty way to go. At least one of the three made it out.
They vould have updated her condition in this report.
WE NEED ANY AND ALL UPDATES
No u dont this jerry story is lame
That is awful .
They didn’t align the net properly with where she was. Hope she recovers and is back to optimal health in no time .
Being capable of performing just 1 pull-up could’ve probably prevented this
+all the weight of that gear is heavier than you would think
The chair she was on wouldn’t have been hanging steady and she’s probably wearing heavy winter gear.
You've never touched a ski or snowboard in your life lmfao.
LOL 😂, ever watch movies where people seem to be able to hang onto a ledge or pipe or a arm of someone? That's all movie make believe. Most people don't have any strength to hang on. Yea, a pull up wearing heaving ski clothes and a snowboard hanging off your foot.
@@plowe6751 I am at an intermediate level as a woman who's been weightlifting for 5 years, and despite this, I still cannot do a single pull up lol!
It wasn’t a net, that was a piece of snow fence.
