    Hey Jordan, tks for the video!
    Maybe if you keep the screen during your explanation will be less distractive than changing to the camera
    just and impression I had

    Hey, what is the need for the black magic RAW software? What is it doing here that Premiere on it's own won't do? Thanks!

    When you imported the footage, it wasn't all washed out like B Raw footage normally is. Why is that?

      Hello, premiere has some options that automatically convert to rec 709 and things like that, to make it easier to view, I don't particularly like these automatic options, but they exist.

    Greetings!!! I appreciate your great time and efforts put towards enlightening us about this career. Thank you for that I sincerely appreciate it. Please I have a request. What’s the possibilities of importing the custom luts from Blackmagic pocket cinema 4k to adobe premiere pro? Like the Gen 5 Film to rec 2020 hybrid log gamma. I love the way it handles a dark skin here in Africa. Or better still if you will be kind enough to share me your conversion luts for film to reasonable color to start with. I’m not a colorist but own a Blackmagic pocket cinema 4k. Please help.

    You put the 6k footage in a 4k sequence but doesn't require MORE processing power because now your computer is resizing AND coloring AND playing back?

    • @jordanvp
      @jordanvp  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I don’t know why it’s operating that way, but i definitely notice a large difference between the playback of a 4K and a 6K sequence.

    What do you use for the noise? Like what do you use for as a noice reduction?
    About the colour shifting after the export, it haven't happend to me anymore since a year ago, so I wonder why you still have that problem 🤔

    • @jordanvp
      @jordanvp  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t do anything for noise reduction actually…and I haven’t really even tried to fix the color shift haha…I just make adjustments that I know will get it close enough.

      @@jordanvp Hi guys - a fix for the colour shift on export is to add the ASC CDL effect to an adjustment layer over your video just before export - Change the Red Power, Green Power and Blue Power to 1.09 in that effect and that should leave you with export colour that matches in Prem. Hope that's useful

      Awesome thank you I’m definitely going to try that!

    Bro excelent video got one question it doesn’t show me the pption to change iso its like faded

    • @jordanvp
      @jordanvp  ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you positive you were shooting in BRAW? It's been quite a while since I've used premiere so I'm not sure if I remember correctly, but there may be a spot where you can select to change the color settings or use the default BM settings in which case it won't allow you to adjust ISO.

    Client sent me tons of BRAW files. I'm able to open them in premiere but I'm not getting the Blackmagic Raw effect under effect controls.

    • @jordanvp
      @jordanvp  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Just confirming, you’ve downloaded the premiere pro plugin from the blackmagic website?

    • @MikePetersen-e7t
      @MikePetersen-e7t 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@jordanvp Thanks for replying. I downloaded both BRAW Studio version 3.?.? (unpaid) and Blackmagic Raw 4.0

    • @jordanvp
      @jordanvp  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So when you insert the clip into the sequence in premiere, go to the Effects Controls tab and then navigate to the Source tab inside the effects controls, are you seeing all the BRAW controls there? They will likely start off as inactive until you change from "camera metadata" to "clip."

    How do you get your footage to show up like that in premiere right away? (With some contrast, color etc.) When I import my BMPCC 6K Pro raw I can only see it as flat log footage at first.

    • @jordanvp
      @jordanvp  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It will show up like that if you’re shooting in “video” or “extended video” mode inside the camera. If you’re shooting in “film” look it will load the flat log footage and then you’ll have to adjust in post.

      @@jordanvp Ah, that’s where I went wrong. I was shooting in Film mode and using the extended video LUT preview in camera. Thanks for your fast reply 🙏

      @@jordanvp When shooting in “video” or “extended video”, does it BAKE the look into the footage?

    • @jordanvp
      @jordanvp  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      As long as you’re shooting in Raw it doesn’t bake the look into the footage. If you’re shooting prores it will!

    Might be worth putting the software in the title - I came here thinking you would be using Davinci
