I am getting five beep error when driving over a metal threshold or sometimes exiting an elevator over the metal edges on the floor or using a metal ramp on a bus. Is that crazy? What could cause this? And how to fix?

Hey guys, thanks for this awesome video. I have a question if you don't mind. I have a Pride Go-Go Elite Traveller Plus scooter that I let my friend borrow. When she returned it, I turned it on, it had full battery meter, but the batter meter would go down about half way as I was riding it. It then gave me 2 beeps. I believe it also gave me 3 beeps shortly after, but I'm not sure. I looked up the codes and it says it's low voltage (2 beeps) or high voltage (3 beeps). Low voltage is simple, just charge the battery, high voltage is 'take to the dealer'. Now, the battery meter was reading full charge or almost full charge when started. It rode, but also when riding, the battery meter would drop down to about half charge as I was riding it. The battery meter would return when I stopped. I charged the battery to full and it seems to have fixed it, I don't get those beeps anymore, and I tried go up a hill, down a hill, over some bumps, etc. Just curious what you think it might have been. Was it just a low battery even though the meter read full or plenty of charge? Thanks.
After battery is fully charged, scooter will go quite a ways… as soon as the meter drops to the first yellow line, i get the 2 beeps for battery low. We own 3 scooters and only one won’t run the battery all the way down. Bad battery?

What kind of batteries did you use? Are they sealed lead acid gel? If you went to Walmart and bought batteries that are made for lawn mowers those will not work.
Try to remove the key first and push the manual freewheel lever to the drive position before restarting your scooter. If that didn't work, you might want to check with the dealer where you got the scooter from for assistance. Thanks for watching our video and commenting. We appreciate the support.
One of my wheels wont move at all even when the scooter is in neutral, one wheel spins the other is locked stiff, also the scooter also beeps 5 times even when the scooter brake is locked and isnt in neutral
It's best to start with the new battery packs. Making sure they are charged properly the first time and checked. After that, while it depends on each scooter, making sure you check the connection of the battery to the scooter is also one thing you can check. Some batteries uses cables to properly attach them to the scooter while some just needs to be inserted in the battery case. If you still encounter issues after all these and you've made sure that the batteries are good after testing them, then it's best to get your mobility scooter checked.

Start by checking the batteries, then the connections from the battery to the controller. You need to use a multi meter. Check out our repair playlist. We have tons of repair guides. th-cam.com/play/PLok6xyAR_1MauXutYV4eVK7tz4flXaUYu.html
Trace the power to the controller. Do you have a voltage meter? You should be getting 24 volts at the black and red connectors that connects to the controller.
You can refer to the manual for the beep code but it's possible that the freewheel lever may be in the freewheel position. To remedy this situation follow the instructions below: 1. Remove the Key. 2. Push the manual freewheel lever to the drive position. 3. Restart your scooter. Thanks for watching. We appreciate the support.

You're welcome! Thanks for watching :)
my scooter is charged but it keeps stopping then beeping?? its like every 5 minutes!! driving me crazy and im getting stressed ive tried turning it in and off taking key out pressing reset taking battery pack out and putting it back! please could you help?
Start taking it apart, check all the connections, you might have a connector that is loose. When was the last time you changed batteries?
Mine does a 5 beep and I switch the brake lever but nothing still happens. What else can I do?
You may need to replace the brake lever sensor.
Victory 9 full battery no beeps not moving and it's in drive
Is the blue light on the battery meter flashing when you turn it on?
@@MobilityDirect and yes blue light and full charge lights lit did it before sat a few days then went
How many times does the blue light on the battery meter flash?
@@MobilityDirect 9 times
That's a undefined error code, you need to take it to a technician. Check page 37: www.mobilityscootersdirect.com/pdf/pride-mobility-victory-9-user-manual.pdf
My diagnostic ticket light stays on and battery drains quick even though had new batteeries
Not ticket
What kind of batteries did you use? Are they sealed lead acid gel? If you went to Walmart and bought batteries that are made for lawn mowers those will not work.
No I bought decent batteries off a scooter engineer
My scooter is giving me Seven beeps it will start and go then stop and then won't turn on any more what should I do
What is the make and model? Have you checked for the user manual beep code reference sheet?
Thank u

My scooter is not going foreward its beeping 5 times, I did what the manual said to do and it will not get in gear.
Try to remove the key first and push the manual freewheel lever to the drive position before restarting your scooter. If that didn't work, you might want to check with the dealer where you got the scooter from for assistance. Thanks for watching our video and commenting. We appreciate the support.
my scotter has 5 beeps did what the manuel said cant stop the beeps and wont run
Did you try putting the yellow lever in the drive position?
Thanks , I'm getting the 5 beep error. It think it is in the brake contact cause the gear is engaged. Thank you very much.
It could be the sensor going bad for the brake lever.
One of my wheels wont move at all even when the scooter is in neutral, one wheel spins the other is locked stiff, also the scooter also beeps 5 times even when the scooter brake is locked and isnt in neutral
I would suggest calling the dealer/place you bought it from, might need a fix or two.
What if you just got a brand new battery pack and the scooter isn't holding a charge?
It's best to start with the new battery packs. Making sure they are charged properly the first time and checked. After that, while it depends on each scooter, making sure you check the connection of the battery to the scooter is also one thing you can check. Some batteries uses cables to properly attach them to the scooter while some just needs to be inserted in the battery case. If you still encounter issues after all these and you've made sure that the batteries are good after testing them, then it's best to get your mobility scooter checked.
My daughter’s scooter will not charge and it is new.

My blue power light flashes. No beeps wth
That should be a flash code, count the number of flashes and refer to your user manual!
my scooter been charged for 2days and it didn't even charge and it's on yellow
How long have you had the batteries? It might be time for a replacement!
My mom's scooter beeps 9 times, isn't in neutral, we changed brand new batteries yesterday and still beeping, not moving at all. HELP! IS A pride gogo sport
It's time for a technician.
9 beeps after I road it than charged 😢 now I get 9 beeps, I checked everything and oh boy😢
If the manual doesn't help you resolve the issue as it usually does, then it's time to get it checked. Thanks for watching our video and commenting! We appreciate the support.
My Pride Victory 9 doesn’t change the lights never move, it’s always green no matter how far I go
The battery meter is probably bad, as you drive it for miles, the battery meter lights should turn off one at a time.
My scooter will move when charger is plugged in unplug charger nothing
You'll probably need to have your batteries checked. The video below might help:

Beeping. When I hit bumps??
Its most likely a loose connection somewhere, I would check out our breakdown videos to learn how to take apart your scooter and check for any loose connections.
@@MobilityDirect thank you
It won't even light up
Start by checking the batteries, then the connections from the battery to the controller. You need to use a multi meter. Check out our repair playlist. We have tons of repair guides. th-cam.com/play/PLok6xyAR_1MauXutYV4eVK7tz4flXaUYu.html
My victory the throttle is stuck on low
My batteries have power but no beeps or lights come on. Pride victory 10
Trace the power to the controller. Do you have a voltage meter? You should be getting 24 volts at the black and red connectors that connects to the controller.
I got 5 beeps
You can refer to the manual for the beep code but it's possible that the freewheel lever may be in the freewheel position. To remedy this situation follow the instructions below:
1. Remove the Key.
2. Push the manual freewheel lever to the drive position.
3. Restart your scooter.

Surprise Ryobi it's just like the blue when he was working on the same time
Thanks for your comment, hopefully this video was helpful for you.
I am getting 5 beeps on the go go ultra x. Then getting 6 beeps. I have the 5 beep figured out thanks to your video How can I fix the throttle? Scooter goes 1 foot rhen atops then will go another foit and stop. Ugh
Thanks for watching our video and commenting. Try releasing the throttle control lever completely and reinsert the key to your scooterr. If that did not work, we do have a tear-down guide that can help you make sure that the throttle is at center position which is also a fix to the beep code that you're getting. If you're unsure, we recommend getting a technician to check it out for you instead.
