    Back in the 1800’s when I was your age... lol... My family and friends thought I was a weirdo because I loved rock hounding, searching for artifacts and looking for old bottles. From one weirdo to another, it’s nice hanging out with you Kyle 👍🏻

    That amber bottle, Oakland Chemical Company, 1880's to 1930's manufactured Dioxygen, which is Hydrogen Peroxide. Was in the New York City region. L.T. Piver is a perfume house, started in 1774 in Paris. That bottle you found would have had a glass stopper.

    Great job. ✌❤☺🙏

    Hi, I really enjoy the bottle videos! My brother uses a butane mosquito repeller when he is outside. You may want to look into it. It gives up to 15 feet of protection from mosquitoes. It's not a spray, just a cartridge you can strap to your bag.

    Take your canoe & fill it with as much crap as you can, plastics, metal, etc. Living on the West coast, we too have our, uncaring hoard that leave the evidence of their addictions. Creek cleaners here take a sealed plastic container, & rubber gloves for this problem.
    In Britain, what you do is called "mudlarking"....I highly recommend 2 channels on it...1st "Northern Mudlarks" & 2nd "Tom Burleigh". I am quite certain you will enjoy both. Tom is quite vocal on what people do the environment. Thanks for taking me on your adventures. ❤️🇨🇦❤️

    WHERE can I find old dump sites around here in Brunswick, GA???? We have such old history. I’ve found ONE broken piece of aqua glass with INC embossed on it...just barely the bottom half of a bottle - orob late 1890’s-1900. I AM SO JEALOUS & happy for you! We just finally found our first Meg...took 2 years of just surface hunting hahaha. This is on my bucket list for sure. Guess I’ll have to start actually digging. I’ve been going nuts collecting old glass to try and make glass beads for jewelry! The Northern Mudlarks have a great channel and got me started on the bottles and beads, like you did with the fossils! Keep it up 👍

    • @WILDKYLE
      @WILDKYLE  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Congrats for your first Meg tooth that's awesome! If there are any shallow creeks that run through historic towns in your area they are definitely worth checking! I've even heard that you can find bottles sticking out of the mud in tidal creeks at low tide if you're in a historic area!

    Dioxygen = H2O2 = Peroxide (if you did not look it up). The ceramic piece for Cameron and Cameron Turkish blend was for holding matches (possibly sticking up in the middle of an ashtray (commonly given out as promotional advertisements). But you probably know all that by now. Nice poison bottle. I love the blue color! I have a Mermaid cigar ashtray from the Early 1900s given as a promotional advertisement. Thanks for another creek adventure, Kyle. Love watching!

    Hey kyle love the video ,i went back through and binge watch most of your channel lol , question what was your most memorable find ever treasure hunting for me it was finding a large a rather large piece of melted glass in a old burned out factory the windows of the building melted down into a rather beautiful piece of treasure

    That all glass is called river glass or Seaglass and a lot of the people who make beadwork and artwork out of old Seaglass would really like some of those old finds the broken stuff

    Kyle, here is an idea. Go on geocaching.com and host a CITO Event (Cache In Trash Out). Other folk will show up and help clean up an area(For Free). That would make for a pretty sweet video.

    Living near a swamp all my young life I to saw swamp baby's footprints. I learned how to make them and confused people trying to catch those sweet creatures. Too bad they had long fangs and fingernails. That never helped them to make friends.

    It wasn't just creeks where they dumped their garbage. They often used sinkholes and caves as landfills.
