Hi...it’s a great idea to save your plant from dying
But let me add to it that when you find such symptoms ,gently remove all the dead yellow leaves and see it till the point it’s wilted ,after that remove that part and let it dry for a day or two.Once it’s completely dry you can place it in soil and water .It will again start rooting and you be able to save your plant
You're right. This one died. Thank you for the tip my friend ☺️
Thank goodness i read ur comment ..was just going to repot..now left in sun for drying..will repot after 1 - 2 days ...many thanks
I too did d same process but d result is negative. Trying to save d leaves. Drying them in shade for propagation in water. Hope for d best👍👍

It can be propagated by pups that you can find after a long time of having the plant or with leaf cuttings
Nice information. Tq

Thanku was helpful my snake plant had rotten
Awesome
Great 👍,but Why do all the leaves of snake plant rot every time I multiply them? What are your tips in detail?
What growing medium??
Hi... I noticed that there was too much water in my snake and tried to repot it. But most of the roots had rotten away, with just 5-6 hair like tiny roots still stuck to the plant. No leaves of the plant had any rot. So I put it in a pot with alot of sand. Now I notice that many leaves of the plant are actually drooping (not rotted or mushy though, more like wilting) badly and kind of disfigured. I haven't been watering it alot, but when I feel the soil is too dry, I do water it. Any tips?
I guess it has transplantation shock whihc is temporary please add compost to the potting mix. Just sand makes the soil poor
@@Urbanscapegardening The soil had Mid, sand and compost. With more of sand. The edges of the leaves are slightly folding outward. Hopefully, it is transplantation shock and it recovers. It's one of the first plants I got. So fingers crossed 🤞
It will recover
Sir kindly advise the frequency to water the snake plant after removing the rotten parts. I have removed the rotten parts, washed and put some fungicide powder for now and left it to dry
Water maybe after three days
Regarding watering .Please tell after how many days giving water. Can I keep these Plants fully shadey area.
Keep the plant where it gets at least 4 hrs of indirect sunlight for better growth. For watering tips watch this.
th-cam.com/video/agDEPx7yCzk/w-d-xo.html
Water it on every 15 days and keep it in a semi shaded area it means not the direct sun but a bright light area
I am not a professional gardener but a learner I might think it will help you to save your snake plant
Sir my plants leaves r totally healthy but they r loose from the stem . Is it a disease or over watering .
Yes it's rotting
I have same problem as shown in the video so I actually tried same thing but there is no new coming or any sign growing so what to do now???
Can I put them in water??
It's winter season so it's affecting on ???
Don't put it in water please. Gardening needs patience if you see new plants coming then you are successful
It's a hard plant it needs more time to grow wait until it grow donot ovee water it
Thanks for your like. It's my pleasure.
You're welcome
My plant top crown have some infection, so I removed before spreading, will it grow back...as top of plant is removed from where leaf come out ..Please help me
Yes it could if u look after the watering
@@Urbanscapegardening thanks bro.. can I send you picture of plant in your insta dm 🙂
Sir I found some round patch on my snake plant. What should I do now. Please help me.I want to save my plant.
Pic please. On insta or email
Hello, thanks for sharing
You're welcome 😊
I had my plants in bathroom...and the soil was absolute dry and I checked with finger in the deep too but still my plant got rotten roots...what can be the reason?
Bathrooms can be too humid if the sunlight isn't appropriate
Sanseveria is not for bathroom
u can go for ferns which loves humidity
Hello, Sir, your videos are always worth watching, beneficial. My Sansevieria has drooped its leaves. I forgot to shift it from direct sunlight. Should I check the water problem in it? Or place it in indirect sunlight?
Place it in indirect sun and water if it looks parched
indebted for your prompt reply. In the morning will do this thing first.
Great
When will you update bro?
It did not work out . I have updated in this video th-cam.com/video/SmvEwuywQcI/w-d-xo.html
Do i have to dry the sansevieria before repotting ?
You could do that as well
@@Urbanscapegardening or i could directly repot it ..my sanse had rotten roots .
Yes but don't water for some time
It's rot/die of infection my friend..sansevieria or snake plant could live inside water.
It's rots when in soil with overwatering....it's like comparing apples and oranges...the mediums are different
@@Urbanscapegardening I am just started my baby snake plant water propagation, would see what will happened later, and thanks for sharing
You're welcome 😁🙂
Snake plant have zero roots...what we have do
Propagate through leaves
@@Urbanscapegardening but 2 leaf already have but base has no roots .....he growing in water to grow roots
Please update the growth !
Unfortunately this one died
@@Urbanscapegardening What was the cause for its death? Was the procedure unsuccessful or was there another cause? Thank you!
There was heavy rain and the rot only increased...so it would be better u don't water the plant for atleast a week after repotttinf
No entendí ni papa
