SO this video is your opinion based on the B.S. these websites say about their brakes and with NO physically testing of your own ? A few listed here I am sure are great pads, like the powerstop evolution, I have the extreme z26 on my Stinger and they're great but this video is worthless without any test result details being part of your selection. one to ten, was that an order of some kind, or just random order ? Was hawk or ebc considered or Rc1 ?

EXACTLY. I've watched a dozen of these kind of videos and they NEVER mention Hawk. I never ever had any issues with the HPS version and I have used them on maybe a dozen of my own cars so far.

You seem to like ceramic pads.
I always buy semi-metallic with Edge Code FF.
I don’t pay much attention to brand.
Decades ago I occasionally found shoes that literally scoured into the drums. There was an extreme scouring sound. I liked those. Haven’t seen pads or shoes like that for decades.
Now that they are prohibited from putting copper into friction materials I assume semi-metallic friction materials will have lower performance.
If I’m buying aftermarket pads or shoes, I buy them locally because edge code is seldom listed in the specification when shopping online. I have to look at the Edge Code on the brakes in the Auto Parts store. Pads/shoes are required to have Edge Code printed on them by Federal Law.
Often the cheaper pads/shoes are the ones with FF Edge Code that I want. Often the “premium” pads/shoes only have Edge Code FE.
