Speaking of the team moving on, I really hope they have the gal who's been doing such a great job on these DLC dinos for designs on the base game of JWE3.
I hope she'll redesign the Mamenchisaurus and Diplodocus based on their Legacy figures. Not to mention the Carcharodontosaurus. I was fine with it, but now I'd like something similar to its awesome look in Prehistoric Kingdom. I propose they'd use the old Giga look like a template for the Carcharo, kind of like the Operation Genesis look.

This is the Jurassic Park franchise after all, we want something that’s accurate and looks cool (so we’ll have to live with the spinosaurus with the rest of our lives, which I’m not that bothered by)
The only nitpick I have with the kelp is I wish they had added a wavy effect to the leaves, they look oddly stiff and still despite being underwater. But I LOVE the new land version of the spotlights, will definitely be using these to highlight decor like statues, fountains, skeletons, etc.
Oh I really like the way they did the hitboxes on the kelp! A very clever way to let us get some really dense kelp forests. This is such a big thing for the lagoons. And those spotlights are great! Not a huge free update, but definitely some great new additions! They really will make a difference while building.
I think something that would be great for Jurassic world evolution 3 is the edition of small and large Averie’s because the quetz looks ridiculous in a normal averie and you can barely see the Jeholopterus in a normal Averie, also when I say large Averie, I mean like the Jurassic world Averie size
Shame the aviaries haven't gotten as much love as the lagoons lately. I'm guessing they really can't improve much about them without sweeping changes to pterosaur AI, which could be a reason for Evolution 3 getting made?
Just greediness, it wouldn't be hard to add new perches or new feeders (proven by jeholopterus), they just decide they didn't want to do it Also lagoons were so bare when they released, the minimum they could do is add more content to them

How do you get specific skins to be put on the same bay dinos, like the rexes, you had big eatie and little eatie. I can't seem to figure it out on how to get them on the dinosaurs without it just being either all the same skin or having to pick random favorite and hope for RNG
Not anything to big. Still wish we had some quality of life updates such as more herding,pterosaurs walking,sauropods defending themselves, etc. But I know I'm going to enjoy this DLC and the free update
Just wish they gave sauropods the ability to fight back, that's all I would still need in this game, but if they're saving that for JWE3 then I can understand why they wouldn't add it anymore to JWE2
Hope it not the last dlc considering we have a marine and predator pack I hope we get 2 more dlc for the herbivore and flyer cause it make sense to do pack for the 4 group and hopefully get small good updates for them game with dlc aswell cause if they did a flyers pack it could be a good opportunity to make the pterosaur walk and more animation. Here what I think what would could be add to a flyers or herbivore pack. Flyers pack 1. Thalassodromeus 2. Pterodaustro 3. Microraptor 4. Rhamphorhynchus Herbivore pack (cretaceous) 1.Argentinosaurus 2.Ornithomimus 3.Shantungosaurus 4.Hypsilophodon

Does anybody know a fix for a visual Bug. My lagoon water is full of squares. Its like you can see the sharp edges from the squares on the water surface. Anyone else have this?
Or.. there are other factors at play like the game’s lifespan coming to an end and the possibility of a third JWE game being currently developed. Try not to be ignorant.

it looks like after the cretaceous predator dlc frontier actually stopped giving jwe2 big updates and saves resources for jwe3.
yeah, luckily though update 8 is objectively the best free update we got

The kelp could have been made to be a bit more wavy and fluid, but it is still very much appreciated.
Are those lagoon rock arch ways part of a mod or in an update?
I wish they’d make it to where we can define the shapes and depths of the lagoon and aviary instead of a bunch of large static models
