I haven't consciously dropped any groups, but I've def found myself like "Oh, they did this video/ released this song, album, etc.... I'll watch it later" and then I never do lmao
I Also Do This First I Used To Get Excited Whenever Bts Announce Their Group And Solo Comeback But Now I Watch Their MV After Weeks Or Month After Release No Hate To Bts I Still Like Bts
i think it’s okay to lose interest in things/people without having a reason or making it a big deal, especially if something else caught your interest. i go through phases occasionally but i still love and respect the things that i used to be obsessed with. and i find people who hate their phases or past selves more cringey than their interests cuz just why
Their music went in a direction I no longer vibed with. I never left the fandom, I’m just no longer hard stanning them. And tbh, I don’t have time to hard stan groups anymore because adulting is hard.
@@ChatiseE no they're not 😭😭 tried so hard to be smart and get a "well actually🤓☝️" moment but it just fell flat Edit: to add these artists are people u can go see in concert or other performances in the flesh. Nobody no named keyboard warriors are jobless and in most cases underage people who have nothing better to do with their time
@@ChatiseE exactly!! And also , the amount of fans coming out saying their experience with the group as well (not just BTS and BP) and overtime I just felt like their music is also very western and is more pop than K pop but that’s just my new opinion about them now.
@@icebear3561 where do u think pop, rnb, rap, edm, jazz, hiphop and other genres came from..... quickly. kpop has never been a genre, it's an INDUSTRY. in Korea they call it idol music because it's the groups from all these labels. IU, Heize, So!Yoon! From Se So Neon aren't kpop/idol music for example. Nothing about kpop is Korean except the language and even then songs have english lyrics or are full on in English. All of them are just Korean artists
It's not something you do consciously... It just happens... Maybe when it happens to you you'll know.... I can tell this because I'm going through this phase currently....
@ryuchic462 I get you, it's my own case 😊, it may be because it's actually difficult to me to actually get to stan a group, so when I get to stan a group, it's like , I really do,lol. Also it might be "lighter" for me to do it, as I don't fall into toxic stan stuff, you know? Like, I'm here for the music, but not forcing myself to stream or to obsessively buy merch or that stuff, which maybe makes stanning a funnier experience
I also tend to love one group wholeheartedly at a time too. For me, it's all about the music, if it continuously moves in a direction that I don't vibe with. The fandom itself can also play a part for me.
For me there is no "unstanning" or falling out of love with a group. I know pretty soon after getting to know a group whether it's something I'm going to love for the long haul. I may add groups or artists, but I'm never dropping any to do it. It's always been like this since I was a kid, I'm just a very loyal person by nature. I've been an ARMY for over 5 years now with no regrets. I just can't wait for them to done with their military service and go on tour again. I listen to other kpop acts casually but I'm only a diehard fan of BTS. And for me it would take a lot for me to just stop listening to them or following their activities.
I always had this feeling when I got a new fav singer. I thought that I'm falling out in love with the previous one, but no it was just exploring. I stan 4 artists and I love them all.
Ngl, I really did thought that this whole BTS craziness was gonna be just a thing of a few months. It’s been 4 years and my love is still the same and I don’t think it’s gonna be over, at least not until they disband. I’ve tried so heart to love other groups the same way but I just can’t.
That's what I thought too when I was an army (been an army since 2014 until 2021) I stopped because I was busy with my study and all of that plus I'm not interested in their music anymore, their old song is gold to me
@@koseungtak7640Everyone is different some people fall out really quick while some fall hard . I have been an army for 4 years now and i'm a person who don't easily fall out of things quick. Its definitely ok to fall out as well
I think when they change music direction. There's this group that there new releases doesn't hit home to me anymore and I only listen to their old releases a few times. It's just not the same anymore. The group and the fandom.
I used to Stan the boyz but something really personal happened regarding a few members and it’s just not the same anymore. Also I know this sounds bad, but to clarify the members are amazing. It’s me! I’m the problem! Also if I explained what happened no one and I mean no one will ever understand 😔
For me their music stopped sounding fresh and sounded like typical boy group music once they got popular. Nowadays I rarely listen to boy groups bc they all sound like their own version of NSYNC or Backstreet Boys lol
@@unknownuseronethousand6186 you’ll probably think it’s stupid and I’m overreacting, but the whole thing weirds me out. June of 2018 I came across this movie (won’t be naming lol) and it disturbed me, and because I’m the obsessive type it lived in my head rent free for about 2 years. Anyway, August of 2018 I started to get into the boyz. One member shares their name with a character from that movie, so anytime I would hear his name or see the member, I’d think of the movie and that character. So tell me why in May of 2020 this man (talking about the member) is cosplaying as this character??? It’s not like the movie is a blockbuster movie??? it’s a indie film who most people don’t even know about. SO WHY????????!!!!!!!!! I’m crazy I know 😭
- when too much drama in that group/fandom - when they release bad/cringe songs consecutively - when too much content is released that I feel like being forced-fed mouthful until stomach overfilled - when any of the members develop cringe persona/personality
this may not apply to a lot of you but for me, military enlistment for boy groups is a huge factor in this. first it happened with ONF back in the pandemic era when I had been a dedicated stan of theirs myself along with BTS, until the members enlistments in late 2021, to which during that period I discovered new groups that when I chose to reconnect with them it was not the same anymore as before (though I still consider myself a fan). and then when BTS members enlisted, it was the time when I had been a stan already of Zerobaseone but for this one it was my personal choice of not engaging with them (BTS) for the time being and shift my focus to Zerobaseone. dont get me wrong, I'm still a fan of both groups and I support them in all endeavors but I choose to challenge myself with this one (to give the new group a chance, while at the same time continue living my life) and it was very hard but I am in the process of re-adapting to the new group and it's looking good.
When their new releases continuously miss the mark for me, and the fandom pretends like nothing about their discography changed despite the mass exodus from the fandom.
It's different for everyone but personally I only fell in "love" with like three groups in all my years in kpop. BTS, my first love in that regard, Twice and lastly Itzy. I still love all three groups but obviously as kpop isn't my main focus in life I sometimes more and sometimes less invested in what they are doing. When it comes to other groups I like, I dont make a big deal out of it when I lose interest because it changes all the time. The thing is, there are way too many groups to keep being interested in all of them at the same time. To me, it doesnt even mean that I dont like them anymore. It's more like taking a break. I have phases. For example, last fall Seventeen was one of my top artists in my music app but this spring, they didnt show up at all. Does it mean I dont like Seventeen anymore? No.Tbey are great. I am just not as invested right now and in 2 months that might be different again.
Rather than falling out of love, I think my love from them has matured. Yes, I don’t get as excited when they do something and I don’t dedicate my time to reading about every little thing they do. But I still consume their content whenever something new comes out, and also the old that I really like. It’s like the difference between letting my obsession unhinged and caring for them but also living my own life. But for me, even if I have periods when I also really really like another group, I never stop loving my fav, I always come back to them.
its never really conscious for me tbh, i just find other things i'm interested in and they end up drawing more of my attention, i remember having this really long phase where i just fell head over heels for dreamcatcher during the pandemic, i was having a really hard time and i admittedly got really parasocial with them, constantly listening to their music and watching their content, i felt like i'd never stop loving them and they'd always be my ult group, odd eye was really the only time i actually followed a group's content and activities leading up to a comeback and it was a really cool experience, but sometime after that i just stopped, not because i actively stopped, but because other things started drawing my interest, by the time they came out with because, i was basically disconnected from them, i listened to the song because i still had love for them, but not to the extent that i felt the desire to start watching their content again, i just wasn't the same person that was obsessed with them anymore, and honestly at this point, their songs don't really hit the same for me anymore because now they just remind me of all the emotional hardships i was using them to cope from lol
My story. the group disband others are inactive. I still love them but not inlove. once I love a group and their songs its forever coz it becomes part of me. Hahah lol
I guess I could say finding another group whose music I liked way more is what made me shift fandoms. Until I finally found a group which already has soo many songs that I like. So now I’m confident that even if their new releases are not my taste i still have enough songs to listen to. That made me finalise my ult group and I still keep finding their old songs and getting addicted to them so I’m sure this group stays for a long time lol. Not to mention unlimited content..I could watch a lifetime and there will still be a video that I’ve not watched before.
I have the attention span of a goldfish, for me it’s out of sight out of mind, if I don’t hear/see about them every day I’ll probably forget they exist and then I remember like “oh yeah, I like this group” but the obsession has already been transferred to someone/something else, so if there’s a new video or new album I tell myself I’ll watch it/listen to it later but never do so I forget about it and then remember again and the cycle continues.
Not just for kpop but in all music, I tend to only love artists for a certain album or concept. I don’t keep up with everything artists release or do, I just float around watch whatever catches my attention. Even if it’s been 5 years I still consider myself a fan if I still love and listen to that album or song. There’s no dramatic break cuz I still love the music from the past, and now it’s nostalgic too. It doesn’t matter what they’re releasing now. But if they turn out to be an awful person and I have to boycott them then that’s when I’ll fall out of love and stop listening.
Multi staning probably. I used to love bts, but slowly I started going towards blackpink and slowly a lot of other groups. So I ended up not that interested in bts. I barely listen to their songs anymore. That, and another for me is slow comebacks or one's that don't really catch my interest. When blackpink released born pink, it felt awesome. And that was the moment I realised my love for the group. But it was too late. Before that, blackpink didn't really have any big comeback that was a bomb. Or sometimes, there are comebacks which aren't completely the best but some songs are nice. Like born to be by itzy.
I like a lot of groups But I only stan one group And that’s not going to change anytime soon Even though they have been inactive for a while I’m still very interested in all the members and will always jump at a chance to support them
Fandom was becoming so toxic and so intwined with everything about the group. Everything good was always spoiled by the fans which made it hard to enjoy. I tried to anchor down and ignore them but when I started listening to other groups with significantly less toxic fans I had the realization that I shouldn’t have to force myself to like a group, it should be easy.
I was a HUGE pre-debut Stan of Xikers and one day I just realized that I fell out of love with them as a Stan. I still support them when I can but I don’t think I could go back to stanning them the way I used to and I’m okay with that. I think it’s fine to move on from a group and fall in love with another.
BTS drove me crazy for years but then my bias Jin went to military 😭& then discovered ZB1💙...Jins back so am looking forward to his comeback & the Jebies meeting him soon!🌹💜
When I first became a kpop fan like 9 years ago, BTS and EXO were my ult groups. Then in 2018 when ATEEZ debuted I started to become a fan of them but I thought oh they're just going to be a group I stan not an ult group...... I became very obsessed with ATEEZ and constantly watching their content and less and less of BTS and EXO....nowadays I only consider ATEEZ my ult group. I don't really listen to my past ult groups as much as ATEEZ....maybe their old stuff occasionally and if they release new music I'll check it out but I don't have it on repeat for the most part like when ATEEZ release something. Lastly I saw ATEEZ in concert the only kpop group I saw live and that amplify my love for them ❤
@@user-vv7hc7kb5o well honestly all those three now have like songs that I wouldn’t say bad but just not my style of music i used to be the biggest army and obsessed with them but after butter i started to feel like their music wasn’t really good (in my opinion) but i would listen to their solos and same for new jeans their songs after omg just started Getting worse
@@Majtz7 You shouldn't really unstan Newjeans because of that, its not really the members fault but If you do not like they music that's with you and its fine, for me they are one of the most consistent groups in kpop in terms of songs, they all have the same vibe that you can tell is newjeans yet they don't rely on a song structure like Blackpink and that makes it very good for me at least. And I totally understand the other two, armies think its stupid to leave because of the fandom dont know how exausting and c-lt like their fandom is.... You cant point any flaws the members might have, If you say X group has better vocal consistency you're 'jealous' that your favs are not as good as BTS... I am an ex army, more than the fandom I also fell out of love because of their souless english releases. And about Itzy for me it went downhill after Not shy. Like Nah wth was Mafia in the morning? Itzy became kinda of a cringy group, shame I used to love them wannabe era, they peaked during Wannabe😭
As a person who stans more than 20 groups I have never fallen out of love with them or the fandom. I usually am so busy watching all their content and catching up on each comeback so I never get bored.
when I was bullied & harassed online by other “fans” of a group I really used to love. And also when the groups music is repetitive or the music simply doesn’t have that spark that I used to love.
Only time I actually "fell out of love" with a group was bc of how young they were/are, I use to watch my groups content and I could just "feel" how young they were/are and it just didnt feel "right" for me to stan(MCND)
I wouldn't say that I stopped loving the groups or that I un-stand them, but I just don't feel the same level of excitement as I did when I was in middle/high school. Back then a comeback felt like a whole event, from the moment it was announced, the release of concepts and teasers, the MV and album and all the live stages, to the end of their promotions. It was so much fun to participate in every step of the way. Now, it's like "oh, they're having a comeback how nice". I'll watch the MV and listen to the album and maybe watch some of their live stages. Yes I still enjoy it but it's just not the same level of excitement, I'll download the songs that I liked, then move on till their next comeback.
well , my story, i started losing interest, coz it start giving me vibes, they are for not me, but for rich fans! well, all i could see is spend money every where if i wanna show myself as an fan, i know its their business but still... but it doesn't mean i hate them now, i like them, including some other groups...
Personally, as an ult stay and as a multistan at the same time, im in their shit forever and ever. I can't ever see myself 'losing interest' in any of my groups (doesn't matter if they're my ult or not), like ever. Like, even if they change their style of music or something like that. Good music is good music after all, and if I don't like any release by my groups, I just say that "it's not my vibe", but I'd never leave a fandom just cause of that, unless yk some problematic shit happens. Is that just me?
Tbh I think I have more ult groups that are dispanded or rarely promote than are actually active. I dont think I have fallen out of love with them but I definitely dont listen to them as much as I did and I dont actively follow all the members. But if they do something as a group I am normally hype about it assuming I hear about it in the first place. But it is super sad then when its not everything you expect it to be and it does totally give you a feeling that you are falling out of love. But then you remember your not gonna love everything they do and then one of their songs comes on and you remember this is still the best song you have ever listened too and you will never stop loving this group.
For me, i was really into one group and i loved their music, but then the tipe of music they started releasing wasnt that much of my style so i didn't like it anymore, and also the interactions with the ppl of the fandom ended up annoying me bc some ppl didn't respect that i liked other groups, so i still like them as persons BC they are really nice and all, but i just de find them as intetesting as a group
NewJeans has developed this bad habit of tying their songs to commercial advertisements, instead of just.......... being a song for its own sake? Bubble Gum was the last straw for me. Why should I have to navigate around a shampoo commercial to hear a new k-pop song from some girls I like? No thanks.
Well. You can't really tell they are commertials? So what If they are winning extra money advertising something in the song? As long as it isnt pushed down your throat Its fine, I couldn't tell it was an ad.
Funnily I just noticed in NJ Instagram , there r lots post of them promoting the brand they work for than promoting the songs. MHJ seems to be too hungry.
I haven’t experienced that. I’m a multi Stan so I have a lot of groups feeding me lol but I tend to watch content of 2 groups at a time and then switch them out 😂 so I’m just cycling through groups and content
I once lost intrest because the song quality detiorated and one I just stopped checking out on them with course of time. I didn't really stan them but I did listen to all their songs and knew lyrics by heart. Finally I found my fav.
@@Mochaoff no it was artist from my country. Well, I like itzy and infact I like their some of "hated" songs. I just wanted to share it even tho it wasn't related to kpop.
When i start not liking their music anymore or if their music became repetitive like same formula everytime. It could be concept or music itself or the topic they talking about in music ect. Of course not one song/cb after but when continuously feeling this way. Sometimes i listen their comebacks maybe 6-7 months later. There is one more thing that doesn't make sense: i stop being in the fandom when the group became more popular 😬 unintentionally. I became mainstream listener idk why. Sometimes i miss out comeback entirely.
I feels like a big chore to watch their comeback. I do like them. But it's not the same obsession. You just grew out of it. You already have like million things to do as an adult. Plus I have never been obsessed over just one group. I'm a multistan so if some group is becoming boring, there's always something new to replace them. This happened with blackpink nd BTS. Bts left for military and I don't even when next bp comeback is going to be. Newer groups kept me busy with their refreshing concepts.
I used to be an multi stan who loved abt 10 groups now i only stan 1 group( which are my ults enhypen) but being a multi stan isnt a job for the weak😅 its really chaotic especially fan wars and ppl comparing them all the time. So yea im glad i only stan 1 group now. And its alot of hardwork keeping up with all the groups activities so yea really chaotic🥲
Too much controversies around their names, or when the company is sh!tty. Or just when the music is not interesting to me anymore, or if their sound changed to much
I never quit being an army, but for the first group I ever stanned I do not keep up with Bts anymore. Not even because they're all off in the military now(Except for Jin, welcome home bbg) I just kinda stopped consuming any content of them. Been really into their music again recently though, so who knows
All those who are saying not stanning bts cause of fandom, i just have to say one thing your most welcome to leave they will still be the most popular and entertaining group in the history of kpop and u actually never loved or liked them call your self randome listener who just came and went not even a fan lol.... ( fandom cant be the reason for tou to not love an artist, bts will forever be loved and billions stars are waiting for those 7 angles to comeback)💜
They are saying bts fandoms only has toxicity and not others. Every fandom has toxic fans. These days 4th gen fandoms are equal when it comes to toxicity. The way all collectively bullied some girlgroups is too much and its not army bullied them. Those saint fandoms.
For me it’s BTS. Got into them when I saw them go to the Grammys in 2019. But I feel like their sound started to die with me with PTD and Yet To Come. The love will always be there though. Hopefully when they get back together in 2025 they’ll release something good that I’ll like.
Along with yet to come , they released run bts which similar to mic drop, for youth similar to their past bsides. All members has diff genres for their solos. Like jk with pop, jimin with kpop sound, jhope with his own hiphop, suga with complete rap genre, v with rnb vibe, rm with a diff genre. Like where they are similar to ptd.
It's happening to me right now, but rather than the natural process of 'falling out of love', it was a choice of disengagement, to both focus on living a healthy life and a new group to stan. I had been a BTS fan for more than 5 years, and it had been planned for myself that once my bias (Taehyung) enlists in the military, I would choose to disconnect everything related to the group and shift my focus to a new group that I had just discovered and also recently debuted, Zerobaseone, where my bias Hanbin is there. Since it was a choice, unlike the stories that had been written here it was actually difficult to let go of that one group for another. Dont get me wrong though - I still consider myself a fan of BTS and I still support them with whatever their plan is moving forward, but there is a difference between 'being a fan' and 'engaging with the group'. In this case, I'm just not engaging with them for the time being, and it might still be the case beyond 2025 when they come back (it depends on me when I am ready to face them again). As for Zerobaseone, I am currently in the process of adapting to the group and fandom like a new immigrant adjusting to the culture of your new place, and so far it's looking good! (excited for Hanbin's Allure cover and artist of the month in July) I still have a lot to navigate and adjust to but today I can say that I'm this close to getting there! All in all both groups remain to become important in my K-pop stan journey, and I wish them the best.
I tend to fall in love with one group, move on, and after a few months, I fall back in love.. Rn I'm obsessed with Nmixx and before that I liked lesserafim and before that gidle, and before that itzy 💀🙏🏻
I never quit being a fan per se. I would just not be as excited for them when they make a comeback. That group currently is Everglow. Their last hit was Ladida for me.
When i got into kpop newly about 2 yrs ago, blackpink was my best girl group. I mean i still love them till today but i find myself giving more attention to another gg these days but ill still try to support them 😊
oh shit, that's why I don't feel excited anymore when skz announcing their comeback.. I'm more excited when aespa announce their going to comeback 😢 but it still feels weird because I still want to go to skz concert if they come to my country
When they become too popular or start to become totally out of touch with reality. In the sense that they become so rich and/or famous that they can’t relate to a “normal” person anymore. Then my interest might go away, I’ll stop watching every new video they post or counting down the days until their comeback.
I used to be a huge Army. But I think once they started to focus more on releasing English songs and all, I felt disconnected. I couldn’t enjoy their music as much because to me, the depth and their authenticity were gone… It didn’t feel as if I were listening to BTS anymore. They’re still releasing good songs, don’t get me wrong. But… yeah, to me, it doesn’t feel the same
So 3 english songs was all it took in their 400+ discography....😭😭 Well dmn because they've been releasing amazing music as a group and currently as soloists
I'm a multi stan and one of the groups I stan is skz. But I fell out of love. I don't know why watching them feels boring or stale and I hate myself for feeling that way. Also the fandom can be toxic.
I definitely didnt feel Twice anymore. The last Twice song I liked is Scientist. I just felt like its more westernized and dropped their cutesy twice concept. I know all of them are adults but their songs just sounded like only older people will love, and im 28.
Since I have OCD, I can't like groups casually. I get too into them for a few years, buy all the merch, spend a lot of time in their fan communities... And inevitably I grow sick of them because every fandom sucks and merch is expensive. So eventually I'm unable to separate the group from the bad fan experience. I start resenting them and suddenly it's been a year and I don't watch their content anymore. I don't enjoy their new music. I start downsizing my collection.... I start selling my non-album stuff first. And one day I wake up and think "Maybe I just keep one album from each era instead of every version". A few months later I'm like "I'll just keep my favorite ones". And suddenly I'm selling everything at half the price because it takes up too much space in my mind palace. I can't do things midways, so to me, the indicator is not wanting to buy more albums, kinda. But funny enough, the groups I've liked since 2010 remain unshakable. I guess it's hard for me to commit to groups that didn't quite literally raise me 🤔
Enhypen is my ult group and one of the only boy groups I stan. I dont know if it's because of that but for the past like 9 months I haven't caught up eith their content and stuff that much and I really only watch girlgroup stuff. But deep inside they still have a special place in my heart so idk what to think.
If u really like music, u won't need to even decide this. If the music is good then follow them, if the comeback isn't ur cup of tea, then u don't have to mass stream or support. Fandoms seem more like cults that if u disagree with whatever or if ur idols don't do what u expect, then u 'fall out of love'. Don't overthink it, it's music. It's supposed to be enjoyed, not over analyze.
I'm multifandom but I seriously stan when I stan. Idk how I stop loving bts in 2017 so suddenly. I followed them since debut and it's been 4years then I suddenly stop for no clear reason. I still love a lot of 2nd and 3rd gen group till now so it is quite weird when I suddenly stop. One more I suddenly stop stanning monsta x for no reason too
exo is the only group in the entirety if kpop that i stan, i still love them and definetely did not fall out of love with them but they have been inactive for so long i kinda forget about them until a video of the old good days pop on my feed that i remember them and watching it always makes me so nostalgic it is kinda painfull, i miss them so much
I've been a multi stan since I started watching Kpop years ago, and at some point around when Covid stopped being a threat, I didn't have much time so I stopped following Kpop that much, I'd still listen to it, but I didn't take any time to watch comebacks, shows, etc... I came back somewhat recently again and my main difference now is that I'm not as interested anymore in male groups, at least for now, so that means I'm not stanning BTS anymore or Stray Kids and such, I still listen to them and all, but I don't follow them as a stan.
The only geoup i hard stanned ever was BP (watched all their vlogs and stuff anr was content hunting) but that was qhen i was a new kpop stan now adays i dont even bother to watch idol vlogs anymore but i still stan all their music 🕺
Here is my story: We don't talk about boy groups cuz it's always been Ateez and Stray Kids.. as for girl groups, i got in girl groups from BLACKPINK but there music bored me really fast so I stanned Izone and Twice. Everything was perfect until izone was disbanded in 2021. then i stanned LOONA.. during that time, Twice released so much music that i got fed up.. also in 2022 there music gets boring... Stanning LOONA was fun despite the troublesome fanbase and company.. until Modhaus and ARTMS came and how Loona fanbase were getting on my nerves, they were antichrist, antimen, too much toxic so i left them... During those days, i was in love with Le sserafim as well so currently i am with Le sserafim (most likely i am continuing stanning izone because of Sakura and Chaewon).. even though this group reputation is so damaged now... I still want to support this group.. oh yeah, I also lost interest in NewJeans after Min Heejin issue
I don't fall out of love with the groups, it's just that I found a group that I love better. 😅 Like now, I am a multi-stan but my ultimate group is TWICE. When other group that I like made their comeback, I will still watch it and listen to their music. But if TWICE, it is beyond just listening and watching the MV, the support for them is much better. And when there's voting, I will definitely vote them than the other. You know
I can’t relate when it comes to K-pop groups the ones I love, I LOVE! But I like a lot of groups but love ❤️ is on a whole other level. But I do however find myself falling out of love with K-pop. I don’t like the vibe of it. Most of the music and groups or fans culture. If it wasn’t for the groups I LOVE I wouldn’t be here.
Stray kidz collab with Charlie Puth and Support Isnotreal! There music was to mush i am rich music ! I loved them the most when they were about mental helth and we can do it
I was like obsessive over my fav groups releasing music but then i realised how toxic blinks were and fell out of love with blackpink and then stopped being quite so obsessive with all my groups new music :/ its so hard to care i usually listen to the music weeks after it releases or not at all
I quitted being Aing after everything happened. Nope people can give 1000 reasons and i still don’t think what hyuna did was excusable. And then i kinda lost interest over blackpink, bts, straykids over time i guess it happens the major reason might be after covid. I became extremely busy with university and then eventually i got bored of their music. Suddenly kpop didn’t feel like it used to
i quitted stanning BTS cuz of their fandom. bcz i used to get harassed offline and online just bcz i was an armyblink and mostly army's would come up to me and say nonsense about BP and even go as far as calling BP members and me by bad names. recently i'm loosing interest from BP too because of their lack of activities as a group. it doesn't feels like a group anymore,it's feel like some individuals interacting once in a year
I stan girl groups and it was blackpink that I was starting to loose interest in because Lisa and sometimes Jennie would shout and not even sing to the music what was playing but I still love them and sometimes listen to them
Blackpink haven't disbanded, they literally renewed their contract for group activities with YG. It's just currently they are focusing on solo activities.
@crystalsnow1138 their solo activities seem far less successful than their group activities, though. So I wonder why they wouldn't continue as a group right now. What are Rose and Jisoo working on? Even Lisa? They have the right to do what they want, of course, but it seems to me like they just quietly disbanded as a group.
@@cw5437 I think Jisoo is filming a movie, Lisa is filming or filmed with the White Lotus tv show. And then Jennie, Lisa, and Rose have all been working on solo music too. Blackpink is known to take breaks between comebacks. I think they just want to explore solo activities for the time being because being in a group where you are always together working, hanging out, performing can take it's toll. And I think their solos have still been very successful. I think Lisa and Jennie are going have big 2024. Lisa signed with RCA which is an American label so she's going to get a big push in the western market.
Lisa just announced her comeback she completed filming her music video and reportedly it will be promoted by vevo and Jennie recently opened her tiktok account to promote her solo releases, jisoo is also working on her music jisoo herself confirmed it, rosé is negotiating with tbl for her solo journey
Fell out of love with Enhypen, I'm just not into their concept now... I can't define it or i do have a definition for it it's just not something to put out there. Let's just say they lost their "wholesomeness". BTS... Not really fell out of love but since Butter, their songs were not really as impactful... I would go back and listen to their older songs once in a while. Ateez has had my heart since seeing them in Kingdom... I feel like they're such genuine people 🩷
a clear sign would be, not getting excited with new activities or news from the group.

I Also Do This First I Used To Get Excited Whenever Bts Announce Their Group And Solo Comeback But Now I Watch Their MV After Weeks Or Month After Release No Hate To Bts I Still Like Bts
Happened to me with Blackpink! Oh wait, they were hardly releasing anything...
i think it’s okay to lose interest in things/people without having a reason or making it a big deal, especially if something else caught your interest. i go through phases occasionally but i still love and respect the things that i used to be obsessed with. and i find people who hate their phases or past selves more cringey than their interests cuz just why
Their music went in a direction I no longer vibed with. I never left the fandom, I’m just no longer hard stanning them. And tbh, I don’t have time to hard stan groups anymore because adulting is hard.

As a multi-stan, it's difficult to lose interest in any of my ult groups 😅... I understand why many people quit fandoms, but I couldn't do it 😂
It's not something you do consciously...
I'm the same. if I decided to love something it's generally for the long run. So I can't relate with the feeling of falling out of love with a group.
I'm also an army for over five years too. And I really don't see me unstan BTS for example.

I’m crazy I know 😭
I literally stan a lot of kpop groups and idols and I still continue to love them
- when too much drama in that group/fandom
- when they release bad/cringe songs consecutively
- when too much content is released that I feel like being forced-fed mouthful until stomach overfilled
- when any of the members develop cringe persona/personality
this may not apply to a lot of you but for me, military enlistment for boy groups is a huge factor in this. first it happened with ONF back in the pandemic era when I had been a dedicated stan of theirs myself along with BTS, until the members enlistments in late 2021, to which during that period I discovered new groups that when I chose to reconnect with them it was not the same anymore as before (though I still consider myself a fan).
and then when BTS members enlisted, it was the time when I had been a stan already of Zerobaseone but for this one it was my personal choice of not engaging with them (BTS) for the time being and shift my focus to Zerobaseone. dont get me wrong, I'm still a fan of both groups and I support them in all endeavors but I choose to challenge myself with this one (to give the new group a chance, while at the same time continue living my life) and it was very hard but I am in the process of re-adapting to the new group and it's looking good.
Another off topic but did you hear red velvets day. 1 it so summery
My story. the group disband others are inactive.
When i saw them change after being more popular, they loose their spark and i start to find new groups that have the passion😂
I stan txt and I know i'll be stanning them forever!!
I like a lot of groups
But I only stan one group
And that’s not going to change anytime soon
Even though they have been inactive for a while I’m still very interested in all the members and will always jump at a chance to support them
Fandom was becoming so toxic and so intwined with everything about the group.
I literally fell out of love with SNSD when Jessica left. Every comeback after she left just didn't feel the same.

I don't really listen to my past ult groups as much as ATEEZ....maybe their old stuff occasionally and if they release new music I'll check it out but I don't have it on repeat for the most part like when ATEEZ release something. when I was bullied & harassed online by other “fans” of a group I really used to love.
That’s me with skz I just don’t enjoy them as much
Personally, as an ult stay and as a multistan at the same time, im in their shit forever and ever.
No thanks.
bubble gum was a shampoo commercial??
Well. You can't really tell they are commertials? So what If they are winning extra money advertising something in the song? As long as it isnt pushed down your throat Its fine, I couldn't tell it was an ad.

I started losing interest/excitement and one day i started getting the ick, one member at a time until everything made me cringe😂

All in all both groups remain to become important in my K-pop stan journey, and I wish them the best.

oh shit, that's why I don't feel excited anymore when skz announcing their comeback.. I'm more excited when aespa announce their going to comeback 😢
but it still feels weird because I still want to go to skz concert if they come to my country
I couldn’t enjoy their music as much because to me, the depth and their authenticity were gone…
It didn’t feel as if I were listening to BTS anymore.
They’re still releasing good songs, don’t get me wrong. But… yeah, to me, it doesn’t feel the same
So 3 english songs was all it took in their 400+ discography....😭😭 Well dmn because they've been releasing amazing music as a group and currently as soloists
@@user-vv7hc7kb5o it’s a personal opinion, right?
maybe it’s a you thing, bc bts has only released three English songs. all of their recent music, has been Korean
I watched your old video today and I noticed you lost a lot of weight and you look more beautiful in comparison to past you
If u really like music, u won't need to even decide this.
I loved them the most when they were about mental helth and we can do it
Yep. ITZY 😔
I was like obsessive over my fav groups releasing music but then i realised how toxic blinks were and fell out of love with blackpink and then stopped being quite so obsessive with all my groups new music :/
its so hard to care
i usually listen to the music weeks after it releases or not at all
I quitted being Aing after everything happened. Nope people can give 1000 reasons and i still don’t think what hyuna did was excusable. And then i kinda lost interest over blackpink, bts, straykids over time i guess it happens the major reason might be after covid. I became extremely busy with university and then eventually i got bored of their music.
Suddenly kpop didn’t feel like it used to
This is me for Cherry Bullet. Ever since the song we do not speak of I stopped listening to them. Sad that they’re disbanding though.
they already disbanded,, and wat song??
@@FrostyPlayzYT aloha oe.
i quitted stanning BTS cuz of their fandom. bcz i used to get harassed offline and online just bcz i was an armyblink and mostly army's would come up to me and say nonsense about BP and even go as far as calling BP members and me by bad names. recently i'm loosing interest from BP too because of their lack of activities as a group. it doesn't feels like a group anymore,it's feel like some individuals interacting once in a year
I stan girl groups and it was blackpink that I was starting to loose interest in because Lisa and sometimes Jennie would shout and not even sing to the music what was playing but I still love them and sometimes listen to them
I liked Blackpink, but they haven't put anything out in so long. I guess they quietly disbanded? Completely lost any momentum they could have had.
Lisa just announced her comeback
she completed filming her music video and reportedly it will be promoted by vevo and Jennie recently opened her tiktok account to promote her solo releases, jisoo is also working on her music jisoo herself confirmed it, rosé is negotiating with tbl for her solo journey
Yuehua Ent. Kicking out one member because of clubbing 😅 (TEMPEST) can’t really watch their content now because they are just 6 and it feels wrong
I am not there for the fandom.. I just love the artist and he named me
I am Pyro. I became real.
For me it’s bp they just haven’t released anything yet (looking forward to Lisa’s comeback rockstar)
