The saddest part is when you realize that the desease that Sigewinne's Master tried to cure was The dissolution syndrome by Primordial water, it is very likely that she realized that find a cure for that desease was the key to avoid the profecy. She was like the Narzissenkreuz Ordo members, she gave her life trying to avoid the profecy even experimenting with her own body to develop a cure until her death, when she decided to sacrifice herself to create the potion for Sigewinne after not finding said cure (the miracle).
But her apprentice went on to play a big role in condemning the hydro archon as guilty and executing Focalors, granting neuvillette the authority to “cure” their condition for good So her efforts were not in vain after all!
It's more of a sign that the voice actor is having a hard time to keep the voice high. But yeah I've noticed that (had to watch videos first since I played it on CN dub). I sure do hope that the voice actor keeps it this way and not the unnecessary straining high pitched act.

her story quest actually hits hard for me... people's judgment to you can differ based on your looks. i feel sorry for her and potton, and somehow relate to them in some way. one of my fav story quest, no doubt. it indirectly reflects on real world's condition as well in these days where your looks can determines your worth and capability in people's eyes.

Except for Neuvillette and Furina (before her curse was revoked), almost all playable characters there are yet to be born. Try to pay attention next time. Media literacy is already on the verge of extinction here.
I mean, it was pretty obvious she was most likely centuries old. Melusines are a long-lived race compared to humans. I wasn't that surprised and even though Sigewinne is adorable af, she gave me older sister vibes to Wriothesley. xD But, I can understand why people saw Wrio as a fatherly figure to Sigewinne.
