    We lived on this crap growing up in the 60s and 70s. Remember the Campbell's chicken and dumplings? I don't know if they sell that soup anymore, but it was good. When my daughter had covid she was really really sick and I made her some homemade chicken soup with bone broth--she was better than the next day, and this was after she was sick over a week and we didn't know if she was going to make it. I delivered the soup along with a bag of wonderful spices like ginger, oregano, basil, for her to add to it to taste. I'm so glad I made that soup. 🙏 Thank you so much doc, I enjoy your video so much.

    I'd like to see the ingredients list on the soup from the 70's and see if it's the same or has gotten so bad as they have been trying to oft us

      I think the soil has been depleted even more since then, but it would be interesting to see if there are even more preservatives added now or less, as well. One thing of concern is the useage of Glycosphates now on
      Most grain crops which is alarming. The label will not reflectsome things, such as the ingested drugs in the chicken feed or genetically (GMO) Bioengineered ingredients...come to think of it, I'd go BACK to the 70's !.

    As I am listening to this, I hear you talk about your grandfather having stomach cancer, my husband us dying from the same thing. Do you have any words of wisdom to help his body recover after his chemo treatments? He has these every other week and is completely exhausted in between the treatments. I am looking for any way to help him feel better during the time between treatments.

      @@debras2845 for my chicken, I buy it online from Cooks Venture. All pasture raised, no hormones or antibiotics. I buy the whole chicken, debone it, roast the bones and make the broth. Foe beef, I have two, local farms that grow grass fed, hormone and antiproton free beef. They harvest their own greens to feed the cows during winter. It’s worth it to me for my health. Plus, I love to cook so that’s a bonus.

    What about for people that are allergic to coconut and citrus??

  • @ElainePetrakisMidnightCrafter
    @ElainePetrakisMidnightCrafter 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Citric acid is definitely not healthy. The citric acid that is put into most things out there is not the same as what you get from citrus fruits. It is lab made and remains acidic in the body and I don't have to tell you how bad that is. Also, "natural flavors" is MSG.

      Hello Tara,
      -LGD
      Unfortunately, we do not have a list of brands that we can recommend or reference. We simply don't have enough time in the day to vet all the companies out there! Additionally, companies change their formulas so often we can't be confident that what we say today is the same formula in a month. We always recommend that you research the ingredients in the products that you are using. If you want to look up products and ingredients, a good place to start is the Environmental Working Group.
      If you are a Lifestyle Member, you can find our Supplement 101 Guide in your Members Area! That will advise you what to look for in supplements. If not, you can find that guide on our Website.
      I apologize I couldn't give you a direct answer on that but I hope this helps! -LGD Team

    Uncle matts

    • @melly8769
      @melly8769 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Uncle Matt's still has tons of sugar. 22g in fact in one 8 oz glass of their regular organic orange juice. Their Matt50 is a little better with 10g of sugar but still no fiber like you get when eating an orange and it has 13 carbs. I think the whole point is that any 100% whole juice is not a good choice because of the sugar content whether natural or added and no fiber. Plus, who really drinks just an 8 oz glass.
      I will say though for Uncle Matt's they do have a good No Sugar Added Strawberry Lemonade. 1 gram of natural sugar and 1 net carb for an 8 oz glass. Ingredients: Filtered Water, Organic Lemon Juice, Organic Strawberry Puree, Organic Stevia. Their No Sugar Added regular Lemonade only has 1 carb and 0 Sugar.
