    Mr Evers, just shows we are human so sometimes we do stuff we should not. But the video was a great teaching point and reminds us to prepare, think what we are doing and slowdown. You are always teaching. Thanks for what you do. God bless and God Bless America!

    I am really enjoying your videos. You do not just show you catching fish, you explain what you are doing, why you are doing it and I am learning so much. Thank you for being so educational and taking the time to teach. I am trying to learn so I can catch some big fish with my kids. I can not wait until my son hooks a big one and your are really helping me get there.

    Great video, love seeing the how to’s of using certain baits. You don’t leave the heartbreak moments out which is great, makes me feel a little better about my disappointing moments while fishing. Thanks

    Really great content...... and showing also that you have some days on the water that don't go as planned...... We can ALL relate to that......!!!! Did you throw a bladed jig at all that day on those windy points........ Just wondered if that was in your bait progression or not that day...... Thanks for the awesome vids...... and sharing so much info.....!!!!

    funny you say that about clear water lakes...I had a tournament on kerr lake on the nc/va border the other week and they had dropped the lake 7ft in less than a week 14ft in 2 weeks. I stayed out on the points and humps and zeroed and the rest of the field wrecked em fishing shallow for them wolf packs on topwater and flipping. 🤦‍♂️

    • @EdwinEversfishing
      @EdwinEversfishing  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are always exceptions. Must’ve been a lot of current coming through the lake and that could’ve been a factor along with a bluegill spawn or possible shad spawn?

    • @byronbrush9030
      @byronbrush9030 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@EdwinEversfishing yes there was a ton of current! they were dropping the lake like crazy...I never saw any bream or shad spawn but there definitely could have been. what I did see was a TON of fingerlings tho. baby bass about 2-3inches long everywhere up shallow. There was some fish out there but not as many as were shallow. it was a great experience tho. i learned way more by sucking than I would have if I had caught them out on the on points. 👍

    I’ve caught Fish on similar patterns here on the mobile delta except I’m flipping cypress trees. I always have to downsize my flipping weight because if I don’t you lose a lot in cypress tree root balls.

    • @EdwinEversfishing
      @EdwinEversfishing  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes the extended roots on cypress trees are a lot like the roots out away from Willow tree. You also have the added factor of current.

    Edwin would love to see you Fish A lake that is run by the army corps of engineers. I have one here near my house and in October they do a winter draw down to prep for winter. Have watched your video on falling water but with the same principles work because you’re fishing in the summer with falling water instead of late fall fall in water. Looking for help

    • @EdwinEversfishing

      The spinner bait was a half ounce that I used in this episode. Are use double Colorado in muddier water and colder water. I like a tandem willow in stained water. Hope this helps

      Every now and then you’ll have some very sharp edges on tungsten weights and the quick impact of a hookset will cut it instantly like a knife.

      Also check your rod eyes every few trips. Nothing like having one of the inserts crack and slowly shave your line without you noticing. Took a couple trips to find that one!🤦🏽‍♂️
