It's a great looking layout. I think you will get headaches, but you always seem to sort it out. 😊

The thing with modeling is sometimes things go right or you run out of glue or anything you need. .Seems to be not around. So do something or get a beer and sit down. That is when you get the best ideas.

Once again nail it. It's slowly coming on. Hope the postman turned up. 👍👍👍

You get times when one action spawns ten things you don’t need but it works out in the end. Think you have done the right things and walk away, do somethings and come back later. I have used ID backscenes and they are very good. My backscenes are a bit lower but I used a factory chimney to cover the break between two types. BTW glad you rethought about the lights in the factories, just worried you will now have to think of a new video as “how to fit lights to building now I have glued the buildings down…” may no longer be made!?

Haha. Thank you. By coincidence I was looking at some industrial chimneys… 👍

If it helps I tested inclines for days before starting Westfield IV. A 1.5% slope allowed 8 coach Steam trains, 2% allowed 5 coaches. Diesels do better.

Thank you. That’s really good to know. I’ll see what results I get. 👍

Is there space for a nice rural junction station on top of that section you're extending out?

Things are coming along. that corner trim on the building looks pretty good. if you are looking for something to work on while waiting for the mail may i suggest doing some weathering on your rolling stock? The coal cars could use a layer of muck. 👍

Thanks. I’ve watched a few videos around weathering rolling stock. I’m just a bit nervous I’d mess things up….. 👍

You can practice on almost anything. Cheep toys, plastic boxes. 3D prints, model car kits from the thrift stores. Just have to remember to trust the process and that its going to look bad until it dont. Just find something to practice with until you feel comfortable with the process.
