    i usually dont comment TH-cam Videos. but i have to say ALL that you said is 100% true.
    I played a lot of Gacha Games (im 35 years), and in the beginning i spent a lot of money in them -> mostly because of FOMO and the principle of nickles, a little bit here, and a little bit there, as you said
    I still play Gacha, for example Honkai, or ZZZ, but i only buy the Battle Passes in them and have fun with it. Because thats what it supposed to be as you said, just to have FUN.
    Great Video 😁

    Great advice for people who are new to gachas. They will drain you. Either your time or money or both.

    This is good advice for players new to gacha. I like that you said the most important is to have fun, I think that gets lost sometimes in the discourse about these games online.
    I know there's a lot of cynicism towards gacha in general, and it's totally valid (in most cases). But I do think from what I've seen of this game, that it isn't particularly predatory (within the realm of other gachas). The Spiral of Destiny mode is basically a full free game people could enjoy without any p2w elements at all. I hope that people who are nervous about gacha, but think this game looks fun to them, realise that they could have fun with this fully free if they give it a shot.
    I'm super excited to play the Spiral of Destiny mode myself. It's perfect for when my stamina runs out, because you can play it practically endlessly with barely any gating (just keys which are easy to get). In most gacha games I've played, it usually feels like once you run out of energy you can't do anything at all. So I love that I can still enjoy the gameplay as I wish even without worrying about running out of stamina.
    Thanks for the great vid :)

    Never played this game before, but I am a whale in another gacha. Video covers most of the good points. Some things I can think of:
    1. If you want to be really stingy and efficient on summons, save and only summon on collab/limited units. Any other unit can be obtained eventually.
    2. Join a guild. I don't know how this game will work, but being in a guild will add more benefits than not being in one.
    3. I don't know how gearing works, but I bet there is a system otherwise people wouldn't log in everyday and farm. Stat check your gear at all times, only roll on good/high stats. Be super stingy. Might be fine to take subpar gear early on, but you replace it late game.
    4. Keep an active friend list. Actively trim players who quit. Don't friend list guildies since group content is usually shared with them automatically.
    5. If you do spend money on the game, go for value packs. Have a someone calculate the perceived value of a pack and if its worth it. However, ideally, you spend nothing on the game. Once you spend a cent, you are more inclined to be parted with your money.
    6. Find out which SSR is good. Reroll until you get that good unit. Personally, I'm not starting the game unless I get Gloria or Inanna from what I understand.
    This is the first gacha I've been excited for since the current one I'm playing. FFT is one of my favorite games of all time and I spent more time on Triangle Strategy than any other single player game in years.

    How long does it take to do your daily login stuff and spend your stamina in this game? I am interested in playing this but don't want a huge time commitment every day.

    the reality and usual problem of getting burnout with this system was they making it way too hard for f2p players to grind and max 1 character usually a higher tier one that needs rare resources or limited drops... by that time you get bored using same 1 max char you spend many months to max or else use new underleveled ones you cant used to beat higher level content.

    Hope the people trying to convince others that this is similar to a regular game or that its f2p friendly watch this. If you like gachas games like this are cool, but trying to make a rhetoric that regular gamers will enjoy this game somehow despite it being a gacha ia ridiculous.
    Other than that, cant wait for the game.

      You can largely ignore the gacha side of it if that's what you prefer. I don't see why this is a point of contention? It is a game that caters to both crowds. Also for the many players who have never touched a gacha in their lives, I think this is some great advice.

    • @purplatypus7405
      @purplatypus7405  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You can play the mode that ignores the gacha however I wouldnt want to imply that is risk free. You are still in the games ecosystem and maybe one day you get curious and try the gacha modes.

      @@purplatypus7405 Is this correct or a half truth your viewers have sold you on? Im not playing atm but I have watched TW players go through the game.
      1) You need keys of destiny to play the single player mode, keys which you obtain from the online, GACHA mode clearance.
      2) Overall character progression is still locked by account lvl, and the best way to increase acct lvl is through fools journey, the gacha mode.
      3) Every unit you use in spiral of destiny uses stamina, 10 per battle, 40 by defeat, and random stamina numbers in dispatch, crafting and constructions. Meaning the more units you get from the gacha and bring over to your game the better the more you can do in spiral of destinies, otherwise youre capped by stamina systems.
      Arent the things I said true or did I say something that was wrong? Is the translation for all the systems incorrect?

    • @beatstiqs
      @beatstiqs 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The units you can bring over to spiral of destinies is not unlimited. Also,i have played through it without bringing in summoned legendaries,only those given. It was still the same result... What matters in that mode is the skills you get and strategies. Remember that your character skills are removed. The main point of legendaries at all is easier access to legendary skills earlier on i believe. The online gacha aspect you said is still majorly pve pacing you from day to day,which is fine.@@blkwng

    • @blkwng
      @blkwng 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@beatstiqs Im seeing many people make this point and they seem misleadingly untruthful; the # of units you can bring over at one time are limited to 3; however, if you bring 3 units and waste their stamina I saw on video how the person simply changed the characters and brought other 3 from his gacha pool. And the skills are removed from the characters but not the overall lvl nor their passives, since I saw a video with Gloria aura applied, although I may have see wrong since Im basing it off on the icon display because I cant read the language. Im trying not to sound like a hater because Im not; Ill play the game, and Im loving the look of it. But I absolutely detest how many gacha gamers are always trying to spread this addiction to others with misleading arguments. The spiral of destiny is what I believe to be a great "event" tab so to speak for the game. Something good for you, if you like gachas, to play with additionally to the rest of the game and when out of stamina. It is definitively NOT something even akin or that can replace the experience a regular gamer is looking for in an SRPG. Hell, this very video's first advice says to not grow a character simply because you like it because of materials restriction; you think a regular gamer would like this type of restriction in fire emblem? In FFT? In Triangle streategy? In wotr? No they would not. That is my main problem with this arguments. Overall, I think the mode is great. But its not even close to being a single player f2p friendly experience. Its still a gacha, plain and simple.
