Area upgrades increase the range the projectiles can travel when you have the perk that makes them come back to you.

the game is fun for sure, but that one that causes explosions on crit always breaks the frame rate. its really badly optimized for late game in the first place, and that one upgrade always causes a straight up break down
go to settings; you can turn that animation off

Playing as a bounty hunter named chaos, pretty par for the course on DF’s channel
playing as chaos? he IS chaos
i am in a run thats still going and I have over 250k damage per shot my chrit chance is 97% every time I use all 15 dashes I gain 200 extra damage and explode killing four times damage and drop a bomb and push everything away from me. base damage from 13k with a full stack of dashes too 30k while moving, and i have 1 mill bounty
Df next time if you get the Sherrif perk take increased area of effect!
That way your projectiles will fly farther before coming back!

ok so you dont shoot randomly, you always aim (you can see who you have auto locked by a litle aura under them) what the pierce does is when it hits an enemy it becomes homing and tracks to its next target before then returning to a normal bullet
Not taking any speed upgrades is just diabolical

Rule of thumb for games like these: if the fps is dying, you’re doing something right
What if you got the big bullet that shoots every 30 Secs, bigger projectiles and the thing that makes the bullets come back to you with lots of speed so the bullet never catches you and you get a ton of damage to follow

Or just auto picks from available options without even showing them to you, so stuff just happens and you don't know why. Maybe even without showing the exp bar

More chests = more chances for absolutely broken upgrades, which makes the character absolutely broken
