I am a baptist. However, I am interested in becoming a 7th day Adventist. I am concerned about not being able to eat meat. I enjoy pig,chicken, and beef as well as fish. Could I be an Adventist and still eat meat?
Pork is unhealthy and I am speaking from an angle dealing with health, period. The same thing applies for alcohol, tobacco and drugs. A balanced diet without consuming pork and exercising, being mentally, spiritually, and emotionally stable is the way to go.

I believe that God intended veggie fruit diet from the begining, but it's not law for those laws are gone. But to live your best, healthy, longer and stronger you would keep this diet.

What happened was that the editors of Genesis mingled their tribal stories with the Sumerian stories creating a new theology and therefore they connected their ancestors like Abraham to the Sumerian stories. The Jewish text was highly reviewed and modified in the 6 century BC
