- Watch me do a tutorial on how to install RED Honda Emblems on my 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback Sport in Rallye Red. For those looking for the part numbers for the emblems that will actually fit the 2017 Hatchback Civic here are the part numbers:
Front Emblem:

Tools you will need:
-Old credit card that doesn't have the raised numbers.

You could have saved money and left alone the back emblem. Since your car is red, it pretty much looks the same.

Nice video. Quick question since you know a lot about Hondas n do a lot of mods. I recently bought JDM red type emblems as well the only issue is the rear one doesn't actually sit in the mold like in your video, rather it sits right on top. You do see the actual outline of the ridge of the rear mold, but mine sits on top with very little outline of molding. Mine does not sit inside like yours. Was wondering if you have seen that before? did I just get sent the wrong size? do you think it will be fine? I have a 2018 civic ex hatchback. Thanks for your help.

I seen the Type R spoilers on non-Type R's too. I think its all for aesthetics tho but if you put the "Type R" label without putting the Type-R's engine on then you are fronting.
Hey what did you wipe into the car before you installed the front emblem? Was it alcohol or something else?
U can use WD40 to clean the residue or GOOF OFF if it's real tough.
Just make sure you use soap and water to clean the surface before applying the new emblem.
U made it easy to remove the emblems and i get the ooof feeling when the chip on paint on the rear i don't like when paint gets messed up on my car especially front bumper rock chip 😟😟😟😟
Where did you get those emblems? This website (www.g1parts.com) really sell the OEM emblems? I called multiple dealership and both cost 150$+.
I just got them from Honda and they were only $105 for both.

Be careful with using a card for the back one, its a little more tricky! My paint got scratched, although the OEM emblem pins stayed in place.

Hey Bro do u mind to provide the part number? I bought a set online although the front size looking alrite but it doesnt have the 2 pin, its purely hold by the sticker so I am not so confident it will hold forever. >_
Bro awesomeness job! I just subscribed!! I am tempted to do a red badge in the front. But if I do I really want to have a red option on my headlights! Otherwise I want to have like an aggressive mesh grille but I have not found one that fits the hatchback! Also tempted to install the big spoiler in the back!

You can do the same thing to initially installing it. I would just leave it on there since the emblem is not much.

There are no clips, there are plastic studs.

No, but I can tell you the Type-R emblem is a pain to take off now that there is more surface area with the 3M adhesive. The bodyshop had a hard time getting it off when I had my accident not too long ago.

Coupe is two front badges for front and back. Sedan/Hatch is Front and Rear.

Aren't red emblems exclusive for the type R?
Olek Siy nothing is exclusive for the type-r other than the badge number of which type-r you have. You can literally buy the entire ground effects kit from the honda parts website if you felt inclined to. But to answer your question they do come with it from the factory.
They are exclusive to the type R. Well supposed to be. You can't stop people misbadging their car if that's their thing though.
@@geoff2049 It's just a red badge, they aesthetically look better and compliment the Si. If you're putting a type r badge on there than yeah, that is retarded.

I tried to order some type R emblems from two different Honda dealers. Both of them said I couldn't purchase them. Because the type r emblems are only ordered by Vin number.
