Thanks, nice video. QUESTION: it seems to me there was no need to DISSOLVE the part... when you changed the Channel for the lower notes (directly in the midi event), the job is done, isn't it so? Because these lower notes would then play on the 2nd channel of your VSTi which is set for the bass sound... so no need to dissolve or copy or move them to another lane or track... or there's something I'm missing here? Would love if you could comment here!
You could have just copied and paste a lot faster but I like the way you show the working capabilities of cuebase. If your using native can you tell me how you can sequence blocks base because you can’t record the midi, it’s almost like a midi tr8 depending on the programme. Keep up the good work
Video is good but of a long useless procedure. The best way is to take a new bass instrument track of your choice and copy the root notes of the chord in the previous track and paste into a new bass event. Done. Greetings from Pakistan. Stay blessed dear.

With what he’s doing I can have separate lanes of midi events for bass, root/thirds from the chords, 5ths from the chords all on separate lanes.
Yes, I agree. Work is good but it time taking. Anyhow, information is given, and its appreciatable.
