Great job managing heat and cap! If you want to squeeze a few more drones out of your rattle, you can leave some on grid abandoned and reconnect if you need them. Also I'm not sure if this was too much of a problem for you, but if they ever tackle a drone and you cannot get it back/deploy more: Abandon the drone! You can always grab it later if the battle permits. Just abandon sentries if they are too far to do dps or other drones that are tackled to get your bandwidth back and plop some more drones out! If I may ask, what ships do you find most problematic in the rattle? I ask because I am shit at picking fights XD
Yes it would, but I mean this as a last resort if you have drones out that cannot return to bay, and you need to get other drones out to apply dps with them. Such as if you have a bunch of Ogre's 75 km away and they aren't going to apply dps or get back any time soon.
Why not slow boat or burn back to gate during the engagement to give you that extra GTFO option as during teh reload parts of the fight you were essentially deagressed from them...gf tho
As much as I love the Rattlesnake for pve, I just can't ever bring myself to take it out in pvp because of how easy it is to kill the drones and loose your dps.....

Wouldn't abandoning the drones makes it easier for hostiles to kill them easier? The ships I would avoid are neuting ships.
