HeartoftheSCALAB It also shows the strength of the S2000. It has a great chassis if you can drive it like that with mostly just using one hand for steering.
***** Do you even race bra? Powersteering helps with handling if you take it off than you have to handle the car rougher whitch makes steering tougher and you feel the track better( in my opinion). He's using both hands in the corners to feel the grip and suspension of the car. you dont have to have both hands to look cool and think youre a racer your driving does. This dude already knows tha track and has a good car and setup to drive backwards if he wants to. Jelousy is a killa.....haters
benzfen Using the 9 and 3 hand position on the steering wheel is meant for the road to make the driver instructors happy. On the track, it means nothing. You pick whatever hand position you're comfortable and good with. Also, this guy is driving the car pretty well I have to say. He saved it a few times from going around backwards and drives the track well. I'd like to see you do the same.
Calm, cool, relaxed, and knows his car and rules of the track well.....Awesome driver! But I'd be scared shitless doin that kinda speed in a open top car without a helmet
"Screw 10 and 2... Just 10 thanks", This is the first video of an entire lap at the ring I've been able to sit and watch in a long time. Very entertaining, nice driving!
Everone is complaining about the two hands on the wheel! I think he has so much skills, that he knows when to use 2 hands. I mean on every hard corner or harmfull situations(where other cars are involved) he uses both hands almost all the time. But on the helmet side i am with you guys. Very dangrous! Especialy since i watched some rollover crashtest videos and you have almost no chance to survive in a roll over case. Especialy the taller passenger guy. I would never ride at such speed in a regular streetcar(even if the s2000 is a racecar in some ways) with regular driver and no roof above me. Thats insanely dangerous. But i have to say something else to the driver! I onyl saw a few guys(most of the time japanese drivers) who are so calm at this fast speeds. You drive like you are on the highway and drive 60mph. Respect!
I absolutely enjoyed every minute of this video. Great lap run, superb driving, the driver knew exactly what he was doing. Kudos on those driving skills. Great choice of car for the run too.
Driving with a roof down does look fun. I would have rolling safety lingering in the back of my head though while I race at those speeds. He is very skilled. Just wished he would use both hands though. You never know when you might suddenly need that additional control in a situation. Everyone crashes, regardless of how skilled you are so minimizing that risk for the people racing with you is not too much to ask.
Bullet1800, fantastic. I was missing my S2000 for awhile however I've now replaced it with a Boxster S. That S2000 was a fabulous car. Having said all that I should have kept it as an additional car. Life goes on.....
CaliPatriot88 No problem with the cams so far. They have been on the car for 15.000kms, they were checked recently and they have no wear at all. They have been installed since the car was running the stock ECU till now, running an AEM EMS. They work like a charm and i absolutely recommend them.
"Deuche-bro in ripped jeans does quick lap of Nurburgring without realizing how driving with one hand in an open-top roadster on an extremely fast track could turn him and his fellow bro into taco meat in a matter of seconds"
... alternatively you could buy a Gallardo to try and make yourself look like you can drive! One handed stylee is not to my liking but he is squeezing everything possible out of that little car. Sensational lap.
A very impressive lap. Many have commented on one handed driving or lack of helmets/Hans devices/other safety protection. I thoroughly agree that for driver and passenger they were poorly protected (not at all). The driver however did a good job of avoiding traffic and being a good track citizen, and displayed excellent car handling skills. Personally I wouldn't be pushing hard on a track at those speeds without a cage and full safety system, but that's their prerogative. Those on bikes push the danger limit much further all the time, and no one complains then. In all automotive sports safety of others is paramount, but you take your own safety into risk every time you do what you do, and need to accept that risk.
i owned the AP1. this car with a passenger is a different car,,,you can really feel it. this guys s2k is insane for not being boosted. he must have it tuned something ridiculous. love the beard bro. s2ks and beards .sweet
buy some driving lessons for your dad and dont take example of him. both hands always on the wheel! there is no way u can react better on sudden sytuations with one hand. it is fact.
now I can just share this instead of yelling at anyone who wants to turbo an 2sk. pointless and ruins the spirit of this car. great video, my vision of heaven.
Tbh that was a pretty safe lap, the driver obviously knows the track well and left plenty of room when catching and passing other vehicles( ive seen much worse) and as for the 1 handed thing i think he was trying to prove a point on how well the car handled, looked really cool although i am a 2 handed guy lol.
Who cares if he didn't use 2 hands, did he die? No. Did he hurt anybody else? No. Just watch the video and enjoy it, he's not going to get anything from your comments if he even reads them.
Everyone's bashing Marc. F cause of that badass one handed driving. Acting like he wouldn't be quick enough to correct clearly he did corrected with one hand no problem lol
head is tilted i know its not good but he has 1 eye still watching ahead, he also isn't just a normal everyday driver going on there for a track day lap he is testing a Time attack S2000 an is a Time attack driver,
Fantastic driving.
***** You don't get the name "God Hand" by using both your hands.

benzfen Fuck up you don't have a clue, you don't have to use both hands and use them in a set position to be defined as a "good driver"
benzfen

One hand on the wheel, no helmet and the top down! Greek madness on the ring ;)
TyrionDies Ya whats with the one hand that's sketchy lol.
xarnoldx10 usually it's the right hand on the wheel and the left hand hanging out the side
+Richard Woo fraction of a second it takes to do that, both hands should be on the wheel at all times unless shifting.
Organ donors in the making.
We've run out of bikers?
I love how the dude is so chill about everything, for him that's just a daily drive. Absolutely love it
In a 20 year old convertible. What a legend of a car 🙏
Would've gone a lot faster if the passenger had cut his hair

Calm, cool, relaxed, and knows his car and rules of the track well.....Awesome driver!
But I'd be scared shitless doin that kinda speed in a open top car without a helmet
one of the most epic "ring amateur drives" I've ever seen! NICE!
+Let's Play mit Marc F. Amateur? he is a Time attack driver? just cause he is in Casual wear on the day since its a public event lol...
Oh, sorry... didn't know.
I kinda figured he wasn't an "amateur"
+Jose El ChAcAl same, he's knows this track well! And knows that car well!
"Screw 10 and 2... Just 10 thanks", This is the first video of an entire lap at the ring I've been able to sit and watch in a long time. Very entertaining, nice driving!
never gets old. awesome lap, awesome video, awesome car.

you have a natural talent for driving dude ;) very nice...
I absolutely enjoyed every minute of this video. Great lap run, superb driving, the driver knew exactly what he was doing. Kudos on those driving skills. Great choice of car for the run too.

Gotta say that was exceptional driving and steering control. Guy's got talent for sure! Perfectly setup car too!
This is the best sports car under 35 grand hands down. Nothing else comes close. He'll this is the best sports care under 70 grand
used nsx
Joey Cormier s2000 is compared to the nsx type S on the track stock... so no nsx is not better lol
The FRS and Si aren't half bad too.
Mitsubishi Evolution 7 or a 8 are also awesome sport cars within that price range.
Mitchell Bartlett I agree.
all i can say...... the handling of this car is very good and the speed is just wow IMPRESSIVE
This man nows how to drive.
Good skills
Bullet1800, fantastic. I was missing my S2000 for awhile however I've now replaced it with a Boxster S. That S2000 was a fabulous car. Having said all that I should have kept it as an additional car. Life goes on.....
Nice driving ! I like it !
So beautiful seeing drivers waiving and respecting each other
Nice run, tuned that car well
What a great powerband! That thing had great passing power in every gear.
Im having fun just watching this, i can imagine what these guys felt :-)
Great video. Owned an AP1 for 7 years and sold it. Worst decision ever. This brought back memories. Thanks!
This S2000 is a monster and the driver is her master..
I have nothing but total respect for this guy!
love the car, love the driving.. and love the eye contact @1:00

This video definitely brightened my day, I just sold my E36 M3 to buy a other s2000.
No helmets??
Helmets for pussies

Casey Lockwood a helmet wouldn't have helped her at all lmfao
Omgwtflmaololrotfl Say that again when you crack your skull open.
Lol
that looks like way too much fun! driving the nurburgring is definitely on my bucket list.
More about the build of the car can be found on www.pb-motorsport.com
Have you guys had any issues with the Brian Crower stage 2 cams? Heard they caused some engine failures not too long ago in some other S2000s
CaliPatriot88 No problem with the cams so far. They have been on the car for 15.000kms, they were checked recently and they have no wear at all.
They have been installed since the car was running the stock ECU till now, running an AEM EMS. They work like a charm and i absolutely recommend them.
***** Just check Brian Crower's website. They have the S2000 NA Stage 2 cams listed at $680.
bullet1800 Nice mods, and how many HP ?
if you call them directly you can get them for much cheaper, or any other bc part!
It's a freakin super bike on four wheels and sounds like it too... S2K is a True JDM Monster! Nice Vid thanks.
"Deuche-bro in ripped jeans does quick lap of Nurburgring without realizing how driving with one hand in an open-top roadster on an extremely fast track could turn him and his fellow bro into taco meat in a matter of seconds"
... but he didnt? im assuming you never been to any track? ever?

Nice build and great driving... Make it look so easy...
Now that's a proper Sunday drive..

*Epic man!*
i owned the AP1. this car with a passenger is a different car,,,you can really feel it. this guys s2k is insane for not being boosted. he must have it tuned something ridiculous. love the beard bro. s2ks and beards .sweet
Is there a specific reason he keeps his right on the shifter?
Some people have more control with one hand
360 degree rotate elbow u mean? show me any pro racer who drive 1 hand.
buy some driving lessons for your dad and dont take example of him. both
hands always on the wheel! there is no way u can react better on sudden
sytuations with one hand. it is fact.
Resting the hand on the shifter actually spoils the bushings. So no i don't know why he does that. Maybe he thinks he looks cool driving with 1 hand?
Because he's cruising, it looks like he's driving well under his ability
now I can just share this instead of yelling at anyone who wants to turbo an 2sk. pointless and ruins the spirit of this car. great video, my vision of heaven.
extremely skilled but wear helmet at least man :(
i couldn't agree more
Κάθε φορά που το βλέπω τόσο πιο καλό γίνεται!
that guys beard is taking a negative toll on the aerodynamics of the car... LOL
Those backfires though, especially at 8:50!! This guy is a driver and that car is sounding beautifully!!
Lol "God Hand" (Initial D Reference)
Lol I said the same thing 😃
yeah i tought the same, he drives like me in GT5, that IS a problem. initial d god hand technique is dope, but hes just showing off...
wow....that sound is sic.....u can tell u have run the ring a lot, great driving.
the fiat panda at 5:59 still hasn't reached the finish line.

It’s still going...

***** Watch your mouth geek. You run along now and play Minecraft.
MaXGTS1 Don't get so offended Nancy, this is the internet.
MaXGTS1 What's wrong with Minecraft? That's like saying Legos aren't manly. Someone's insecure LOL. Small penis?
Jimmy Jay Someone is mad they were too poor to afford Legos. I'm sorry if your parents never loved you so you have to go on TH-cam to talk shit.
The s2k looks stable as fuck at corners and when floored! What a hell of a track car.
Honda engineers must be proud.
reminds me the one hand driving guy in inital D ^^
The noise this car makes. It's glorious.
i want to see all people sayn' bad things about this video posting their own lap on the ring!
as i watch the video i could tell this guy has alot of experience in this track. i applause the guy for excellent driving.
5:59 There goes James May in his Panda
...what a natural drive! wow you're are a king of ring.
one hand like a boss xd
Tbh that was a pretty safe lap, the driver obviously knows the track well and left plenty of room when catching and passing other vehicles( ive seen much worse) and as for the 1 handed thing i think he was trying to prove a point on how well the car handled, looked really cool although i am a 2 handed guy lol.
Your passengers hair is worth 5Mph in drag
HAHAHAHA
Sound is incredible!
Who cares if he didn't use 2 hands, did he die? No. Did he hurt anybody else? No. Just watch the video and enjoy it, he's not going to get anything from your comments if he even reads them.
People are just broke and have to hate on everything because they're broke and they're parents hate them ;)
I bought the Honda S2000 because of this video :)
I could pass everyone too if I have the blessing of Jesus with me
lmao
Your a great great driver i loved watching all this lap with you :) I will buy a S2000 :)
3:20 he was like what... Fuck no!! :D
WOW, I could watch this over and over again, Honda S2000 for the Win 😁
And that folks is how you feed your s2000
These two guys and the S2K = Still a better love story than twilight.
Everyone's bashing Marc. F cause of that badass one handed driving. Acting like he wouldn't be quick enough to correct clearly he did corrected with one hand no problem lol
exactly, he corrected no problem with one hand on a rough high side. he handles this car so well!
Respect that is some good driving man! Reactions like a cat with that quick corrections... Nice video!!!!
God Hand... is that you?
Nice vid guys I enjoyed the view as if I was actually there. Man what a ride felt like I was at a theme park.
Really? one hand driving? You should have 2 hands on the gearknob and maybe have Jesus drive from the passenger seat :)
hahaha
Beautiful build, beautiful lap.
jesus is on the passengers seat! 😳😁😊 #onelapheroes
Techno vinking friends at nurburgring are amazing!
Good driving!
I had a mini heart attack every time he talks to the passenger , keeps your eyes on the damn road
head is tilted i know its not good but he has 1 eye still watching ahead, he also isn't just a normal everyday driver going on there for a track day lap he is testing a Time attack S2000 an is a Time attack driver,
I do love Honda bikes but man I love this car too, Keep enjoying, I like this video :)
high speed driving and only one hand on steering wheel... not good...
plus no helmet and no roll cage. he got a skill as hell tough..
otiddiclvx probably has a roll bar at least
