My daughter has always loved all things ocean. When she was a baby she watched Finding Nemo so many times that she wore out the DVD!
Then at 7 she discovered this channel and fell in love! Not just with the channel, but Jonathan! She announced that she would marry him! 🤣 When I asked her why she said, "because I want to spend my life doing what he does!"
So just this summer, at 13, she got her SCUBA cert. Now she is working on her nitrox certification. She'll have that next week.
Her goal is to be a navy driver so that she can serve her country while diving.

That is amazing!!! Thank you for writing! Keep in mind Navy divers mostly do underwater work in hard hats, not filming marine life. When I was younger I thought about doing the Navy diver thing but when I looked into the job, it was less appealing than I imagined. That being said, commercial divers make very good money. Getting out of the Navy as an experienced commercial diver will lead to a good job.

So, the air in the caves is safe then? Is it 15,000 year old air or is there oxygen exchange with the sea water?
Any life forms living in the darkness of the caves? I wonder if any human remains or artifacts have been found in these caves from when they were dry and I assume habitable?
I guess they get enough air interchange because everyone takes off their masks and talks.
