  • Can a digital torque adapter replace a traditional mechanical torque wrench? I bought one to try out. This is the Quinn digital torque adapter from Harbor Freight.

    After seeing this I think the old school clicker is easier to use that the long awaited beep of the adapter.

    You can store up to 50 preset torque settings in the memory so you don't have to set it every time I preset my lug nuts and oil drain plug and other frequent uses

    Was just using mine today. Yes, setting the desired torque is quite tedious. I'm really not thrilled with it, but I only use it occasionally.

    I just don't like how it rotates away, and you have to rely on noise. I'd like to see the number increase when I use it.
