I found over several decades of tenting that making a bunch of "S" hooks out of wire clothes hangers makes hanging up clothes, towels, washcloths and other gear much easier. They are lightweight and easy to pack a dozen or more. Also, a company called ACCO makes spring steel clamp type paper clips in different sizes which are very useful on a camping trip to secure tarps and plastic, blankets and anything else. You can tie cord to them. Also, indoor outdoor carpeting makes an ideal floor and can be rolled up to pack. It can be cut in two and duct taped together inside the tent. We used remnants. You can dry it off when you get home and wash it even.
Awe....the three amigos camping together again. Love it. Awe Belle boo....she is just the sweetest. I know it sounds silly but I love hearing her munch on her kibble. So great to see the three of you out together. Love your videos. Hoping you continue to post. Lots of fun and of course Bella is such a special part of it all ❤❤ Dogs rock😂
Great to see Heather out with you on this one. Good camp spot, beautiful weather, you all had a great time. Thanks for taking the videos, excellent as always 😀
Bella and our Emma are cut from the same cloth. She’s such a sweetheart ❤ We bring m&m’s and sour patch literally on every camp trip as our campfire snacks, with scotch of course. Awesome trip video, super cozy and snuggly hot tent vibes ✨
Hi guys, My wife and I enjoyed this video very much. It’s great to see the three of you out together enjoying what the outdoors have to offer at this time of year. We live in upstate New York almost on the NY/VT border about half way between NY City and Montreal. We have the Adirondacks on our West and the Green Mountains to our East. We are both in our mid seventies and don’t get out tent camping much anymore. Watching your content brings back many memories of our younger days. Keep up the good work, we appreciate it very much. Rick and Pam
"Look at the big brains on Brad!" What an absolutely epic trip! "Heinz 57 and French fried potato"! Beautiful spot as well! Thanks so much for sharing with us! Bella "Woof!"
I watch the two brothers and they are superb, However, Heather and Tori make the adventures feel like family loving in nature...home. You are both fortunate for your lives and wives. Keep sharing.
Hello to both of you, what a pleasure it is to see you together, happy in nature. I love your complicity, you form a true equal couple where you manage to communicate well and stay calm in all situations. What can I say about Bella, this magnificent little dog who is so friendly? We love seeing her in your videos. Thank you Ted, Heather and Bella for all these shares and these inspiring beautiful images. A big hello from Montreal! 🥰 🇨🇦
I live about an hour and a half south of the border in a ski town where 75% of our visitors are from Ontario. There's a Tim Hortons around every corner lol.
Ted: I see you also own several Canadian tuxedos, the grey one is my favourite. Nice setup, lots of fun thanks for the ride. Great to see Heather and Bella out enjoying the lifestyle. Until next time
The Pine pass in the Rockies between Prince George and Dawson Creek area used to have blue tinted spectacular ice scenes: north to Alaska had various areas …certainly in the 50-60’s
I often wonder what Canadians ever did before Timmy Ho's. Really enjoyed this one, great to see you 3 back at it again. All the very best from rainy BC. ❤👍
At the beginning I felt like you should have sang Slim Shady…..guess who’s back….back again…..we are back…tell a friend..😂. Tonight’s dinner is brought to you by Bella…..because why not 😉
The one thing about Timmies is everything is always fresh due to the volume. Nothing sits around for a couple of hours. Always consistent taste and quality. That said, nothing beats a Starbucks Americano!
❤💐🌼🌹 Hello, it's so nice to see you again, it's just nice to see you together and the love for Bella (what a treasure Bella is) I like to watch and a lot of bushcraft, but you are my favourite! when I see you guys busy I wonder would these 2 ever have a fight at all, it looks like an ideal happy couple to me! God bless from the netherlands ❤
Hi Ted - Quik question. Whenever you and Jim are out in the bush, you always boil your water because of giardia, but yet when it is snowing you fill up your water bottles straight out of the lake. Does giardia parasites freeze? Thanks Bro,-Randy
Hey Randy. Good question. I did boil the water I collected here or treated it with water tabs. Jim often does not in winter annd certain lakes and in certain situations when the likelihood of Guardia is low, however it is best practice to treat the water no matter the time of year 👍
I was watching and right after the trail cam it jumps to you cutting wood. I saw a light coming up behind you and was like watch out then realized it's your lovely wife 😂😂😂
Loved this… love the report between your beautiful wife and yourself. I can only tell you and your brother apart from the wives, not sure if you’re twins or not but you are so alike 😂😂 We have Maynard sweets here in the U.K. we don’t have Tim Horton tho.
That's true they starred moving into New York State I think a few years back and probably expanded since. I think Burger King bought them also so now they r an American owned company also
@@TheRealTedBaird According to Google, Wendy's bought Tim Horton in 1995 for $425 million. Wendy's (1995~2006). Tim Hortons parent organization Wendy's, Restaurant Brand Internatonal (2014~present).
Thanks I give it a 7....it's great when set up but takes a while and is a bit of a pain. But since it just has rhe one pole it's to be expected. But for that reason it gets a 7 🍻
It depends on how cold it is. Powder is pretty common but isn't a big issue when it's -10°c or lower because once disturbed, it will harden very quickly and firmly. The colder it is, the faster this will occur. It will still happen at -2°c just takes longer. Typically, once it gets much warmer, you are dealing with wet packing snow. However, in a strong wind, when you can't wait for the snow to firm, a bigger snow anker is needed. Some people bring parachute like ankers that don't stake they are essentially buried bag. They work well in powder and quickly...a much larger burried stick as i used here would also work when done right......But as far as this tent goes it is timely to set up in most any situation as it only has one pole and without perfect placed trees each tie off needs to be made and placed exact. But it is pretty sweet once set up and roomy
I’ve be been to Timmy’s many times when we travel to Ontario to go fishing, and I don’t get the hype; it’s like gas station food and coffee in the states. 🤷
That's why I compared it to Dunken Donuts, neither are that great, better than gas station, but not a lot, lol. ....but honestly, I think what got people hooked on timmies was that their coffee always tastes the same. For example, if you like a double double, it will taste the same as a small or xl as their machine ads more or less sugar or creme depending. No where else does this so the coffee tastes different all the time or you have to add the sugar or creme yourself etc.....so it think that helped a lot then it kinda took off as it became super popular and was everywhere and ppl hyped it because it was canadian, only in Canada, and was originally stated by a Canadian hockey player Tim Horton. I believe it has been bought out by an American chain now. Like most things hyped they are over hyped
I'm trying to convince my girlfriend to go camping with me, so I suggested she watch this video with me. Now she seems excited to go but before she commits, she wants to know how y'all take care of the bathroom situation when you're out camping? Seems she's not too keen on just hanging it out there... so, any chance you might address that in a future video?
No need to camp in a floor-less tent today😂. Wght. Not a problem. Dry floor wearing only socks is a great comfort. It’s no longer considered masculine or roughing it not to have a dry tent no mud no snow. Thumbs down on technique 😢.
Disagree. When winter Camping with a Woodstove floor less tent is best and necessary for the stove unless it is in a separate floor less section. Of course there are all sorts of different designs but generally this is the case
#1 when I saw the video title I figured you'd be joined by your brother, wives, and 17 other overzealous canadienne youtubers. thank god it wasn't that. #2 it's early in the morning for me trying to roll a joint have some orange juice i did not need to see nipple that early on in the video
