this has nothing to do with paddles but the white button for L1 won't click for the mouse click triggers and i wanted to know if you had an idea how to fix it?
Hardest part of mod was screwing the 2 small screws for the back plate they just didn't want to screw in all the what were your guys hardest part or a part you got suck on?
I installed it a year ago. Works well up until a few months ago it would work then not work all of a sudden. I wonder if it's a bad connection or the ps5 update killed it.
Love your products and I was wondering if you guys had considered adding the SAX buttons that the Scuf envision pro has next to the triggers. I know that your remap kits have supported up to 6 remappable buttons since the DS4 version so you’d only need to add a bit of extra plastic to the back plate to hold the buttons in place. Possibly even button covers that work as a blanks like the envision has for the SAX buttons when one isn’t needed
Possibly the main flex cable or the back paddles main board. Please contact our customer service via email at retail(at)extremerate.com for the replacement
So I have to press super hard to get the k3 & k4 buttons to click any fix to this? So I found out that if you put some the eva tape over the k3&k4 it will make the buttons way easier to press. Also when putting on the back plate make sure you snug those screws pretty tight you don't wont that thing shifting when you press buttons.
At around 9:30 when you "alilgn the connection points of the PF Rise FPC with with the controller conductive film and fix them together" do you remove the original film that is there? I can't get the back buttons to turn on and that is the only step I wasn't sure about so I just put the piece on top of the original film.
Unless I’m mistaken (I’m on mobile) or somehow it isn’t available on my device, ExtremeRate absolutely needs to ensure these tutorial videos can be available in HD. These kinds of videos should never be stuck at SD resolution of that is the case.

Hello, regarding the grip for the controller, do we have to take a rear shell with the integrated grip or can we add it afterwards? At least add a grip before installing the paddles?
Hi all, my English is weak, can I ask a couple questions to make sure of a couple points: 1) if I don't need the touchpad, can I skip soldering the small wire at the beginning without touching anything at all? 2) second point with the soldering can I not solder at all, but do it for a more secure fit? Does this apply to buttons r1, l1, r2, l2? Or in general for all buttons up to our future buttons (all buttons except touchpad)? OR if it is r3, l3 only, and I don't need r3 and l3, this wire is not needed at all and everything soldered in the video can be skipped? 3) Honestly, I didn't understand why the 4 black squares in the corners are needed. Thanks a lot for the video, could you please add the questions at the end in the “description” so I can throw them into the translator.
Hi, 1) Yes. 2)You can do not solder at all, only L3 R3 will not mappable to the back paddles. 3) The 4 black square plastic is required because it will help to secure the main board of the controller.
Extreme rate. I thing your products are perfect but there is a problem. You see I took of my bumpers on my ps5 controller and tried to put on the Crome red, but it did not fit. It was to big on the inside of the bumper. And I customize my other one with gray bumpers and it was still to big. I’m not sure if this is my issue with my controllers.Thank you for your products

Hey there! I am not able to find your PS5 great wave plates on your website I wanna order them and might as well some other things to make my ps5 creative can you please either send a link or restock if not in stock
The touchpad and L3 and R3 will work like normal of you skip soldering. You only have to solder if you want to remap one of those specific buttons to the Rise buttons.
Pin me 0:38 start 4:04 Soldering the toch pad (if you dont wanna Solder dont take it out of its shell and skip to 9:20) 6:50 Soldering R3 & L3 9:20 instaling fpc cabel
Only difference between the old way and this way is that you don’t need to use the foam pad underneath the ribbon on the bottom of the board and you put those hard plastic pieces on the corners which they never tell you what they are for so not really a huge difference. Also just a personal opinion but the so called rubberized grips are just a different color texture plastic! Not a rubberized grip at all but atleast it has enough texture to make a difference I suppose.
Thanks for clearify for us. And for the rubberized grips, we can make them softer and then they will become really grippy but they will become undurable at the same time :(
@@Aaron6791ae yes I did use the little foam pieces to keep the noise down but also to help lessen the wear on the joints that it pivots on. Also may just be my personal preference but the slight resistance it gives the paddle feels better than it moving completely free. I will say that you should take your time to make sure and compress the squares and bend the paddle like in the video until it clicks freely with just a slight resistance shouldn’t be so hard to click the paddle that you can’t do it with a single tap of your finger.
