Recently, I stopped thievs operations in Oxford Street . The woman was blocking others' views and the man unzipping the Japanese tourists bag whilst the group of Japanese tourists walking so I intervened and stopped their operation. I held him, but his crime partner disappeared he was keep saying please please please...an eastern European gypsy." Eventually, I had to let him go. There were no police on the sight and was getting dangerous for me.
Police seem disinterested to act on this. So much on Westminster Bridge, and now Ice Cream vans, trinket and jewellery hawkers , fast foods and nuts on sale. Nothing is done to move them on as they block one lane of traffic and the footpath gets jammed packed. People trying to prevent these scams are putting their life on the line.
Also be wary of people asking for help. My mum was asked for help by 2 eastern Europeans. They slashed her bag and stole her purse. When she described the people to the police, she was called racist for saying they were eastern European. Thanks a lot to those police , just what my mum needed after losing her shopping money to a pair of thieves
I will be soon travelling to London. Its always better to see what are the scams happening in city before visiting one. Thank you for making this video. 👍
The flower scam is a classic that goes on in all cities. I had her approach me in Trafalgar Square a month ago. Basically told her to fuck off. It's sad though because these women are lured into it by drug cartels and are often homeless or in poverty, but they get little to no money that is given to them.
@marcusbingham1625 I'm sure it'll come in handy for something? I don't belive people get scammed with their wallet in their left pocket on an escalator... Safe than sorry I guess.
The 3 cup game is worldwide. Never heard of the lucky forehead one.the flower selling is old,They used to have people going around pubs selling roses. Fake theatre tickets also apply to fake football tickets.
I totally appreciate your enthusiasm to stop scammers. And the aggressive ones are horrible they will corner family’s women etc and hassle you to buy. Anything from MODELS of Big Ben to post cards of the Fffing effeil tower no joke. ..
The fake auction scam and the shell and pea scam have been around the track more times than a whippet now the contactless debit / credit card scam is very doable as anyone can purchase a card reader terminal like sum-up but the transaction can always be traced but I guess small amounts of money may not be noticeable.
All this advice is common sense as far as I'm concerned. Any adult of reasonable IQ should already know not to hand over your cash to random strangers on the street.
I'm in London every year and I've never run into any of these scams. I did see the 3 cup thing at Checkpoint Charlie in Berlin a few yearsa ago but never saw that in London.
Is there some sort of scanning machine that dummies are susceptible to ? Do they get scanned or canned !!! "Only dummy get scanned" !!! What a top comment !!!!!!!! Loving it large !!!!
A fool and his money are easily parted. I was in Prague (Amazing City) and told the scammer that I had no change so she whips out an ATM portal machine.
Keep your credit card in a Faraday wallet. Had my card cloned on a rare visit to London. Scammer stupid enough to try and buy over £100 of goods in Dublin contactless..
I remember the three cup scam outside queensway tube with a greek and a couple of paddies in the late 50's ,the police didnt have radio's then but they got nicked all the same 😂😂😂😂
Do they still have the fake munks? That put a bracelet on your hand and expect money and when you don't give it, they turn rude and take the "free" bracelet back?
Ha ha. I,ll bet the scammers are not British E*nglish. Come to Krakow Poland...none of these scams not one of them.....worst that can happen is a Taxi Driver who overcharges.
@@mikeball6182 There are no escapes from some scams...even in Poland they have those EURO-card machines that will try to give you a huge amount of money at a terrible exchange rate, that you don't want.....But my point is that there is nothing in Krakow that is 'In Your face, on the street'....and when I was a young soldier, I loved the clip joints (in West Germany)...it is all experience for a young man, fun, but expensive fun..bit like running a big old American car. But there are no Africans trying to put bracelets on you, no cups game run by Albanians.....not saying there are none, but I have never seen any or those people that dress up and charge you for a photo with them. You could say that the 'horse and carriage rides are a 'scam' Most of the carriages you will find have a pretty girl on board who speaks English and will entice you to take a ride.....But as soon as you pay up, she gets off and some fat old sweaty bloke, with a roll up in his gob, will drive the horse and carriage....I think there is only one carriage that is operated by girls/women alone, I recommend them, they are fiendly and you can have pics with them in the price of the carriage ride. Poland has criminal Police and also 'street Police' who also carry guns and have power.....they would see off an Albanian cup game in minutes and the Albanians/etc would likely suffer contusions/bone breaks on their way to be 'processed'.....Why do you think that money change scam guy goes to Prague to flog his fake rubles??? He would be in prison quick sharp in Poland.
The irony of the woman selling flowers during a London scam video. Hilarious.

Talking about scams…. Then the gypsy scammer arrives loooool 🤣🤣🤣
Gypsy my arse, Illegal Romanian more like.
It's her weekend hobby. Mon-Fri she's an NHS Doctor.
A card reader is only like £20, so be careful with your "Cards only!" reply. One day they might pull out a card reader.
What has my poor Capitol City become???

Being English, the best advice I can offer is, avoid London!
There are almost no English people there now.
A place best avoided.
@5:00 I've seen that woman the tube before, trying the same scam! thats what prompted me to look at this video. She's been doing this for years.

I have a RFID walket that blocks the scanners. Dirt cheap on Ebay 2

Just take a small amount of money for the day ... leave credit cards licence passport iphone(buy a cheap phone) etc at hotel safe.

They do that scam in all major cities. I’ve seen the same thing in Berlin Germany.
Thank you sir! This will help a lot of tourists, well done!
very good upload
thanks
p.s. come on the flower seller ????
yes its a scam

Top man. A very worthwhile video. I wish ALL tourists could see it.
Deserves more subs
Thanks for the info to people.
The 3 cup trick.......They've been doing that since time immemorial. There will always be mugs falling for it.
For the third one regarding the wallets in your pocket! Get a RFID wallet! It will protect your card from that scam!
Is it possible to keep cards (with chips inside) in aluminium foil wrap to prevent the card readers?
Never give your card details on the phone , or over an smart phone App .
Really informative video
Romanian you know what...

If someone came up to me and said 'You have a lucky forehead' I'd say 'Well you don't so fuck off'..........................
I’m glad I watched this. I’ll leave credit cards at home and just use my phone when I’m down there.
Well London used to be on my bucket list. Not anymore.
I'm in London every year and I've never run into any of these scams. I did see the 3 cup thing at Checkpoint Charlie in Berlin a few yearsa ago but never saw that in London.
I've got the 3 cup scam video on my channel. Its a regular occurrence on Westminster Bridge

Kids roaming with 'sponsored walk' forms now.
"Please sponsor me and make a donation...."
I saw that woman at the end when I went to london
Get a wallet that has an rfid blocker
Beware of the trike ride in west end. They may charge you £10 to £20 per minute and are very aggressive to make you pay.
People who get scammed are victims of thier own greed and stupidity
Also avoid the "lucky" heather at the Derby.
I'm a londoner. You are right .. Besides....London is no longer a British city anymore.!

The 3 cups gangs are on Westminster Bridge even yesterday
Surely people would not be stupid enough to get involved in any of this nonsense?
If you see any of this, find a policeman ASAP.
Sadly many do even if you warn them , my reply was ok your loss
three card men, what about the fake perfumes and fake gold jewellery.
I will hopefully do a follow up video sometime and catch some live scans in action
I keep my money on a chipless card

They do indeed, especially around the Piccadilly Circus area.

I don't think we'd have enough areas to perform it though.
