Jas, you’re correct..The movie walk was filmed with the people walking the opposite direction ie walked to Kazimerz from Podgorze as Spielberg identified too many modern buildings which would have been in screenshot had it been filmed the right way. Didn’t affect the drama of those moments in any way in my opinion! Tom :)

Jas, the building you couldn’t identify was originally the accommodation for the German SS guards. The Ukrainian guard barracks were situated across the road from the grey house where the modern apartment blocks are. I broke the rules and entered in March 24 and there’s remains of washrooms and toilets inside. It was my 2nd visit after visiting twice in January. It meant more to me than the Aushwitz visit. I noticed in March that the building works I saw in January had really progressed. There’s more paths and a lot more signage as the area is being converted into a museum. Good video Jas. Hope you had a good time in India. I was in Delhi for 4 months and I had to go the Airport few times. I took the Airport Metro couple of times also the Uber. The Uber Pickup point is across the terminal. Both options are excellent and cheap. The Pre Paid taxi service is good but Taxi drivers are always asking for Tips after the journey so be aware.

It seemed like the train doors will all closed. How did you know that you had to go further down a bit? Were there train doors open further down? Or do the doors open as you approach them? Thanks!
