Thank you, Karen. I think you're a little biased because you know us, but we love you for it! We promise to give you more content where we thoroughly embarrass ourselves. Thanks for watching! 😁

@@lcsjourneyofdiscovery9049 Nope, Leo, not biased at all! 😁 Y’all just do such a great job of capturing moments at the right time! We, too, are campers so we can appreciate all the wonderful places y’all go & things that you do! And if y’all ever venture back to Myrtle Beach, try camping at Huntington Beach State Park. It’s our favorite place to camp in the Grand Strand area. They have a new campground (the South Campground) that has paved sites & full hook-ups! Some of the sites are a bit close, but nothing like the commercial campgrounds! Looking forward to more of L&C’s adventures!

We’re one step ahead of you. We’re scheduled to be at Huntington from May 8th to the 16th. You and Danny should scoot on down.

@@lcsjourneyofdiscovery9049 oh how I wish we could! We will be on an annual camping trip with 8 of our camping buddies at Lake Wateree State Park that week. We will be there in June, July, September/October & October/November so if u come back that way during any of those times give us a shoutout & we’ll do our best to make it happen 😃

Just watched your review of these two COE parks they are great. We saw our Winnebago View & gray Honda Fit in your Ortona South video. Enjoyed our week there, would definitely go back. As you said Ortona is a good place relax and watch the boats go by.

Thanks Robert. Yeah, Ortona was a great place. It was a bit windy when we were there and our stay there was interrupted by a family emergency, but we wouldn't hesitate to go back. It's also a bit isolated from civilization, but lots of campers like having that distance.
      Thanks for checking in.

Thanks Wendi! It really is our favorite type of campground. If you ever get a chance to travel to northern Georgia, check out the COE parks around Lake Lanier. Amazing. One of our early episodes is from Sawnee Campground near Cumming, GA. There are some blow-your-mind sites in there.
      Thank you for watching!

Thank you for sharing WP and Ortona. I am trying to decide between the two parks for a short fishing weekend for my son. Do you know if the fishing is better at one or the other?

Erin, they’re both outstanding but WP Franklin was our favorite and really is beautiful. The fishing is great near the dam, and best of all, WP has a corresponding park on the south side of the river that would be great to visit. Also, you’re much closer to civilization in Ft. Myers 15 minutes away. Ortona is great as a campground, but there’s an isolation out there that doesn’t exist at WP.
      Hope this helps!
