LOL! I can certainly relate to the concerns. Let me just say this -- anytime you mix water with Florida, there is always the chance for alligators and snakes. That being said, the vast majority of both tend to shy away from people, which explains why people camp everyday in FL near water and you never hear of anyone getting attacked by gators or snakes. Bears, yes. Gators, no. And just from personal experience, we've been to WP Franklin twice and in neither instance did we even SEE a snake or a gator. So I think you should be confident that you can tent there and never have to worry. Enjoy!
@@lcsjourneyofdiscovery9049 Awesome! Thx! Yea I’d say I prob don’t have anything to worry about lol, I’m from Ky, so there is prob more of a chance of getting attacked by a bear up here lol. Thx!
Spent two weeks on site 12. Fantastic campground.
Are there alligators or those big snakes there? I’m considering staying a week, but in a tent, and don’t wanna get attacked…Thx for the help!
