      @@lynebenoit5124 LOL, 6 days, it took a lot longer to get the pain/arthritis, hopefully you gave it time. Unfortunately, living this cray world of immediate satisfaction people have a hard time with the natural way of doing helpful healthy natural ways which have not the crazy side effects of chemicals aka drugs with all kinds of bad side effects. Hope its worked for you.
      BTW, my understanding, for some natural health Dr's say it works for osteoarthritis but not rheumatoid arthritis.

    I live in Texas and have grown moringa in my garden for six years. In Texas, it will not survive our winters but usually comes back from the roots each year. I start several trees from seeds every year to make sure I always have trees.

      Another video I watched said something about moringa growing well in dry, hard soil with very little water. So that is supposed to be one of the reasons as to why it's being promoted to be grown in Africa for indigenous people over their. (I would guess it would grow well in the Australian Outback as well.)

      I’m in West Central Arizona, Lake Havasu CITY, AZ. Just planted a 12” Moringa Tree got on line. We thought it died in the mail? Nope! Put in a 24” diameter pot on back patio, full sun. After 5 days and all the original leaves falling off it’s starting to grow and get leaves again! I’ll have to move it around if it gets too hot or the one or two days a year it gets down into the 30’s. I grow Citrus trees also and never had a cold problem for 23 years!

    Interesting, I've been taking Morninga for years. Powder in my morning tea. I recently looked up what the plant looked like. I used to be married to a Philippin'o person in my twenties. I made his mother's recipe of what he called chicken Kalamunggay. I now realize it's Morninga. Who knew it was so great? I guess I did😏 I lived in Hawaii we used to pick it from the tree. Fantastic. I'm back in Hawaii I'll search out the real thing.

    As moringa makes me itch, I will have to stick with broccoli sprouts, which I find very effective for GERD. Apparently Nrf2 doesn't just activate ARE, it also suppresses mTOR - though not so famous for it so I suppose the effect is relatively minor. Sulforaphane is a thiol oxidizer, whereas NAC is a thiol reducer and in vitro at least it abrogates some anti-cancer effects of sulforaphane. Don't know about moringin. I tried going off NAC for a while since I think sulforaphane/broccoli sprouts is better for long-term health overall than NAC, but my sleep worsened (have insomnia); I resumed NAC in AM and try to do the sprouts at night so peaks at least don't overlap. As said in video, there need to be more human studies in healthy and people w/ various illnesses, different age groups, etc. Should also mention that sulforaphane reduces expression of TMPRSS2 via Nrf2 activation - so I expect moringin would do the same.

      @@tymanalexander8875 It might help, depending on the type of cancer, as an adjunct to standard treatment.
      Broccoli sprout smoothies can be a bit nauseating, tho. There are a number of video interviews on YT w/ Valter Longo - he has done a lot of research on diet & cancer. Always check with your doctor first - there may be interactions w/ drugs to consider. There's also a relationship between cancer and autonomic function so videos on HRV (I have a playlist) & resonance breathing might be worth looking at. Hope you get better soon.

      You seem to have a vast knowledge of all the reactions created in the body by these super nutritious plants so why can't you figure out some concoction to help you sleep???🤔

    Love your edu videos, so great you don't shrink from the science and at same time let non-sciencers skip ahead…am I right in concluding from this video that, since you can backload myrosinase into cooked Moringa to activate the isothiocyanates by eating the moringa w daikon/mustard, that the same holds for eating broc sprouts w daikon/mustard? Would that skyrocket the sprouts' bioavail of its sulforaphane? Thank you

    • @outofthedoldrums
      @outofthedoldrums  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I appreciate that! Yes, your logic is sound: adding daikon/mustard to broccoli sprouts really does increase the bioavailability of sulforaphane!

      Kinda like how black pepper activates turmeric. I used to think black pepper was a liver toxin.
      They also put it in co e Q 10 formulas.
