The MLS making it hard for Inter Miami, and others, by not stopping during the Copa America. They shouldn't make it easier for Messi to win an MLS comp but at least do what every other football nation would do during a major tournament and stop so every team has their best team on deck. Very narrow minded view by the MLS.

'Tickets are unaffordable. It's worth the price of admission.' That's cognitive dissonance, or just a problem for MLS and pro sports generally. I love Messi too but don't have four figures to spend for one night out, where I also don't get Messi signing my kid's jersey, just crappy seats.

So what would you say is the solution? If they keep the tickets cheap, then the scalpers just buy them all and sell them for hundreds of dollars. Even with the high prices, they sold almost 67k tickets. It is what it is. If you can't afford tickets, then enjoy the games at home like I do.

I'm from the UK, excuse my ignorance but why are teams not promoted or relegated in your football leagues? They in our leagues have more incentive and deduction knowing moving up to play to bigger audiences/better players attracted/ more money, the opposite for relegation! @slaves329 @samplingmastersxlrg8660 Also, that match was early in Inter Miami’s pre-season vs a mid-season, inform Saudi team. That makes a HUGE difference. And Messi was injured & only came on for about 9 mins at the end to fulfill contractual obligations for the friendly. Miami were missing other key players, too. Plus as you said, there were better MLS teams then. So it’s not a good gauge.
