I dreamed of making a jungle hammock when camping as a teenager in the 70s. I'd put a rain fly over a banana hammock but didn't have mosquito netting so I'd get eaten. Teenagers can sleep in a catenary curve hammock, but as an oldster, I need a comfortable flat hammock. Integrating the air mattress and making it possible to use as a small tent when there are no trees is genius. This is a huge boon for motorcycle campers.
I’ve pitched mine on the ground while stealth camping. I actually used the tree straps on smaller trees that wouldn’t support my weight and it held the ridge line perfectly. You can also pitch it using hiking poles or some handy sticks. Plus, they’ll support big boys and girls. I’ve posted a video recently of a big guy trying out a Haven Safari, and my friend and fellow rider, Moto Giant is well known for his love of all things Haven. They’re built tough. FWIW: I spent a month motocamping last year with my Haven.. however, Moto Giant, aka Don, spent six months in his last year. That’s saying a lot, he’s not a Moto Little, that’s for sure. 👊🏽🍺
Best tent ever!!❤ Derek and the crew are the best!
Shucks!! 🌲😴🌲
Love my Haven Tent! Slept warm and comfortable down into the mid-20's with just the pad, the pad cover, and a 20 degree F sleeping bag.
Haha nice!! 🌲😴🌲

Yeay!
As a haven tent user, I sleep as comfortably in the tent as I do at home.
Our goal is to make sleep the highlight of camping! Glad we helped you acheive a comfortable outdoor experience 🌲😴🌲 Nature = Home!
Would like to see it set up on the ground as well
