    I love that you use local botanicals in your products. I'm always infusing oils or brewing something up. I prefer nature. I don't see a whole lot of people that do that, and I appreciate seeing what you come up with.

      @@veganforyou5751 I believe you can formulate your own recipes based on your goals and possibilities. I have formulated mine with several tries. It's not so tricky if you've been doing it before for the similar purposes.

      Well I get it in a block and then I chunk it up! You can buy wafers from some suppliers, I don't mind having to break it up.

    Thank you so much for making this great video with new products Ariane, very nice but if you had a hard time to get this ingredient Iselux SCMI how can we, way smaller soapers going to be able to buy a whole drum? I love your new recipe but don't know how I will be able to try making it with out the Iselux.

    Is it possible to make shampoo bars using the cold process soap method? I’ve got all the stuff for that. Otherwise I would need to locate and order a lot of unfamiliar products but is something I would like to try as well as conditioner bars. Thank you for this video.

      The pH is too high, it will lift the cuticle of the hair and damage it.

    Does Danox HC-30 replace BTMS-50 or BTMS-25 in a conditionner recipe?

      Yes it does..it also has a few other wonderful ingredients it replaces if you use in your recipe like CTAC..if you look up Danox on the website it has a great print out of all the info..in my recipe for solid conditioner I had to go up an extra 10%

      Sadie Di Angelo I don’t know that purple mice would do much. I think you should look into water soluble dyes as this is usually what blonde hair “blue shampoo” has

      Bee Lover shampoo 80g and will last up to 50 washes, conditioner 65g and will last 50 to 80 washes! Keep them nice a dry between uses

    Since it has a coconut product in it, is it safe for colored hair?

      Deborah O'Neal there isn’t straight coconut oil, it is surfactants and as most surfactants they are derived from coconut. Very mild and will not strip coloration from your hair. We have tested them on bleached, died and all coloured types of hair. The colour didn’t fade faster than usual

      Rita I don’t, is it related to coconut allergy? Many surfactants are derived from coconut. If I find info, I will share

      Rhonda Hoke yes they are! This specific formula we have tested on both natural and coloured hair since last July and it doesn’t accelerate the fading of the hair color.

      Botanical Kiss I have been testing several formulas for the past 2 years, with and without preservatives. I have come to the conclusion that for my own line of solid shampoos & conditioners, I wouldn’t use preservatives. Of course, I recommend that anyone makes their own research and challenge testings.     I love watching you make soap and stuff, but won’t you get in trouble for making “ shampoo & conditioner bars” since lush holds patents on those items, or is there a difference in what you are doing ?

      Brandy Gallegos patents protect a process. The Lush process is different than mine solid shampoos & conditioners. I have read their patents over and over (like maybe 50 times) to analyse and understand it and to make sure I wasn’t violating it.
