I prefer to buy new because I want to have the newest tech at the time of purchase and I typically use it for years. Heck right now I'm still on the iPhone 7 Plus and I really should upgrade this year. My phone battery health says it's 50% capacity so I'm constantly having to charge. I also think my charging port is worn out since sometimes I check and it's not even charging. I'm using the Anker Lightning cable so it's not likely the cable issue since I replace those like once a year.

That's definitely understandable. This is where I think a platform like Glyde really excels since they have the diagnostic testing IMO.
