This is stunning! I was doing this on the weekend and was struggling on how to waterproof the led strip wire connections. Never used heat shrink tubes (yep I’m a noob 😅), thanks for the tip!

Great job. It's very hard to find such videos. Most of them are talking about putting LEDs under cabinets.

I looked everywhere for this type of lighting scheme, and I'm so glad I found your video. Thanks for the inspiration! I'll be modifying this for my situation, but I now know exactly what I'll be doing.

The finish looks awesome but how did the connectors do in the cold and rain? I had done something similar but the wires oxidized and eventually stopped working

I've been investigating how to illuminate a curved retaining wall for months now - and then I found your video. Outstanding! One Question: Anyone have an idea on how to shield the LEDs from direct view (i.e., the only light one sees is reflected off the retaining wall). I'd much prefer not to see the LEDs themselves. Excellent video.

Is it still working? Considering doing this as well but wanted to make sure the waterproofing and longevity is there

Nicely done. Only suggestion I would make is to use IP67 rated LED strips instead of IP65 for outdoor application.

Nice lighting 👍- interested in knowing if this can be solar powered lights meaning how to use solar panel without affecting the patio decor

I want the flag colors shine my garage door at night,so that would require 3 kits right? then the side of the house to the front door to have a white motion sensor LED strip.

Hey I am curious to know if the strips stayed in place 1.5 years later? About to start installing LED strips on a long retaining wall but will go with 24V instead of 5V. Thanks.

      I’d definitely recommend the 24v

    Why not 25v?

I don't understand why some of your video has so little views!

Heat shrink went slow cause you used a hair dryer, lol ... next time get a heat gun.
After 3 years how has it held up ?
