Ahh thanks! im just getting started. its way harder than I thought into some ways, easier in others. just finding my grove and getting use to the camera.
Thank you so much! that means a lot to me to hear that. honestly. I cant wait to look back and see the improvements over time. And I really like the idea of others following me on the journey.
The Mint Julep is one of my favs. Funny story: I ordered one of these at a fancy restaurant where we were celebrating our anniversary. The bartender delivered it with a flourish and I let it sit for a minute or two. Just as I was about to take my first sip, the bartender came rushing over: "Don't drink that!" Returning to the bar he saw that he had accidentally grabbed the olive brine instead of the simple syrup. We laughed. I tried a sip anyway (why not?) and it was so weird to have bourbon in salt water, but not disgusting. Just very weird.
Just talking to my wife about fun summer Bourbon cocktails. Perfect.
always a great topic!
Spirit forward or does that matter?
A star is born. Great shooting, presentation, and editing.

First of all….great video and the history lesson 🔥. Why is your simple syrup darker? Demorara?
Love this!! Thanks for the history, I literally had no idea whatsoever about the Julep! (Typical European it sounds like!!) Subscribed and shared.
