aka raising cane’s & southern classic (northwest louisiana) sauce lol this is almost exactly their recipe. I’ve been making this sauce for 3 years & it’s great. goes good with burgers, fries, & chicken strips too
Substitute ketchup for some high quality thick bbq sauce [like Stubb's, etc. I rec anything sweeter like brown sugar or mesquite] and switch your dry hot pepper powders for some high quality hot sauce splashes of just about any heat level or flavor [I rec anything Cajun or Caribbean] and you have the secret menu Five Guys sauce. You heard it here, folks.
First off..... SUBBED! Also..... I really like the way you edit your videos together. Overall you're doing an excellent job delivering solid content! Regards
Patricia Heath long before there was Cane’s sauce, there was seafood dip. That’s exactly what Cane’s sauce was before they opened their stores. Furthermore, there’s doesn’t have a kick like this. 😏
So down here when you hear someone say crawfish dip or seafood dip, they tend to mean something like this to dip your seafood in. Now if you hear shrimp dip, that tends to be a dip made with shrimp. I know, it’s all confusing. 😆
@@TheCajunNinja - Wow 13 qt. that has to weigh a ton. I love cast iron enamel. Thinking about going for a 6 qt. BTW, I'm happy to help out. Gotta keep your channel going and your family fed! :)
I make a version of this sauce. I do add a little of the adobo sauce from canned chipotle peppers, and a couple of dashes of hot sauce. I use it for fried seafood, french fries, onion rings...shoot I even dip carrots and celery in it. Good stuff man. As always, great video. Big thumbs up!
Looks delicious, I like to add a couple squirts of Worcestershire sauce to mine for added pi-yaaah. Thanks for all the awesome recipes and keep up the good work sir!
Kinda sounds like wowwee dipping sauce (but better of course). Do you have any seasoning ideas? Like how Paul pruhomme has meat/chicken/seafood magic? Love your channel, you cook a lot like my momma. Keep on rocking (I’m from St. Bernard)
Love this and definitely going to make it. Very similar to my mom's recipe that she used it crawfish balls as a dip hers was Mayo ketchup a little mustard a little Worcestershire sauce a little lemon juice onions and bell peppers chopped salt and pepper. Granted this was a long time ago but I still make it occasionally
Oh yeah. I like to mix catchup and worchestsauce and Louisiana hot sauce and lemon juice and mix them up and dip my fish in that. But yours looks good as well bud. Keep being you buddy.
one thing about your videos that I love is that you have my favorite granite counters "Giallo Fiorito" and we also have the same silverware....Meant to be I guess.....Keep Crackalakin.....PiYaaaaaa.....Made this dip with fried shrimp.....delicious.....doesnt need salt....Perfect!!!
Brother, you know you're my dude. Every one of your recipes I've made (and it's been A LOT!) has been a BANGER! But I'm a little confused on this one. Is it meant to be a dip or a sauce? And where's the seafood/ crawfish part come in?

Mayo or Miracle Whip?
When someone from Louisianna says "chili powder", what are they talking about? There's many chili powders.
My kids love this i have made it several times!!
I’m over here in Lafayette, Louisiana and I’m having a boil tonight. I’m gonna try this sauce. Sounds like it will be tasty.
We all just call it crawfish dip but my grandparents called it remoulade
If you like a little crunch finely mince onion and jalepeno and throw in a teaspoon of relish. I throw a few drops of liquid smoke as well.
I make a dip really similar, but I grate some fresh garlic in it, really makes it pop.

It looks pretty good even though there's no seafood in it.
Louisa Lewis it’s meant for eating it with boiled crawfish or shrimp or what you would like.
So down here when you hear someone say crawfish dip or seafood dip, they tend to mean something like this to dip your seafood in. Now if you hear shrimp dip, that tends to be a dip made with shrimp. I know, it’s all confusing. 😆
