What’s up y’all? hope you enjoyed the video. Just wanted to leave a little comment. I don’t dislike the truck. I don’t think it’s a bad truck. I’m just having super bad luck with this one. A lot of it is my own fault. I’ll take the blame. It’s just fun to blame the truck, I’ll get it all sorted eventually and hopefully I did not offend anybody in this video🚀✌️
Fair assessment brother, totally understand your frustration with the truck it's super fun for what it is and certain situations, for what you're doing I understand it's not going to stack up well against an M2Cified Kraton Outcast or even an xrt would be slightly better in your bashing situation. I'm running a Firma 160 ESC with an outcast 1280 KV motor and it's way more responsive than what you're running from what I can see... much lighter weight and higher KV
Thanks Dennis it’s a fun truck. I’m just frustrated with it at the moment I’m gonna slap that 5687, 1100 in there and see what happens if that don’t work I’ll just put a bigger ESC in.
@AldoLoyal good post. So I did the 5687 1100kv 25/30 mod 1.5 same set-up as rich. I think if I did it over I'd do the 800kv. Mine gets hot I run my stuff like you do. I also did the hot racing bladderless cap with the m2c pistons just like my k8s and outcast. Im going through the same struggles you are with the x maxx.
Pretty good run except for the power issues. gotta say, those were some wicked fronties!!! give her another shot with a bigger esc, you'll see why she's so well loved around the world!

Great run my friend. Xmaxx is just different in so many ways. Tall and wonky definitely take some time to get used to. Max6 is okay but max5 suits it best for hard to extreme bashing. Good test on the M2C prototype 7mm shock shafts tho. Great run brother

The rig took over a year to grow on me and find the sweet spot to stop breaking it. With that said the RC madlabz body holder will stop your shell from flying off ever again during bashing you can actually make your own with yoga tubes if you can find the right ones near you🤙 love your vids dude fight on🤙

I’m happy my first 8s was the outcast exb. M2c chassis and the thing is a tank. Drives so smooth and jumps so much better than the xmaxx. Rich hardly drives his xmaxx and my buddy victor brings his fully upgraded xmaxx out and is always quickly broken. Plastic turd in my opinion. Looks cool and great for light bashing. Can it be turned into a big basher sure but all the upgrades and cost of the truck it’s a pricey basher for sure. My outcast exb fully upgraded cost me around $1000 thanks to a sell on the truck at the time. Same cost as the xmaxx stock. I really wanted an xmaxx until rich duperbash talked me out of it. Glad I listened lol
I’m with you on that. The OC8 is an unbelievable truck. Yes it’s heavy but I honestly don’t care because of how tough it is even a bone stock outcast will out perform this X max any day of the week good call on listening to Rich. I should I did the same. Have a great upcoming weekend and hope to see another video soon.

I’ve been struggling with my xmaxx too 🤦🏻♂️ I hate the way it’s designed it’s just a pain to work on.I want to get rid of it and get a 8s outcast..you definitely have some killer M2c parts on your rig so that’s a plus💪🏻keep aiming for that fence brother I can’t wait to see that👊🏻💪🏻😜

I don’t have an xmaxx but I do agree with you, for you’re type of driving I think you need the LCG arrmas! They just fly way nicer vans better handling. I heard the xmaxx is more for just crashing/rolling around but not for huge 200 foot sends. Some people say they’re the best and most durable but some say it’s not so good. It’s whatever you prefer and whatever works for you & puts a smile on your face! The only Traxxas I like is the m2c sledge. I sold my maxx v2. It just broke too much and was in its roof more than the wheels lol! Great video bro! Can’t wait to see your 10s arrma!!

Yeah man I’m thinking about putting the wide arms on this truck. I’ve had it for over six months and I’ve only ran it a couple times and every time I run it it breaks so it’s not very encouraging to run it.

Did you check the fan on the esc? Should upgrade it to the Protek ptk-2113 fan. Way better of a fan for under $20!
Yeah, the fan is working fine. I have a 35 mm rocket fan on there that motor just draws too many amps that jokers a power-hog
