Ozone Falls Tennessee Waterfall From Above

Ozone Falls is a 110 ft waterfall in East Tennessee. Sawmills were built above the falls back in the 1800's, but as a result of a flood in 1900 the last remaining sawmill washed over the falls. Because of it's natural beauty, scenes from the 1994 movie "Jungle Book" were filmed at Ozone Falls. The top of the falls is a short 300 yards from the parking area. To see the falls from the bottom and access the swimming hole, there is a 3/4 of mile trail that leads down from thr top.

I live less than a mile from this falls. I grew up swimming under this falls and repelling off the side. I have had a lot of fun times there. Tennessee is the most beautiful State in the Nation in my book.

We were there June 23rd, 2018 and it's very beautiful....just a few broken beer bottles were a problem there. Water wasn't as much as this video, but was still awesome to see!!
It's an awesome spot! Yes, I went there intentionally after I knew East Tennessee had a bunch of rain to capture this.

Did you hike out there or float?
hike... but the falls are right off of the parking area. Probably about 300-500 yards or so from the parking area.
Hello great video. I live just down the road from the falls. Have been there a few times. Had a question for you. Would you mind if I used some of your drone shots in an upcoming video I am going to put out about the falls? I do not have a drone and would love to show some of the above shots. If not I fully understand and no a problem at all. You did a great job on this video.

***** Thanks... no issue losing GPS. I never hiked all the way to the bottom, stayed up on top of the falls, but no issues.
