    I've had mine for a few months now and as you say not necessary but does make life easier especially when on your own.
    I'd always managed to cut them but this takes the hassle away and also looks more professional when your customer is standing watching.

    Good bit of kit. Especially as manufactures are what seems like each month making flue thickness thinner and thinner! The old knee on a flue to keep it stable no longer works unless you want to flatten it! Lol.

    I want one and I’m not a plumber, only joking 🙃. A lot of you Professional Trades are advocating tools that cut out hassle and make the job look even more professional. I applaud you all. Thanks for sharing.

    Seems like a brilliant handy product, only improvement I would suggest is another collar/guide which can be slipped over the flue to ensure a perfectly straight cut every time???

    Thats a good tool
    but one thing you cant clamp it and rotate as you cutting the flue for perfect square cut,
    should be some sort of clamp so the flue doesnt move as you rotate to cut

    Great tools but why they not adding cutting part also. Imagine like pipe cutter but bigger one you can adding to middle holder outside cut and small cutter for small inner line

  • @rayc1503
    @rayc1503 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    I brought one of these used it twice. It's out the van an in my garage. Much quicker with a cordless grinder. It's more a gimmick. Why create a tool for a problem which was never really there in the 1st place. Choice is your people.

    • @ericunited6925
      @ericunited6925 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I see your point.. If flue stability is the problem.. 2x timber V blocks is all you need make n keep handy. As for the inner flue... You must be seriously daft to get it wrong more than once in your career.

    Hello, We would like to contact you. Is there any email?

  • @TW-mp8zx

    Appreciate you guys are trying to make the workplace easier for us, but from my installer point of view its simply not worth spending £70 on something that takes up room in the van, and to normally cut a flue is 5 minutes work as it is.. also doing stuff the traditional way is the reason we have the skills in our hands.. as you mentioned at the start of the video, "you never thought you needed it until you couldn't live without it " that is a skill lost in my book..

    Just use an angle grinder simple fast and less hassle, instead of wasting money.

    Sorry, but using a grinder in what looks like an upstairs room, all those sparks and no extinguisher!

    Conversation topic. Am I the only one struggling with smart meter gas rates. I have the info page from gs magazine and am getting by and I know it's down to us to investigate/learn but could be more user friendly.

    So no face protection when using an angle grinder? Are you blind yet?

    • @PBPlumber
      @PBPlumber  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are correct this was very silly of me and I always use face protection now after seeing a mate of mine nearly lose an eye 😰
