Hi I'm currently working on the same cases but have to plot for stress vs strain graph. As for the stress I think I can just divide the load with column cross section area but how do I plot for the strain data?

will the results be different if we use solid elements or truss elements instead of wire for rebars? and if the rebar is located at point 65. , why is the stir up at point 30? I think it must be: 30+5+9=44

Hi, there I just wondering Have you ever compared the results of reinforcing bars by setting the element type to Beam instead of Truss?
In a simple beam, there was much difference in deflection when the element type was used as a beam or as a truss.
If you've ever tried it, I'm curious if the results were the same.

For those who modelled this structure and got this error:
"Too many increments needed to complete the step"
Simply tells you that it needs more increments. If convergence is just slow, simply increase the number of increments in the step definition.
You need to increase the number of points in the static set definition, and increase also the minimus step size (not the initial and not the maximum).
