I joined the Navy at 17 in 1977, the action backdrop is only a ' Taste ' of what the U.S. Navy Was/Is now/Will be, and the tradition of music is in every way part of Naval life.
Plus this is one of the best renditions of this song I have heard in a while.
Whoever said, "Work can't be fun" never saw these two sing! It's beyond just the song. The performance is energetic! I absolutely love it!

The Navy musicians are good but they don't know what the real Navy's all about because they never go to Sea. They are giving the rank of e6 because they know how to play a musical instrument
Hmmm....Shipmate these musicians are highly trained for their Navy MOS. Just because they don't deploy on ships doesn't make them less qualified to be in the Navy. Don't belittle your fellow Shipmates unless you have lived in their boots.

And they have deployed before. One of their musicians (Justin Cody) is SW qualified.
Elitism is a mindset that rots every organization. Not every person that joins the Navy goes to sea, mechanics, typists, shore patrol and so much more. We have used music to keep up moral since our country had a formal Navy.
What a waste of taxpayer money. These shamsters need to get a real MOS and get aboard a ship and do some real work.
