This is a Smoosh-Up I do in my traveling road show. Dennis DeYoung wrote "Come Sail Away" which was featured in a MOANA commercial. Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez wrote "Let It Go" which was in Frozen. Smooshing up soundtracks is fun. So is recycling.

My wife was brought onstage at a Puddles show to air drum this song on a cruise this past summer. We loved the show, and got to chat with Puddles a bit on the ship. Great guy!
Someday when you can't get to the infield of the stadium he is playing you will look back on the cruise and your friends will think you are lying.
If TH-cam has no other purpose than to allow great talent like this an outlet, it's function is complete. When I look into Puddles eyes I see the pain I feel everyday thank you my friend.

It is dubious that Styx for some reason seldom get listed as one of the great bands of the 70's but they should be somewhere near the top! Come Sail Away is a testament to their greatness and Puddles' voice was made for this song! Well done you Mad, Sad Clown!

I loved this cover 6 yrs ago when I first heard Puddles doing it, and I still love it today. Wish I could hear more of Puddles, he has such a great, yet underrated voice.
Michael Geier has always been a talented prodigy. He deserves so much more.
One of the things that makes Puddles so good is he knows where to sing these songs for his voice. A lot of the original singers he covers have a higher range they can reach. Puddles does not try to copy those guys, in a key maybe he can't reach. he stays in his power range and just belts out these songs and makes them his own. He must have studied how to sing for quite a while to be this good. He covers so many different types of singers and just nails it every time. That is not easy at all. He makes it seem effortless, but it takes a lot of work to be this good. It is way easier if you are Ronnie James Dio singing Ronnie James Dio songs all night. When you have to jump around to different songs it is harder.
Saw Puddles in Vegas and this was definitely one of the highlights. DO NOT MISS his show if you're lucky enough to have him play nearby. Truly an amazing experience.

Love this! Come sail away was one of my favorite childhood songs. I would listen to that song, close my eyes and visualize a whole fantasy. I would first be a fish swimming in the depths of the ocean and as the music intensified, I would travel up from the depths of the water and burst through the water and into to air. I would continue to soar up from the ocean and climb higher into the sky and at this point I was a bird, flying freely, swiftly, and happily! Always a great memory! Thanks

When you someone sing and they inundate “you instead of chew” chances are somebody has worked with them. Like Pat Benatar being a opera singer at one time and the same go’s for Ann Wilson, they’re words are crisp and very clear.
