    can you recommend any products that can remove or permanently remove algae?

      No algae removal is ever permanent but there are things that can kill it well if you’re using the tank and not using bleach. Though the names of products could change depending on where you live, look at the main ingredients found in US products such as “Wet N’ Forget” (alkyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride) or Krud Kutter House and Siding Wash (proprietary but nick-named Sporex).
      Mold Armor EZ Wash, and some others, actually have diluted chlorinated bleach and it usually comes in a form that can be sprayed with a household garden hose. In these cases, the company usually notes to NOT put them in the soap tank. I hope that helps someone out there shopping!
