Been going through all the Mega Man X games for white noise while i work. Only played X5, when i was itty-bitty and never beat any of the mavericks. Nice to see how these games, and the classic ones for that matter, evolved over time.
I wish I could do something like this. Every boss is a huge pain in the ass in this game. Only ever beaten Neon Tiger with the X buster but I still took damage lol. He's easy to rapid-fire though when he sits still to shoot his projectiles. Bit is really annoying to fight, still can't beat him.
Just to confirm that you chose the incorrect boss, even without no damage. Blizzard Buffalo isn't the first he is the seventh. The correct weapon is from Blast Hornet and Tunnel Rhino isn't the second he is the first. The correct weapon is Acid Burst, another incorrect boss. Blast Hornet isn't the third, he is the sixth. If you had the correct weapon which is Gravity Well. You wouldn't have to be jumping around all over the place. And on Byte you know you can use either Frost Shield or Triad Thunder on him instead of the buster. Because if you don't defeat him using one of those weapons then you will have to fight him again in the last stages. To tell you the true at least, you are following the correct boss order right now. Even though you chose two incorrected bosses but i guess everybody makes mistakes. Why the reason you don't use Tornado Fang on Volt Catfish? Because if you had use it you wouldn't have to be jumping all over the place. The same thing with Crush Crawfish he is the third not the fourth, if you had used Triad Thunder instead of the buster. There is no need for you to be jumping and dashing all over the place. On Bit if you had used on Tornado Fang on him instead of the buster. You don't have to face him on the last stages. Your boss order in some way is correct, since Gravity Beetle is the fifth. But you don't have the correct weapon to beat him. The correct weapon is Ray Splasher if you had it you wouldn't have to be jumping, dodging and dashing all over the place. But i guess you like to do extra work that if possible is not necessary in the first place. On Vile's robot you don't have the correct weapon either, which is Ray Splasher but you do have the weapon to use on Vile. That is Saw Blade but since you prefer to do more work just stay using the buster. Another incorrect boss Neon Tiger should be before Gravity Beetle. And again not using the correct weapon, which would help you a lot. So you wouldn't have to be jumping, dashing and dodging all over the place. At least the boss correct which is Toxic Seahorse, but i am pretty sute you arent going to use Frost Shield on him and just the buster. So next time do an research to know the correct boss order before playing.
I think he used the X buster instead of the bosses' weaknesses to make the fights less easy, not that they are difficult with the X buster, i mean, it's in the video.
Hey i have to disagree with you. Because without the correct weapon believe me if you don't know how to beat the boss. The only reason you aren't using the correct weapon is simply to torture yourself. Some you may take them down with the buster, but using the correct weapon will save you a lot of time.
@RafaelMelo-u4y I think that's the point? It isn't the guy teaching you how to go thru the level perfect, it's him bodying through the bosses for fun. It also (sort of related) gives extra footage for TH-cam people covering the games to have in the big. Non-important, but relevant material. In the end, don't need to nerd out over who used what for which boss in what order. It's all in good fun ❤

Its like 80% of the bosses were made by the same guy that thought up different ways for them to try to ram X
In a game where you can only take 2-3 hits from bosses as unamored X, it's a bit more of a threatening strategy.
Still not that much fun to fight.
