In just one word......WOW. I love this boat...
Very cute looking boat. What build quality!
Very nice boat, well thought out design and looks like high quality
This is the esthetic that I want in my boat , just gorgeous !
Bob, Great to chat with you at "Strictly Sail" in Oakland. Great review of a great boat... but then, I guess I am a bit prejudiced. Touring your boat was a delight. Keep up your inspiring life.

Hey Doc - the molds are owned by the company that built the boat we reviewed: Seacraft Yacht Sales in Seattle. They are hand-building the Dana 24 on Bainbridge Island (using some of the same craftsman that were at PSC). It's been tough, though. They started doing this right when they economy (and the sailing industry) was in its tailspin. They're good people, and they're trying to do the Dana the justice it deserves and more. And they should know, having sold many of them by PSC over the years.
That's beautiful
Really Nice little boat.
i love the dana 24 and glad to see production taken over by someone else.
That's a real boat, I can't wait!
Looks great!
Beautiful boat
The best boat I have ever owned. She is comfortable, sturdy, reliable, and forgiving. Perfect for a cruising couple. As for single-handing... the boat can handle that easily, but can you? Make sure you have a self steering system which demands no power.
Can you tell me the exact headroom? The video says "over 6'". I am 6'1. Thanks!
Really Nice
Beautiful.
Love the Smells of Fish 😍❤️🐟
This boat has everything
superbe aménagement intérieur, what's the size of the boat ?
There is a small boat to be very proud of.
Sooooo beautiful!
wow i like this boat!
What a beautiful vessel.
y4ukickmydog ,
Just Perfect!
Gorgeous. Takes guts to start production now in this economy - but it Seacraft can wait things out - this is bound to be a big seller. Not many other new build small
That thing is so cool
Nice boat
Since its made in the Pacific Northwest, let's hope they offer a model with a pilot house..
Nice .
Perfect
Nice
Wow!
Bob Bitchin'!
@abranco87 Why are you asking about the pacific? I thought you said Bermuda?? I would not recommend sailing this or any boat single handed if your new to sailing! It is a great boat if you can afford the price, as its very spendy for a 24 foot pocket cruiser. Good luck mate!
Great is the mast still 30' 11" high or more? I am planeing to build Ficka bio-docking islands with self bio-gardens that recycal all organic wast. It should be able to dock inside 1 or mybe 2 . I hope to make it to withstand 120' waves.

I Just watch the video Again and Man I really like this boat! Is this boat able to sail the Caribbean?
I know this is a year later but yes these boats have a great reputation for offshore and bluewater cruising. I know there have been documentation on transpacific and Atlantic crossings. Some have done circumnavigations.
6' of headroom down below is REALLY impressive on a boat this size. In fact there are no sailboats that I know of under 25' feet that actually has that kind of headroom. That being said, however, I would still rather opt to get a Seaward 26RK over this if only for the lift keel feature. But the Dana 24 is not a bad option at all for a pocket cruiser.
Pretty sure the Flicka 20 also has standing headroom.

Love! :) :)
I can't believe they stuffed that much goodness into a 24ft boat.
How does that boat look like it has more room inside than my alberg 30
They only produce this one and that was it. IF and that’s a BIG IF they started production again this boat would be $300,000.00 USD.
Wow besides the lack of a center steering wheel helm that is a perfect boat!
In a boat that small a wheel would be a real pain. You'd lose half the cockpit. Tiller can be easily folded away when not in use, and is much easier to rig for self steering...to say nothing of being far more mechanically reliable.
Yea true I can live without it! lol
Blair Coe I added a wheel helm to my py23 and can put the tiller arm back on in case of a failure in the wheel helm... cable etc
the biggest little boat I have ever seen. A bathroom on a 24fter?!

ocean cruising on a deck-stepped mast?
Does Westsail 32 ring a bell?

Whaaa...? D:
lol
wenches?? cooooool
Sweet boat but looks like sleeping would be just a bit tough for 2 sweethearts
It is beautiful indeed.... but you can go way bigger for the money.
how much it is
I Smell 🐟🐠
'Not my kind of boat, but very nicely designed and built. Like most sailing boats, it looks awful with a sprayhood. Sprayhood users should be more comfortable in a proper motor sailer.
Beautiful.
