Girl A is the protaginist, B and C are ''Don't blame me I didn't have a clue!'' and ''Well it's not my fault I'm innocent like you''. D and E are (the frog and cat) are a lot more calm in the argument (This is just my opinion though don't take this as fact)
Yeah I'm pretty sure the story is about the protagonist sharing her secrets with a small friend group, her best friends, and the secrets sone how got out. She knows that the secrets were secure seeing as how hardly anyone knew them, so she thinks there might be a traitor but shes reluctant to accuse anyone. After realizing it's more fun exposing them she finds out everyone had shared her secrets, hence why shes crying when she accuses all of them, and they all immediately defend themselves or out others and themselves like "don't you know that also what she claims" was originally "she said it too", meaning 1 said it and the frog girl repeated it, meaning she also told. In the end everyone is a traitor, no one is happy, the protagonist is right about everyone betraying her, and no one is happy.
@@Shuichi2.0 lol I looked way to deep into it I thout the password symbolized the friends trust and when they gave put the password it was a metaphor for telling the girl secrets
it’s made so that none of them are truly innocent. they’re all wearing gas masks bc of their toxic friendship, the line “you can smile wide and shake everyone’s hands, but it’ll never cover your obvious plan” the protagonist is the only one smiling. all of the others have masks that have a neutral face. they’re all toxic and none of them are truly innocent in the end
And it seems more revenge-esque to me? When it isnt online, the "bad girl" appears more timid and aware of the toxicity, then reveals the secret conversations to the world simply because she could
The actual story (translations from the original) is that the white haired girl had her password shared and she is trying to find out who it was but it turns out all her friends did it (this is not 100% canon this is what i interprated from the translations 🤗)
this makes a lot of sense though if this comment were to be confirmed to be true. the fact that her 'friends' were had another group chat talking about how they were pissed, and it seems as if they were scared of the white-hair girl finding out, but one assured them.
So just thought of this what if the other girls are supposed to be the Four responses to abuse being "Fight, flight, freeze, and fawn" like the bear is fight since she gets really angry when the rabbit accuses her. The lion is Fawn trying to stay on the rabbits side saying that she's innocent just like her. The Cat is Freeze getting scared about the situation and wanting everyone to be calm and the frog is Flight being fed up with everyone else in the chat.
@@tiredcatto5899 lmfao what on earth is your problem?- pissed bc some people are looking for a certain part of the song- This timestamp could be used for animators, or just someone looking for the certain part. Sometimes I don't listen to the full song because I only have a certain amount of time to be on the computer- Maybe just shut up because this person did something helpful, and don't go around calling random people lazy.
So I think this song is about a password, and a toxic friend group. The protagonist told her friends her password, then she realized it was leaked out, and someone in the group was a traitor. She was reluctant to point fingers, or accuse any of them. Afterwards, she finally realized that ALL of them were traitors, and they all spread rumours about it. She accused them, and then they all tried to accuse one another. But my question is the last line, about the high score, does that have a specific meaning?
I think the high score was kind of like a symbol that she cracked the code; she won in the end and exposed them for who they really were and the high score was a representation of her victory and their defeat (?)
@@hardstuck_styx I believe it is either her dark conscience telling her the truth about one out of many of her friends is lying, or it is one of the friends with the mask who is making up lies. Since we do not know what they look like, they made it so it looks like a copy of herself but with sharp teeth to indicate wickedness. This is just a thought though.
The reason I thought it could be her was that in the end when she finds out the truth about everything, she has the same sharp teeth as the figure did.
my friends had all ganged up on me at the choice of an extremely manipulative boy in our group. this song is exactly what happened, it felt like a damn danganronpa trial. i was doing everything to defend myself against six other people, the boy was whispering stuff to all of them. i was so confused and scarred, everyone was yelling and blaming me for something that was twisted to blame me. i’ll never reach the level of happiness i did when i caught them lying.
Little things I noticed that I think might be something but are probably just nothing: -The main character's hair turned white when she becomes her avatar, possibly to extenuate the fact she was under a lot of stress -A, B, C, and D are all wearing masks yes, but specifically gas masks. Maybe it's supposed to mean they can't be 'smoked out', or as both Robo Studios and bren baker have suggested, they wear the gas masks because the friends have a toxic relationship. To add to this, since the main character isn't wearing a gas mask, that could mean that the other four are toxic specifically to her or that the main character has no way of defending herself against their toxic behavior. -At the beginning it shows a phone with a message notification on it, which is probably gossip, but later we see the protagonist with the same phone, this probably means that she didn't spread the gossip in the beginning but rather it got spread around and someone told her about it, probably the girl with no eyes in the beginning. This is also backed up when the protagonist hesitates to get online and when she does the chat is much like a trial where everyone is playing the blame game. -Girl A is a bear mask, which is an omnivore, girl B has a lion mask, carnivore, girl C is a frog, another carnivore, and finally, girl D is a cat, which is a carnivore as well. The main protag is a bunny by the looks of her hood, and probably appears to be a bunny to the others if it's an anonymous sight, this could mean that everyone, or at least the protag feels, is out to get her.
So I'm gonna try to tell the story with my own view I might be wrong but eh, just criticize me properly lel. 0:00 - 0:05 :I think this is the traitors "accidentally" leaked the account 0:15 - 0:47 : the introduction of the story and it's more of how the 5 girls met and made the group 0:47 - 1:19 : The group started to debate who is the traitor and the they still didn't know who the traitor is after a long debate 1:20 - 1:30 : This is the effects of the leak which is spreading to the whole school which cause the bunny girl to became an outcast 1:30 - 2:12 : After a huge backlash into her social status she lock her self into her room and think about why did the traitor did this, and the musical solo in the video represents on how she downspiraled to turn as toxic as her friends 2:13 - 2:48 : After she turned as toxic as her friends (you can know she had changed if you look into her facial structure at her first debate and the final debate her first debate is more serious now it's joyful and sadistic) she realized who is the traitor is (it all of her friends but I'll explain later) and joins back into the group chat for the final debate and threaten the traitor that she will leak the ID (aka snitch on them) for the public to notice (it's all of them because she said "don't hop that evil scheme of *hers*", "I'm done all of you" and "everyone's is against me") 2:50 - 3:12 : The traitors was so shocked with her threats that they tried to denied the claims and just panicked (execpt for the white girl for some reason she might be slightly innocent but I have other evidence that they are all traitors) 3:13 -3:20 : the bunny girl had it enough with their lies and kicked the all of them in the group (showed in the 3:11 with the bunny girl sitting on all of the helmet which out the bodies) and to add a salt in the injury she is pretty much correct after she "combo breaker" them which gived her score of 999 in the end Edit : there's an extra thing I would like to say and it might be important too, and its in the other comments too that all the girls except for the bunny has a gas mask because their relationship is toxic, and bunny girl has no gas mask and got influence (infected) by the toxicity of it because new she is in this type of environment 2nd Edit : Watching this video for a day (got f**king addicted to this song) and my first theory has alot of holes and here's my newest theory might be wrong but eh it just for good fun.
Extra Detail : i never used the CC before but looking through it its a good tool for making a theory heres what i saw and interpret it 0:00 - 0:05 Never notice that the post-outcast bunny girl showed up in a milliseconds of the intro but its a huge confirmation the story is a re-telling by the bunny girl (if you look at 0:02 through it clearly, you can see in the background there's the bunny girl on her podium with no masked friends which means its her post-outcast/post-leaking the traitors id/post kicking them out from the group chat bunny girl) 0:15 - 0:47 There's a quotation mark (this thing " ) in some lyrics in the song which means its not the bunny girl talking its her former friends talking (or her re-telling of her former friends) 1:20 - 1:30 has the same quotation mark that means my outcast interpretation can be hugely right, and the fast part has no quotation mark so that means it the bunny girl's thoughts and every debate they are on 0:47 - 1:19 and 2:24 - 3:26 has the X and O appearing on bunny girl's face which can be implied as if she is getting the wrong person or getting the right one the first debate she is getting all of her X which because she only targeting single individual's but the final debate is quite nice too see her "everyone is against me" line gets an O which means *IM RIGHT ALL OF THEM ARE TRAITORS HAHA* oh and the traitors mental breakdown 2:50 - 3:12 has quotation marks for obvious reasons
Hey everyone, I just wanted to make a proper comment saying thank you so much, especially on this cover. This is the fastest I've seen one of my covers get so many views- I know many will say that 17k isn't a lot (which it isn't in the grand scheme of things), but it's A LOT to me. Like seriously. If this somehow manages to get even more views in the future I won't even know what to say I'll be so shocked lol But seriously... thank you so much? I read every comment you all leave and even though I don't always respond (mainly because I'm worried about being repetitive or annoying with saying 'THANKKSSSSS') I really really love reading them. Thank you so much, and I hope to keep doing my best at something that is really fun for me!
Oktavia von Seckendorff hey, I challange you to try fox's wedding OR the beautiful shadow of the demon's frenzied dance.Theyre both pretty fast, but if you did this song, you could probably do them :)Good job!
You don't know how many times I've listen to this song on TH-cam and SoundCloud. It's AMAZING! Like some have pointed out, only a week later you're at 27k! I've been going through some of your older covers and I love some of those almost as much as this one. Great job and keep improving!
If anyone doesn't, know this song is about someone that shares their password with their "friend" and they tell the password to another person, and somehow it gets around to everyone, and their trying to find out who told everyone the password
I always thought it was about a group of friends who have an online forum where they anonymously shit on people and gossip, like a hate-group. And someone from school found out about it, so one of them in the group blabbed. Im so tired of people comparing this to Danganronpa and Among Us lol. Its about toxic friendships. If your friend talks bad about someone else, they'll do the same thing about you.
@@canavero4288 I don’t think it’s really the PLOT that’s why people compare it to DR/Among Us, it’s more the actual video. The story is treated like a mystery and presented like a class trial in Danganronpa would be, and people are pretty much overlooking the plot
•lyrics• dont spill ok? its a custom to say Even so watch it go and spread around anyway this is a story you would tell with only your best friends listening where do I being? You were there through thick and thin thank you! I mean really cause you’ve made me so happy! Wait a sec security is a check! At least I thought so and it’s hard soft you know! Despite that it seems, our convo from last week is not for public eye your jokes gone awry! My oh my! Could it be everybody here has equipped a mask due to some delusive fear? And for gods sake please! Don’t you dare ridicule me! The traitors among us but which girl could it be? Come out, come out, whoever you are Divine judgement awaits youll never get that far 2, 3, 4, 5, catch a mole alive 7, 8, 9, 10, dOnT let them go again Just a moment please gotta tell you something that girl there, she only cares about bad mouthing I’m your best friend yes, and so with that I suggest you keep clear of her way See the thing about games it’s just more then raising something Much more then protecting something So much more then standing up and protesting So stealing and playing the thief Breaking things till only left is a piece So playing catch and release Fickleness the act of betraying It’s all far more thrilling thrilling It’s all far more thrilling thrilling It’s all far more thrilling thrilling ain’t that right? don’t hop upon that scheme of hers Wouldn’t you prefer? A lie ridden inside Full of dark secrets to hid And yet revealing them is our talent in pride Wait a sec you don’t even pass the check! Yea your treachery ain’t exactly quality! You can smile all wide and shake everyone’s hand but it’ll never cover your obvious plan! My oh my! Could it be everyone here has equipped a mask due to some delusive fear? I’m done with all of you! Your stinking up the room! Cut it I know your real ID See? (everybody’s against me) don’t blame me I didn’t have a clue! well it’s not my fault I’m innocent like you! don’t you know that’s also what she claims? this will never work if we all say the same! what the hells this I’m gonna be sick! that’s enough now! I’m just saying I’m so pissed girls A, B, and C I know how you must feel but your getting so carried away it’s unreal. come out, come out, whoever you are divine judgement awaits you’ll never get that far! with this combo breaker on my heels the high scores bound to finally be revealed
what? I guess that's why a password showed up in the beginning... here is a bunch of things in the video I found with 5 digits. "rabit" "500ID" "story" "convo" "pride" "idiot" "check" "smile" "shake" "never" "cover" "could" "blame" "don't" "didn't" "fault" "gonna" "girls" "you're" "combo" "heels" "bound"
I’m pretty sure they all were traitors, but it started with bunny girl/white hair. “You can smile wide and shake everyone’s hands..” As she says this, she has a very wide smile, leading me to believe she is guilty. Also the “oops!” At the beginning sounded like her.
So basically what I think: Blue mask told the protagonist that the rest of the friends that they were traitors and they leaked the password 2:14 and they tried to blame it on the blue mask and the protagonist (basically teaming up on them 2:482:49) And the blue mask was telling the truth as they didn't know that they were gonna leak the password and the protagonist broke the rest of the friends enough that they confessed 3:14 and the high score is 999 which I think it is saying that since she got it right and choose the right people to accuse she got the highest high score but idk that is what I got from it
"She only cares about bad mouthing." "No I don't!" I've listened to this song a lot of times but I actually never heard the quiet protest in that line until just now. Using headphones makes all the difference.
Silly little idea, she has black hair in the beginning, then white later once she gets involved with the friends, white rabbits are known to lie in london. I think the main girl is the one behind it all. the part where it goes ‘don’t ridicule me’ and at 2:14 ‘dont hop on her scheme’ its showing she is the bad guy, and the part where ‘are you an idiot?!’ shows the bets friend kinda finding out like omg why would i do this
2:13 assuming that the theories about the bunny girl being the one to start all of this and then losing control over the chaos, then this could be the scene where she tells one of the girls the truth and ask for help, but the girl laughs at her, and thus "are you an idiot?" line. And after realising bunny girl is screwed, she throws a fit, and accuses everyone else Plus, at the beginning of the song she gets a message, with the same laugh, and bunny girl's reaction is "oops". It could have been that scene
Unpopular theory: Maybe the protagonist is toxic. Here's my proof: Okay so I'll start of with some stuff than explain the other parts of the story later. Notice how every other friend is wearing a gas mask. The protagonist isn't, so this could represent the protagonist being the main source of toxicity. Another part has an x over the main character. Along with the part after the guitar break of the song saying " Don't hop on that scheme of hers." I think this could mean something. Another thing is the small part where it says " everybody's against me", a sign of a sort of victim mentality. Now for the story. The main character was a toxic, or at least bad friend. When she told the others her pass they could have been starting to realize they were a toxic friend before. The friends decide to leak the pass as revenge, becoming toxic themselves.
the protagonist doesn't have gas mask because she was affected by their group's toxicity, and she suffered which is shown in 1:52.... she acknowledge that she needs to find it out and threatened them with leaking their id and when she said, everybody's against me, it just meant that everyone is the traitor..... Well in the end she exposed their accounts too and she was affected by their toxicity
Around 1:10 gas masks are explained that they wear them to hide fears and insecurity’s while the protagonist is open exposed and trusting. They are guarded and unwilling to take responsibility. That’s my take … but yours is an interesting view point
Brown haired girl: Rin White haired girl:Rabbit Rabbit is Rins online persona as we see in the beginning a login screen with the words rabit_3A I believe that thats rin loging into the chat and shes the one who starts the gossip and people will tell her it like she doesn’t know when shes the one who started she dosent think anyone knows shes rabbit excipt her friends thats why it says i know your ID they know its her amd one of them plans to expose rabbit to be rin and she has to figure out which friend it is before they expose her i think its the blue one as we see her try to reason with her to join her (maybe as a last ditch attempt to stop her) but she dosent instead she is extremely close before time runs out (theres a little timer in the corner of the screen) because she was so close she got a 999 insted of 1000 she wasnt able to stop them from telling everyone rin was rabbit. Think of the arguments sort of danganronpa trial like where its constant rebutles debates and blaming and rabbits the protag trying to expose the one whos trying to expose rabbit I say that because it says something about not being able to ecape divine justice i think thats the trator telling her shell pay for staring the drama I also think the friend group is kinda like a drama group who gossips and spreads it around and a friend in the group dodnt like it and wanted to expose them or more specifically rin
Cairo Anthony rin is just the name i gave the brown haired girl we see when rabbit girl isnt on the screen like in the beginning the brown haried girl with red eyes at 1:25 you see her
Rabbit was also kinda begging blue. Don't hop aboard that sceme oh hers. It's like telling her:" Don't believe her, she is lying." Trying to not get exposed
2023 Update: I met MinusP (as well as JesusP) the producer for the original song yesterday. I was shocked they well knew who I was when I came to say thank you for tweeting praise for my cover. I just wanted to add this here since nothing means more to me than praise from the original creator themself, and I’m glad making this cover allowed me the chance to meet them in person and have such a conversation where I could tell them how much I loved their works. :’) Hey everyone, I see a lot of comments asking for this to be on various streaming platforms and unfortunately it’s not my place to do so, since this song doesn’t belong to me and by using the free instrumental I agreed to not use my derivative commercially. I’m sorry, but I hope you understand. I didn’t really expect my cover of this song to get this popular, I’m really just a mere Vocaloid fan who wanted to sing their favorite song! I appreciate how much you’ve viewed my cover of this wonderful... Wonderful Opportunity song. It’s a song I love a lot. It would mean a lot to me if you checked out their channel since they have lots of good songs (and I get happy when people get into something cause of my covers like that’s the whole reason I do covers tbh, to push my music taste onto others LOL): th-cam.com/channels/pJgF7I5iSL5_a3xtXgQJvw.html
My theory: The pro-tag (white hair) did it. Let’s indicate the laugh and “whoops” in the beginning, it is really close to the pro-tag’s voice or atleast is the pro-tag’s voice. She kept a big wide smile well saying “You can smile wide, and shake everyone’s hand! But it’ll never cover your OBVIOUS plan!”, It is clear that she might as well be talking to herself on that, although it seems directed to a specific girl. The username in the beginning (Which is supposedly for who did it) said “rabbit”, and the pro-tag is the only girl who has something that seems to be a rabbit (an example, her hoodie.) im editing this just to say my capitalization in the comments and some of the capitalization here too is so funny and the misspellings but anyway this is a valid theory ngl though i think this song could be more about some kind of toxic relationship between a group now more than some kind of literal murder trial

My theory; You see the first thing I noticed was The phone... the girl with the black hair and the pink phone.. When they show the phone the next time They show the same pink phone! And the bunny girl and the girl with the black hair... They have the same hair! And in a scene it shows them flickering as if they are the same person! And who do I think is the traitor? I think it’s the bear! Because it shows the girl who may be the protagonist begging the bear for something.. And then on her phone, it shows the bear insulting someone.. might be the bunny! I think the bunny doesn’t have a mask because She doesn’t think her relationship with her friends is toxic And she is being framed Edit 1; Here is a question to help you make a theory of your own! “Why are they animals?” Another question! “At the end why are the numbers 999?” These are my original questions!
I think they're animals because they're wearing masks Maybe they're all wearing masks because they're all the traitor? "Im done with all of you" Does she feel that because theyre all the traitor? "Everyone's against me" Is that so because the 'everyone' shes talking about is her friends? The numbers at the end can reveal the traitor(s) If you look closely to the weird trial stands, they all have the same numbers on them:000. But at the end of the song, there were 3 different numbers:999. It doesn't exactly look like the trial stand, but its kinda similar Also,in the Japanese version she says: "The traitor is all of you"
Buckle in kids, I have a rather off the walls theory as to the story- So, I feel like everything is far more literal than some of us think. I believe that this 'game' is some form of online private quiz or debate type thing. You have an account with a 'mask' (your online persona) and are given questions by a system, usually about a trait someone in the game has. From there, it's a sort of courtroom where you debate to find out who the answer is. Our protagonist (girl with the bunny mask) is given the login info (hidden account history) of a fellow student who no longer plays, for one reason or another. (Maybe the girl who "only cares about badmouthing?") From there, she joins each of this group's sessions, posing as the account previous owner. Until the system gives one certain question- who posted screenshots of last week's debate online? Someone logged into the account, took screenshots of the session, and posted them on the internet. ("Our convo from last week is now for public eye") From there, it's a desperate attempt for the protagonist to stay in character and not give away that it was "her" account that took the screenshots. At first, she succeeds. Then the system does something it's not supposed to. "Quit it I know your real ID." The system sells out that the protag is not the original maker of the account. From there, everyone else answers that she is the answer to the systems query. Instead, the protagonist gets a high score (the highest possible score in the game) and the other accounts in the group are permanently deleted.
This should be a story for real tho. The idea of a character finding a account to a game that meant to reveal secrets and get to the bottom of the account original owner while staying in character would be interesting mystery novel or anime if I'm honest
OH MY GOD. A GOOD COVER OF A SONG THAT ONLY CHANGES WHAT'S NECESSARY AND STILL SOUNDS GOOD AND SYNCED? YOU'RE A MIRACLE WORKER. IT SOUNDS SO PROFESSIONAL I'M SO HAPPY TO HAVE FOUND THIS!
Can we take a moment to appreciate that Oktavia probably did all of the different girl's voices on her own? Like, to be able to have that many different voices?
i think this is a excellent metaphor for their toxic friendship, they obviously spread around rumors and there was someone in the friendship who was a “traitor” and told. i think this is a story of manipulation that turned the main character into a toxic figure or at least that’s what i think the meaning of this song is. please tell me your thoughts on this song too :)
I really love Oktavia's covers especially her cover of "The Name of the Sin" but this one just doesn't feel like something I'd like... *A few days later* Ah what the hell I'll give it a quick listen, if I don't like it there's no harm done... *Two hours later* I'VE BEEN LISTENING IT TO TWO HOURS STRAIGHT AND BROKE THE REPLAY BUTTON THIS SONG IS AWEMAZETASTICOOL!!!!!!!!!!
My opinion: Personally, i think the protag started it. But, it all got out of control by the end. Im not gonna make a extremely long comment..but i might. So, the protag started, indicated by the 'Woops' in the beginning. Which is also heard in the original. It shows her, sending the gossip from her phone, which is our view. The protag probably did this out of spit or a fit of anger from her expression. Soon, the gossip spreads. She feels guilty as her expression is constantly sad and nervous through the middle portion of the video. As the protag never confesses, the blame game is played. Along with that, more gossip about each girl spreads. They were all gossiping about each other. Out of hatred. Yet, the blame game was continued, no one confessing to the crime. Eventually, the protage feels attacked, since she was also gossiped about, but, she also finds a weird pleasure in the chaos. Now, the ending. At this point, they've possibly figured out it was her, or was suspicious probably. She threw a fit, now here's the most important part i think is Octavias choice of lyrics. "With this combo breaker on my heels, the finale score is finally to be revealed" Then it's shown the '999'. Which is the protags and it could be considered any of the others. Since she started it all. But in the end, at this point, it doesn't matter. They've all have shared and leaked horrible things about each other. There's a slim possibility that they'll recover from this. Im pretty sure if they tried, the blame will again be shifed to whoever made the protag do this.... That is, if she didn't do it out of boredom, or something petite like jealously. But, most likely, the '999' aka highscore, was alluring to be the protags. Since she's the only one showed with a red booth. So it's, again allures to her being caught somehow, since she started it all.
Serious this takes me back to my forum days. When I was 16 and whatever pointless online drama was the most important thing in my life. Just all the over exaggeration claiming things as treachery, the insistence on distancing from certain people, the circular discussion that accomplishes nothing. Like aaa, all of this really takes me back to a different time.
Unpopular opinion: what if everyone but the girl are the "traitors" And at the last part she is just so done and when she says everybody against me she means that everyone of them is against her as they are all traitors besides she acts as if she knows who it is but i don't think its her because of the fact that she was actually weary at first
No the girl with bunny hat is the traitor she was leak the chat for fun . at 0:48 when start questioning her she gets so anxious and at 1:44 and 1:47 she says the act betraying it's all for my trilling so she's the one who betrayed them .
I actually agree with Some One,it's most likely all of them are betraying her,as the gas masks symbolizes how toxic they are , except for the girl who isn't wearing a mask.
I actually agree with this because before her hair turns white, she's nervous and almost scared of who the culprit is mainly because she doesn't want to believe there is a traitor, when her hair turns white and it says that it's thrilling, it's like she finally acknowledged that there is a culprit, and when it says, ain't that right, its like she's finally gave up her loyalty, and decided to no longer play biased. and when she asked the other person to help and it said that exposing lies is what we do, it's like she's asking her to team up with her. When the girl rejects the offer, the mc gets more hysterical and eventually concludes all of them are against her. She then at the end (when she has them tied up) it's like she's discarding them or no longer cares about them because of their betrayal.
@@louise2564 the bunny girl had her account password leaked and people were taking screenshots of her chat. she says its thrilling because it feels like shes at the end of a trial and just hit the big twist

At the beginning she's the only one with any score at all, everyone has 000 but she has 030, and obviously the score is meaning something important because at the end the lyrics even mention it with the 999. And, the girl at first seems scared or upset. At the score thingy her face has a blue X, which is the first time they sing the "My oh my could it be everyone here has equipped a mask due to some delusive fear". She also does not have a score at this point. Second half you see them with their scores, she's smiling evilly with the red O around her face. This is the second time they sing the "My oh my" part, at the same time as the other when they had the blue X. Then, at the "everyone's against me" we see the O for a quick second but everyone else has the red line across their eyes. Now looking at the numbers in the right upper corner. Starts off with .0:10 but it's showing the part where she has the red O. This is the very beginning of the video. The next time this number appears its .0:35 and it's when she is at the score place, first time and the same part she has the X. Then the next time it shows its .0:09 throughout the rest of the song. Not sure if this is important or not yet. But if you take those numbers it might represent the password shown at the beginning with the 5 numbers, 10359. One thing is for sure, it's not the time because on the phone it definitely does not say ".0:09" at the time of the message "are you an idiot?" Back to the scores, the ending score is the one with hers. Hers is the red one and it has 999. I'm not sure what all of this could mean, just dissecting parts of the video.
Is it just me or does it kinda sound like a song for chiaki (spoiler for danganronpa 2) like how there’s a traitor and it ends up being her. Especially at the end, “with this combo breaker on my heals the high score is bound to finally be revealed” kinda sounds like how chiaki is a gamer and it seems like the main girl in this song is the traitor too.(sorry if it didn’t make sense)
Yeah I agree! Also there's another part in the song where it says "Girl a, b and c I know how you must feel, but you're getting so carried away it's unreal." It reminds me of Chapter 2 when there was that game thing. I forgot who was who, but I know that hiyoko and mikan, and I think Ibuki? I dunno ima look it up. Edit : okay so I was right! Also the game was Twilight Syndrome Murder Case!
In my opinion the song is about the main girl having told a secret in the group that was with the girls, one day later someone told her a gossip about a girl who did something, she realized that the gossip was about her, and how she told only to that group of girls means that one of them was the one who spread her secret, then she finds out that they are fake friends and that they are the one who spread the secret
I think this song is more inspired by Doubt and Judge than it is Danganronpa, not that it really matters. The MV itself is more reminiscent, but I think the lyrics and the specifically the theme of having committed a 'crime' and needing to find the 'traitor' rather than the killer lends itself to Doubt/Judge. Also, the animal masks and phones being important to the story. I think it's very interesting! No in depth analysis, just funsies
Every time she is right she gets a O. She is right when she says her freinds are against her. She gets the high score when she sees everyone is against her. Edit: I just thought, what if the masks represent hiding secrets and their face represent the secrets? She doesn't have a mask, meaning her 'freinds' exposed her, but at the end she has their masks in front of her, meaning their face, (a.k.a secrets) has been revealed? That was her 'combo' exposing them as retaliation? Just a theory! Edit 2: maybe she said 'whoops' at the start when she exposed them? (A flash forward to how it ends) Sounds like something we all would do, if they have any saveragry! Or sarcasm.
God, im just gonna post my theroy in my own comment after this)) Personally, i think the protag started it.
I feel like she said whoops at the beginning because her combo breaker overloaded the game. That's why u see the cracked screen. (This is my opinion though so idk)
She sneezes in the beginning of the japaneese verison, and its a japaneese belief that when you sneeze, someones talking about you. This would suppor your claim
The only thing I can think of with the high score at the end is that at about 0:43 all of them are standing at these whatever-you-call-them that have 000 on all of them, like they’re all playing a game. The score at the end is 999 which is the highest you can go without adding another digit. The highest number in a hackable game, thus suggesting whoever got that score (probably the traitor) was cheating.
I like the fact that there are different pitches and voices for the argument part for girl A, B, and C

If I’m correct, this is about a broken friendship.
It started with bad rumors, then someone not keeping secrets and spreading them around the school.
In the end everyone is a traitor, no one is happy, the protagonist is right about everyone betraying her, and no one is happy.

it’s made so that none of them are truly innocent. they’re all wearing gas masks bc of their toxic friendship, the line “you can smile wide and shake everyone’s hands, but it’ll never cover your obvious plan” the protagonist is the only one smiling. all of the others have masks that have a neutral face. they’re all toxic and none of them are truly innocent in the end
Yep! The Traitor is the four gas mask ones!
@@tbagent8615 i interpreted it as the opposite. rabbit girl is the toxic one because she made the other ones wear the gas masks to protect themselves

The lion is Fawn trying to stay on the rabbits side saying that she's innocent just like her.
I don’t understand 999 meaning but When you turn it over it’s gonna be 666 that’s all I have ;-;
@@hardstuck_styx I believe it is either her dark conscience telling her the truth about one out of many of her friends is lying, or it is one of the friends with the mask who is making up lies. Since we do not know what they look like, they made it so it looks like a copy of herself but with sharp teeth to indicate wickedness. This is just a thought though.
The reason I thought it could be her was that in the end when she finds out the truth about everything, she has the same sharp teeth as the figure did.

YESSSS
Yea it reminds me of Sakura's trial from happy trigger havoc
The ending part honestly reminded me of the second game, chapter 2 when Mahiru died and the motive when it was the twilight syndrome murder case qvq
Little things I noticed that I think might be something but are probably just nothing:
-The main character's hair turned white when she becomes her avatar, possibly to extenuate the fact she was under a lot of stress
-A, B, C, and D are all wearing masks yes, but specifically gas masks.
Wow

OHHHHH
So I'm gonna try to tell the story with my own view I might be wrong but eh, just criticize me properly lel.
0:00 - 0:05 :I think this is the traitors "accidentally" leaked the account
0:15 - 0:47 : the introduction of the story and it's more of how the 5 girls met and made the group
0:47 - 1:19 : The group started to debate who is the traitor and the they still didn't know who the traitor is after a long debate
1:20 - 1:30 : This is the effects of the leak which is spreading to the whole school which cause the bunny girl to became an outcast
1:30 - 2:12 : After a huge backlash into her social status she lock her self into her room and think about why did the traitor did this, and the musical solo in the video represents on how she downspiraled to turn as toxic as her friends
2:13 - 2:48 : After she turned as toxic as her friends (you can know she had changed if you look into her facial structure at her first debate and the final debate her first debate is more serious now it's joyful and sadistic) she realized who is the traitor is (it all of her friends but I'll explain later) and joins back into the group chat for the final debate and threaten the traitor that she will leak the ID (aka snitch on them) for the public to notice (it's all of them because she said "don't hop that evil scheme of *hers*", "I'm done all of you" and "everyone's is against me")
2:50 - 3:12 : The traitors was so shocked with her threats that they tried to denied the claims and just panicked (execpt for the white girl for some reason she might be slightly innocent but I have other evidence that they are all traitors)
3:13 -3:20 : the bunny girl had it enough with their lies and kicked the all of them in the group (showed in the 3:11 with the bunny girl sitting on all of the helmet which out the bodies) and to add a salt in the injury she is pretty much correct after she "combo breaker" them which gived her score of 999 in the end
Edit : there's an extra thing I would like to say and it might be important too, and its in the other comments too that all the girls except for the bunny has a gas mask because their relationship is toxic, and bunny girl has no gas mask and got influence (infected) by the toxicity of it because new she is in this type of environment
2nd Edit : Watching this video for a day (got f**king addicted to this song) and my first theory has alot of holes and here's my newest theory might be wrong but eh it just for good fun.
Extra Detail : i never used the CC before but looking through it its a good tool for making a theory heres what i saw and interpret it
0:00 - 0:05 Never notice that the post-outcast bunny girl showed up in a milliseconds of the intro but its a huge confirmation the story is a re-telling by the bunny girl (if you look at 0:02 through it clearly, you can see in the background there's the bunny girl on her podium with no masked friends which means its her post-outcast/post-leaking the traitors id/post kicking them out from the group chat bunny girl)
0:15 - 0:47 There's a quotation mark (this thing " ) in some lyrics in the song which means its not the bunny girl talking its her former friends talking (or her re-telling of her former friends)
1:20 - 1:30 has the same quotation mark that means my outcast interpretation can be hugely right, and the fast part has no quotation mark so that means it the bunny girl's thoughts
and every debate they are on 0:47 - 1:19 and 2:24 - 3:26 has the X and O appearing on bunny girl's face which can be implied as if she is getting the wrong person or getting the right one
the first debate she is getting all of her X which because she only targeting single individual's but the final debate is quite nice too see her "everyone is against me" line gets an O which means *IM RIGHT ALL OF THEM ARE TRAITORS HAHA*
oh and the traitors mental breakdown 2:50 - 3:12 has quotation marks for obvious reasons

from what i gathered i believe it was all of them
It’s bunny girl.
It was all of them
Everyone’s a traitor at some point in their lives
I’m pretty sure they all were traitors, but it started with bunny girl/white hair.
“You can smile wide and shake everyone’s hands..”
As she says this, she has a very wide smile, leading me to believe she is guilty. Also the “oops!” At the beginning sounded like her.
So basically what I think: Blue mask told the protagonist that the rest of the friends that they were traitors and they leaked the password 2:14 and they tried to blame it on the blue mask and the protagonist (basically teaming up on them 2:48 2:49) And the blue mask was telling the truth as they didn't know that they were gonna leak the password and the protagonist broke the rest of the friends enough that they confessed 3:14 and the high score is 999 which I think it is saying that since she got it right and choose the right people to accuse she got the highest high score but idk that is what I got from it

And after realising bunny girl is screwed, she throws a fit, and accuses everyone else
Plus, at the beginning of the song she gets a message, with the same laugh, and bunny girl's reaction is "oops". It could have been that scene
But she looks too nervous to say that
Ooh but u could be right bc the profile pic is her
2:46 why is this part such a bop? The entire song gives me danganronpa vibes, but this specific part kinda gives me glee vibes
Don't let the debate stop NOW...
The friends decide to leak the pass as revenge, becoming toxic themselves.
the protagonist doesn't have gas mask because she was affected by their group's toxicity, and she suffered which is shown in 1:52.... she acknowledge that she needs to find it out and threatened them with leaking their id
and when she said, everybody's against me, it just meant that everyone is the traitor.....
Well in the end she exposed their accounts too and she was affected by their toxicity
I agree with both of yalls stuff
Lol I ruined the 100 likes
Around 1:10 gas masks are explained that they wear them to hide fears and insecurity’s while the protagonist is open exposed and trusting. They are guarded and unwilling to take responsibility.
That’s my take … but yours is an interesting view point
Brown haired girl: Rin
White haired girl:Rabbit
Rabbit is Rins online persona as we see in the beginning a login screen with the words rabit_3A I believe that thats rin loging into the chat and shes the one who starts the gossip and people will tell her it like she doesn’t know when shes the one who started she dosent think anyone knows shes rabbit excipt her friends thats why it says i know your ID they know its her amd one of them plans to expose rabbit to be rin and she has to figure out which friend it is before they expose her i think its the blue one as we see her try to reason with her to join her (maybe as a last ditch attempt to stop her) but she dosent instead she is extremely close before time runs out (theres a little timer in the corner of the screen) because she was so close she got a 999 insted of 1000 she wasnt able to stop them from telling everyone rin was rabbit.
Think of the arguments sort of danganronpa trial like where its constant rebutles debates and blaming and rabbits the protag trying to expose the one whos trying to expose rabbit I say that because it says something about not being able to ecape divine justice i think thats the trator telling her shell pay for staring the drama
I also think the friend group is kinda like a drama group who gossips and spreads it around and a friend in the group dodnt like it and wanted to expose them or more specifically rin
Best theory yet
Cairo Anthony rin is just the name i gave the brown haired girl we see when rabbit girl isnt on the screen like in the beginning the brown haried girl with red eyes at 1:25 you see her
Rabbit was also kinda begging blue. Don't hop aboard that sceme oh hers. It's like telling her:" Don't believe her, she is lying." Trying to not get exposed

I just wanted to add this here since nothing means more to me than praise from the original creator themself, and I’m glad making this cover allowed me the chance to meet them in person and have such a conversation where I could tell them how much I loved their works. :’)
Hey everyone, I see a lot of comments asking for this to be on various streaming platforms and unfortunately it’s not my place to do so, since this song doesn’t belong to me and by using the free instrumental I agreed to not use my derivative commercially. My theory:
The pro-tag (white hair) did it.
The username in the beginning (Which is supposedly for who did it) said “rabbit”, and the pro-tag is the only girl who has something that seems to be a rabbit (an example, her hoodie.)
im editing this just to say my capitalization in the comments and some of the capitalization here too is so funny and the misspellings
but anyway this is a valid theory
ngl though i think this song could be more about some kind of toxic relationship between a group now more than some kind of literal murder trial

(Whoops.)*
“Don’t spill, okay?” It’s a custom to say
Even so, watch it go and spread around anyway
This is a story you would tell with only your best friends listening
Where do I begin? You were there through thick and thin.
Thank you, I mean really, ‘cause you’ve made me so happy
So as a reward, let me tell you the lore. The hidden account history
Never a closer group of friends, yet something’s amiss.
Seems within the bounds, somebody’s playing foul,
Yes, we have what you’d call a traitor in our midst.
Wait a sec! Security is in check! At least I thought so, and it’s hardly soft y’know!
Despite that it seems our convo from last week is now for public eye. Your joke’s gone awry!
My oh my, could it be everybody here has equipped a mask due to some delusive fear?
“Ah for God’s sake please, don’t you dare ridicule me!”
The traitor’s among us, but which girl could it be?
Come out come out whoever you are, divine judgment awaits, you’ll never get that far.
Two three four five, catch the mole alive, seven eight nine ten, don’t let them go again**
Just a moment please, gotta tell you something.
That girl there? She only cares about bad mouthing (just so you know…)
I’m your best friend, yes? And so with that I suggest
You keep clear of her way
See, the thing about games
It’s just more than raising something
Much more than protecting something,
So much more than standing up and protesting
So stealing and playing the thief,
Breaking things ‘till only left is a piece,
So playing catch and release,
Fickleness, the act of betraying,
It’s all far more thrilling. It’s all far more thrilling. It’s all far more thrilling…
(Ain’t that right?)
Don’t hop aboard that scheme of hers. Wouldn’t you prefer
A lie ridden side full of dark secrets to hide,
And yet revealing them is our talent and pride?
(Aha, aha)
Wait a sec, you don’t even pass the check! Yeah your treachery ain’t exactly quality!
You can smile wide and shake everyone’s hands, but it’ll never cover your obvious plan!
My oh my, could it be everybody here has equipped a mask due to some delusive fear?
I’m done with all of you, you’re stinking up the room!
Cut it, I know your real ID. See?
Everybody’s against me!
“Don’t blame me, I didn’t have a clue!”
“Well it’s not my fault, I’m innocent like you.”
“Don’t you know that’s also what she claims?”
“This’ll never work if we all say the same…”
“What the hell’s this?! I’m gonna be sick!”
“That’s enough now.”

God this is 10x better when you’re actually in a similar situation..my whole childhood friend group is finally crumbling and im living for the carnage
My theory;
You see the first thing I noticed was
The phone... the girl with the black hair and the pink phone..
When they show the phone the next time
They show the same pink phone!
I think the bunny doesn’t have a mask because
She doesn’t think her relationship with her friends is toxic
And she is being framed
Edit 1; Here is a question to help you make a theory of your own!
“Why are they animals?”
Another question!
“At the end why are the numbers 999?”
These are my original questions!
I think they're animals because they're wearing masks
Maybe they're all wearing masks because they're all the traitor?
"Im done with all of you"
Does she feel that because theyre all the traitor?
"Everyone's against me"
Is that so because the 'everyone' shes talking about is her friends?
The numbers at the end can reveal the traitor(s)
If you look closely to the weird trial stands, they all have the same numbers on them:000. But at the end of the song, there were 3 different numbers:999. It doesn't exactly look like the trial stand, but its kinda similar
Also,in the Japanese version she says:
"The traitor is all of you"
maybe their animals cause it reflects their personalities?
Ok so, the girl is a bunny, and the rest of her friends are all carnivores right? Maybe its because she thinks everyone's out to get her?????

Buckle in kids, I have a rather off the walls theory as to the story-
So, I feel like everything is far more literal than some of us think.
(Maybe the girl who "only cares about badmouthing?")
From there, she joins each of this group's sessions, posing as the account previous owner.
"Quit it I know your real ID."
The system sells out that the protag is not the original maker of the account. From there, everyone else answers that she is the answer to the systems query.
Instead, the protagonist gets a high score (the highest possible score in the game) and the other accounts in the group are permanently deleted.
i actually really like this theory!
This should be a story for real tho. The idea of a character finding a account to a game that meant to reveal secrets and get to the bottom of the account original owner while staying in character would be interesting mystery novel or anime if I'm honest

I'VE BEEN LISTENING IT TO TWO HOURS STRAIGHT AND BROKE THE REPLAY BUTTON THIS SONG IS AWEMAZETASTICOOL!!!!!!!!!!
My opinion:
Personally, i think the protag started it.
"With this combo breaker on my heels, the finale score is finally to be revealed"
Then it's shown the '999'.
I feel like if we were in Danganronpa you'd do great on finding out the killer

I guess

BAD GIRL ONLINE LYRICS
"Don't spill, okay?"
It's a custom to say
Even so, watch it go and spread around anyway
This is a story you would tell with only your best friends listening
Where do I begin?
You were there through thick and thin
Thank you, I mean, really
'Cause you've made me so happy
So as a reward
Let me tell you the lore
The hidden account history
Never a closer group of friends, yet somethings amiss
Seems within the bounds, somebody's playing foul
Yes, we have what you'd call a traitor in our midst
Wait a sec!
Security is in check
At least I thought so
And it's hardly soft, y'know?
Despite that it seems
Our convo from last week
Is now for public eye
Your joke's gone awry!
My, oh my
Could it be everybody here
Has equipped a mask
Due to some delusive fear?
Ah, for God's sake, please!
Don't you dare ridicule me!
The traitor's among us
But which girl could it be
Come out, come out, whoever you are
Divine judgement awaits, you'll never get that far
Two, three, four, five, catch the mole alive
Seven, eight, nine, ten, don't let them go again
Just a moment please
Gotta tell you something
That girl there?
She only cares about bad-mouthing
I'm your best friend, yes?
And so, with that I suggest
You keep clear of her way
See the thing about games?
It's just more than raising something
Much more than protecting something
So much more than standing up and protesting
So stealing and playing the thief
Breaking things 'till only left with a piece
So playing catch and release
Fickleness, the act of betraying
It's all far more thrilling
It's all far more thrilling
It's all far more thrilling
Ain't that right?
Don't hop aboard that scheme of hers
Wouldn't you prefer
A lie-ridden side
Full of dark secrets to hide
And yet, revealing them is our talent and pride
Wait a sec!
You don't even pass the check
Yeah, your treachery ain't exactly quality
You can smile wide
And shake everyone's hands
But it'll never cover
Your obvious plan!
My, oh my
Could it be everybody here
Has equipped a mask
Due to some delusive fear?
I'm done with all of you!
You're stinking up the room!
Cut it, I know your real ID, see?
Everybody's against me
Don't blame me, i didn't have a clue
Well, it's not my fault, I'm innocent like you
Don't you know that's also what she claims?
This will never work if we all say the same
What the hell's this?
I'm gonna be sick!
That's enough now
I'm just saying, I'm so pissed
Girls A, B, and C
I know how you must feel
But you're getting so carried away
It's unreal
Come out, come out, whoever you are
Divine judgement awaits, you'll never get that far
With this combo breaker on my heels
The high scores bound to finally be revealed

Huh it seems true if i were chiaki
Yeah I agree! Also there's another part in the song where it says "Girl a, b and c I know how you must feel, but you're getting so carried away it's unreal." It reminds me of Chapter 2 when there was that game thing. I forgot who was who, but I know that hiyoko and mikan, and I think Ibuki? I dunno ima look it up.
Edit : okay so I was right! Also the game was Twilight Syndrome Murder Case!
Angie Yonaga I agree
Yes.. I very much agree
TRUE XD
Oktavia is the goddess we need but not the one we deserve
Doubt/Judge?
Will Google it...
2:48 is what 90% of you came for or came her from an edit
For me is just that this gives me danganronpa vibes
Or sarcasm.
God, im just gonna post my theroy in my own comment after this))
Personally, i think the protag started it.
"With this combo breaker on my heels, the finale score is finally to be revealed"
Then it's shown the '999'.
Nice
Idk I think she is the murderer for some reason
the girl: security is in check! at least i though so, and it's hardly soft, you know
