- Toyota Hycross was unquestionably one of the best products that came out last financial year, but it has its fair share of negatives too. In this video, we tell you all the big positives and negatives of this strong hybrid MPV. Besides a 2.0-litre petrol engine, it also gets a 1.7kWh battery pack and a motor that make it a brilliant mile muncher.

I think the boot space is not a negative point its a huge plus for innova hycross as we compare to other suvs
Exactly, agreed that one point was forcefully added. One negative that should be added are the headlights and wipers. Unlike the crysta I have , Hycross gets reflector LEDs where as crysta had projector LEDs with Auto leveling function, the wipers too these ones are metal ones with that cheap frame, crysta has hybrid ones that Lexus use. They cost twice that of the normal ones.

Yes true it need lot of improvement in panel gaps.. also the vx(o) trim should come with zx top model exterior according to the price point..like front led and turn indicator and also 18 inch alloy wheel..

Biggest negatives are that the Hycross Hybrid models are over-priced and the more affordable GX petrol naturally aspirated version is so basic and under specced !!
That has always been the case with Toyotas and Hondas. They aren’t as exciting to drive as Germans. Neither as feature rich as Koreans. But people still buy them for their bullet proof reliability, service quality and hassle free experience. These cars are mechanically sorted, easy to fix and easy to live with. They get the basics right.
Most importantly, brand value on a budget!! Tell someone you bought a City or an Innova and they won’t look down upon you.

vikas bhai ek aur negative ye bhi ho sakta he ki iski off-road capabilities old innova crysta se kam hogi na.
old one being the ladder on the frame chassis, it was more rough-road friendly. it can handle tough abuse in a better way I think.

For regular city and highway usage, the Innova Hycross’ suspension would offer better stability . On bad/rough roads, the Scorpio N would of course will be a lot better.

All issues of touchscreen can be resolved in software update so these are not negatives per see
Software updates mein camera quality improve nahi hoti. Amazing baat yea hai japan ki toyoto jab ab tata tak mein itna fine quality ka camera aata hai yea kami kyun kar di . Wiper too very cheap quality just a basic wiper they are offering

Boss in any 7 seater you does't have more boot space it's not a negative point it's a suv base designed mpv vehicle you don't ask like this. As wel as plastic is also not a negative point please give proper information.

We had 2011 Innova model validity of which expired and now We have innova crysta. I personally feel innova crysta nachti bhot hai. Itni wo purane wali bhi nhi nachti thi. Even on flat highways, my head is always doing left right left right. 😂

Front shape or we say front look is not very good & attractive. Toyota must need to changes in facelift 2023 or 2024 model. Change front look and must give all wheel drive and Must give 210 Ground Clearance . Then it’s perfect MPV and no body compete this MPV CAR. If Toyota changes this in next facelift model then it is the best MPV car
There is no need of Sunroof in India. Why the car manufacturers don't supply top models without sunroof? Sunroof is anticooling and unnecessary extra expenditure.

The interior looks like its taken from maruti cars. The android auto connect problem is there in some maruti cars as well. Looks like a maruti car from inside for 30+ lacs.
