    Thanks for explaining how to make presets with AI selections, that is magic time-saving stuff indeed

    It's funny - But I can't seem to get it to work. I really try and follow your tutorial to the T' But it just won't import to Lightroom - quite annoying actually 🤔 - But a great one Glyn - It clarified the difference between profile and preset.

      I reckon your profiles / presets are being stored in a different folder and your system just needs pointing to them.

    Glyn, do you typically apply a profile at the end of the edit to create a look? Is there a scenario where you would use the profile as a starting point?

    • @glyndewis
      @glyndewis  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Luc I'd only use it at the beginning if I knew 100% that I wasn't going to be taking the image into Photoshop because if I did that, the look would be 'cooked' into the image if that makes sense.

    Great explanation! thanks for the video. Is there a way to convert a profile (or lut) to a preset? Like seeing the settings inside profile/lut?
    Thanks!

    I've followed the instructions to create a LUT and save it. However, no matter how many times I exit LR, they do not appear. I can see them in ACR. I did this before with a previous version of LRC and it worked fine.

      In Lightroom, go to Preferences and the Preset tab. Do you happen to have the 'Store Presets with this catalog' check box ticked?

    • @Pandybelly

      @@glyndewis Hi Glyn, That box is ticked.

    Back from vacation. Lots to catch up with, this one was an excellent start to rewind the past few weeks. Profile=file - preset=settings. Brilliant. Many thanks Glyn!
