Eargasmic indeed ! those drums are insane ! This was perhaps the sound supposed to play on the developers hardware, the YM2151 and especially the K007232 cannot keep up with this.Dont get me wrong, the original hardware sounds good, but one must consider the price of it, along with the rest of the components.From the hardware point of view, it is impressive how much can be squeezed from a 68k, z80, ym2151, K007232 and a few tens of kilobytes of ROM&RAM. Hats down ! Thanks for releasing this masterpiece !
There are a few other ports of Konami Games for the X68000 that also offer this setup, but I don't know those off the top of my head. There are also other companies that made games that both use OPM and MT-32 IIRC.

2022年現在今でもX68000を当時のまま家で保管しております。グラⅡはX68Kのゲームの中でも最高峰だと今でも思います。アーケードの基盤との処理能力にかなり差があったにもかかわらずコナミはそれを感じさせない移植をしてくれました。コナミ、本当にありがとう。購入して初めてプレイした時の感動は今でも忘れません。

リアタイではMIDIボードもMT-32も買えなくて、5～6年前に実現させた。その時の感動が蘇った…
載せてる人もコメントしてる人もみんなリアルタイムを知らないだろう外国人さんたちとは、当時は想像できなかったなぁ。
それにしてもこのMT-32＋内蔵音源バージョン、MIDI POWERに収録されたSC-55バージョンよりいいなぁ。こっちで収録して欲しかった。
